League of Legends: Naldo’s Legendary LOL LCS Picks

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/26/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

FlyQuest (FQ)(-240) vs Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) (+170).

FlyQuest is arguably the second-best team of the LCS right behind Cloud 9. They are going up against Counter Logic who is considered to be a very questionable team as far talent goes but here they are with a solid record of 3-1. I will say I cannot give these guys all the credit for this record as their only decent win has been against Golden Guardians. We have two teams that are equals in the standings but FlyQuest has the much advantage skill talent being led by PowerofEvil and the newly added Mash who has been a shot of fresh air to a lineup that was even strong with WildTurtle. I like the idea of Fly developing new talent in LOL.

FlyQuest carries a 75% rate of first blood in matches suggesting they are very aggressive since the start compared to CLG’s 25% first blood rate.  FlyQuest stats on paper and in-game are just superior, more importantly, averaging about 17.3 KPG with a team K/D average of 2.3 and a 70% kill participation being their lowest percentage average of all the players.  With that said I will be having most of my exposure riding on this team. (70% FLY/ 30% CLG)

FQ Starting Lineup: (TOP) Solo (JNG) Santorin (MID) PowerofEvil (ADC) Mash (SUP) Ignar
CLG Starting Lineup:(TOP) Ruin (JNG) Wiggily (MID) Poberter (ADC) Stixxray (SUP) Smoothie

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  •  (TOP) Solo (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Santorin (Cheap option)
  • (MID) PowerofEvil (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Mash (Top Gpp option)
  • (SUP) Ignar (Cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: FlyQuest Gaming (CLG as deep gpp shot)

Cloud 9 (C9)(-360) vs Team Liquid (TL)(+250).

There is no doubt that C9 is a very talented team and that they are the top team of this LOL league. So much that they make the opponents look like casuals with their team fighting and objective control. I mean Vulcan their support has an incredible KDA of 46.0. It’s safe to say these guys are on another level. And their confidence, outside of the game is unmatched. This is a very fun team to watch in and outside of the game.

Team Liquid is good, but not near as good as Cloud9 and it’s not even close. I just do not picture this team winning. They just got off a horrible loss against EG that I thought they should have won. Given that these games are all best of one, I would not be mad if you wanted to go against the grain here and take a shot at the ultimate gpp option today in TL. Go in expecting to lose any money you put up betting on them so you are not disappointed.

Cloud 9 Starting Lineup: (TOP) Licorice (JNG) Blaber (MID) Nisqy (ADC) Zven  (SUP) Vulcan

Team Liquid Starting Lineup:(TOP) Impact (JNG) Broxah (MID) Jensen (ADC) Tactical  (SUP) CoreJJ

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Licorice (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Blaber (Top Cheap option)
  • (MID)  Nisqy (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Zven (Optimal option)
  • (SUP) Vulcan (Top cheap option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Cloud 9

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Counter Logic Gaming [30% exposure]
  2. Team Liquid [20% exposure]

We are going to start by breaking down the two matchups of the new LPL split scheduled to go off at 5 am and 7 am Eastern standard time on Tuesda The DraftKings and FanDuel slates lock at 5 am SHARP. The slate is two best of three-game series LPL (Chinese League) matches.

The first match is JD GAMING (JDG) (-2500) VS. DOMINUS ESPORTS (DMO) (+850). and the second match is INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (-190) VS. LGD GAMING (LGD)(+135). I am going to break down each game the way I feel it will play out. I will post my betting picks and favorite team immediately following the breakdown.

At the later stage of my article, I will have a list of my favorite captain’s/stars in order of preference. This article is for both Draftkings and FanDuel.

MATCH ONE: LPL SUMMER SPLIT

MATCH ONE: JD GAMING (JDG) (-2500) VS. DOMINUS ESPORTS (DMO) (+850).

STARTIG LINEUPS:

This match is pretty straight forward for me. DMO is absolutely awful, coming into this match with ZERO wins on the season so far. Not only have they lost every series so far, but they also have not even won a single game in those four series losses. DMO has been swept by every team that they have played (V5, ES, LGD, and OMG).

The vegas odds are spot on here with JDG -2500. JDG is the 2020 spring split LPL champions. This split they have not started so well, but I DO NOT anticipate them losing to a team of DMO’s Calibur. They have losses to TES, who are the 2020 midseason cup champions and currently number one in the LPL. Also to RNG has been an up and coming solid team, beating everyone in their path.

In my opinion, I think you should stack the daylights out of JDG and not look back. I will have JDG in 90% of my LOL DFS lineups. Just in case they catch lightning in a bottle, I will have 10% of DMO. I will be prioritizing Loken, Yagao, and Kanavi as my JDG captains in my JDG three-man and four-man stacks. My 10% of DMO will include Xubin as my captain if I decide to use a four-man stack.

As of right now, I will have one lineup with Xubin, Twila, and Chelizi as my three-man stack. I DO NOT RECOMMEND getting crazy and playing a bunch of DMO, it will not end well, and in my opinion, you will be lighting money on fire.

MY LPL DFS PICK: JD GAMING (JDG) (-2500).

MATCH TWO: SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH TWO: INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (-190) VS. LGD GAMING (LGD)(+135).

STARTING LINEUP:

This is the match that we are all focusing on. I’m hearing a lot of chatter about how IG is going to destroy LGD. Is it possible? Absolutely it is. Before you go and put all of your eggs into the IG basket, listen up.

IG has a record of three wins and one loss on the season so far. They slaughtered two of those opponents (Rogue Warriors and Suning), they were slaughtered by one (Team WE), and one opponent took them to game three, which was a very close match with a mediocre team (Edward Gaming).

In their match to Suning, they produced 32 total kills and were killed 16 times (great win). Versus Rogue Warriors they had 34 kills and were dropped nine total times (also great win). Both of those wins were very convincing, but who are those teams? They are bottom of the barrel teams that have a combined three wins with Suning beating RW counting as one. IG has played no one with actual skill and firepower except for EDG (mediocre team), in which EDG, in my opinion, could have easily won that series. IG produced 39 kills in three games, and EDG killed them 39 times.

What happens when they play a team that has a higher kill volume than EDG? Yes, you guessed it, they lose. LGD has been killing everyone in their site on route to a three and one record. LGD has produced 135 kills in their four matches, and in their loss, to TES, they put up 22 total kills, which is nothing to laugh at. What I am saying is that even in a loss to the best team in the LPL, LGD managed to put up 22 kills. I believe that this series goes to the final minute and all three games.

IG will struggle against a kill-happy team because they will be forced to change their game. LGD will chase IG around the map, forcing them to make mistakes. In my opinion, LGD will win this series and outscore IG. Even if they lose LGD will still be fantasy viable in your lineups.

I will have about 60% of LGD stacks in my lineups, consisting of both three and four-man stacks. In 40% of my lineups, I will have three and four-man stacks of IG. Like it or not, some of my lineups will have a one-off from LGD Gaming because I seriously believe that NO MATTER WHAT they will produce, win or lose, sign me up for the discounted salaries.

MY LPL DFS PICK: LGD GAMING (LGD)(+135).

See the source image

FAVORITE CAPTAINS / STARS:

LOKEN (JDG) (ADC)

KRAMER (LGD) (ADC)

YAGAO (JDG) (MID)

XIYE (LGD) (MID)

KANAVI (JDG) (JNG)

ROOKIE (IG) (MID)

NING (IG) (JNG)

XUBIN (DMO) (ADC)

SLATE SUMMARY: LPL SUMMER SPLIT

I will be building fifteen ESPORTS DFS lineups. My exposure in my LOL LPL DFS lineups will consist of 90% JDG, 60% LGD, 40% IG, and 10% DMO. Most of my stacks will be four/three. I will prioritize using ADC and MID in my captain spot. Any lineup that I can not use ADC or MID because of salary requirements, I will be using JNG. If by chance, JNG does not fit and ONLY if I can not fit the three prior positions, I will use a TOP or SUP in my captain spot.

With tonight’s slate being unique with the salaries and teams playing, I will have two lineups with one-offs from LGD in order to fit an ADC or MID player in the captain spot with my JDG/IG stacks. My one-off player will be Kramer (if avoiding Puff) LangX, xiye, or Mark. There is a possibility that I have one crazy line with a DMO one-off (Chelizi or Mitsuki) due to the cheap salary.

We are going to start by breaking down the two matchups of the new LPL split scheduled to go off at 5 am and 7 am Eastern standard time on Monday The DraftKings and FanDuel slates lock at 5 am SHARP. The slate is two best of three-game series LPL (Chinese League) matches.

The first match is VICTORY FIVE (V5) (+105) VS. VICI GAMING (VG) (-145) and the second match is ESTAR (ES) (+170) VS. ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP (RNG) (-235).

MATCH ONE: VICTORY FIVE (V5) (+105) VS. VIGI GAMING (VG) (-145).

STARTIG LINEUPS:

Starting with the first match of the day, VICTORY FIVE (V5) (+105) VS. VIGI GAMING (VG) (-145). In my eyes, I believe Vegas has the wrong odds today. I feel as if V5 should be favorites here.

V5 has shown way more positive output, and way more production than VG has this split so far. Victory Five has won three out of their four series so far this summer split, and Vici Gaming has won ONLY one series so far. V5 has completely turned it around compared to the last split. They have given me no more reasons to doubt them, and I will not be going against them here.

In my opinion, I think V5 takes this series two games to one, with SamD being the most significant source of production. V5 will be in 70% of my DFS lineups, and VG will be in 30%.

MY LPL DFS PICK: VICTORY FIVE (V5) (+105).

See the source image

MATCH TWO: SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH TWO: ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP (RNG) (-235) VS. ESTAR (ES) (+170).

See the source image

STARTING LINEUP:

The second match is another one where I believe Vegas messed up a little bit. ES should be the underdogs, but the Vegas line should not be as high as it is. These two teams are a lot closer in skill than Vegas says they are today. ES has the ability to go out there and potentially slaughter any team in the LPL if they are on point.

On the other side, RNG has beaten some of the top teams and can also beat anyone on any given day. Both of these LPL teams are high kill producers, and this match could go either way.

I am going to lean another underdog here and go with ESTAR in 70% of my lineups and having RNG in 30%.

MY LPL DFS PICK: ESTAR (ES) (+170) .

FAVORITE CAPTAINS / STARS:

Wink (ADC) (ES)

SamD (ADC) (V5)

FenFen (MID) (ES)

Mole (MID) (V5)

Betty (ADC) (RNG)

iBoy (ADC) (VG)

Xiaohu (MID) (RNG)

Forge (MID) (VG)

SLATE SUMMARY: LPL SUMMER SPLIT

I will be building ten ESPORTS DFS lineups. My exposure in my LOL LPL DFS lineups will consist of 70% ES, 70% V5, 30% VG, and 30% RNG. All of my stacks will be four/three.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/21 CBLOL Breakdown

Today we will be looking into a four-game slate of 2020 Split 2 on 6/21/2020 @ 12:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

CBLOL Teams to Target

Santos E-sports  (SAN) (-240) vs Prodigy E-sports(PRG)(+170).

CBLOL Starting Lineup: (TOP) JackPot (JNG) Hyoga (MID) Rainbow (ADC) Juzo/Sarkis (SUP) Hawk

This is going to be a relatively “easy” game for Santos E-sports, or it should be, its the least I can say. Santos E-Sports so far has everything on its arsenal to be the best team in this league and coming up with the promotion for sure. Today they will be going up against Prodigy E-sports who are just tied Vivo Keyd team in the league at this moment ith the last spot of the league. Santos is a team in which I called to sweep through this league since they got the opportunity to be in it.

I have watched plenty of films in the CBLOL of these guys and they are the real deal, at least at the skill level of this competition. This is a very balanced oriented team that is not afraid to play passive or take the fighting to their opponents. Expect for Santos to have some fun here pushing the fights onto Prodigy who average just shy of 14 deaths per game. Santos does average just shy of 16 kills per game, so I’m expecting Prodigy to feed kills here. Lock them in for cash games, worth the look into GPP as well.

CBLOL Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Hyoga (7,200) (Optimal option)
  • (MID) Rainbow ($7,600) (Top optimal option)
  • (ADC) Sarkis/Juzo (Whoever starts is top optimal option)

CBLOL Pick to win: Santos E-Sports

INTZ E-Sports (INTZ) (-170) vs Vivo Keyd (VK)(+125).

CBLOL Starting Lineup:(TOP) Tay (JNG) Shini (MID) Envy (ADC) micaO  (SUP) RedBert

A solid team overall that has only lost to the top two teams in the CBLOL. Very confident they come through here against Vivo Keyd who are just not what they used to be. Vivo Keyd has struggled hard in this split, and while they never were a top team they were at least middle of the pack. Communication just does not seem like it’s up to par, and INTZ will surely capitalize on their lack of teamwork and follow through with fights.

These two teams do not average a whole lot of kills, but the key here is Vivo Keyd averaging a solid 15 deaths per game. I will most likely be stacking Santos with Intz in my cash games for a solid floor coverage if anything goes south. But I doubt it and feel comfortable with the two teams for cash.

CBLOL Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Tay ($6,200) (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Shini ($6,400) (Cheap option)
  • (MID) Envy ($7,200) (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) micaO ($7,200) (Optimal option)

CBLOL Pick to win: INTZ eSports.

KaBuM! Esports (KBM) (+120) vs Flamengo Esports (FLA)(-165). (High risk, high reward)

CBLOL Starting Lineup: (TOP) Yang (JNG) Revolta (MID) Tutz (ADC) DudstheBoy (SUP) Ceos

I had to go with an underdog for the clutch in GPP right? That’s right I am targeting KaBum! here to beat Flamengo Esports who are the (-165) favorites for the day. I get it, FLA just went from being one of the worst, two winning two straight after the addition of Bvoy and Luci to the roster, and let me tell you…he has been a monster! And with the team playing with a 70%+ KP rating the last two.

But we have to look at both sides here. Kabum has also been a force to reckon with their hyper-aggressive playstyle averaging just a little over 20 kills per win! Higher than second-best by about 3 kills. They have only lost to the top two teams right now in Santos and Pain Gaming. After those two I firmly believe Kabum is third in rank, with possibly Flamengo tying for the spot or maybe just below because it’s too soon to rank Flamengo after only beating two bad teams back to back.

I will take the underdogs here in a bloody matchup of two aggressive teams and hope to get Kabum at lower ownership to the top of my GPPs!

 CBLOL Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Revolta ($6,200) (Top optimal gpp option)
  • (Mid) Tutz ($6,800) (Top optimal gpp option)
  • (ADC) DudstheBoy ($6,800) (Top optimal option)

CBLOL Pick to win: KabuM Esports.

CBLOL teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Pain Gaming (High ownership, expensive stack)
  2. FURIA Esports (High risk, high reward)

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagnravens and ask me any question about the LOL slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 6/14 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/20 LOL LEC Breakdown

Today we will be looking into a five-game slate of the LOL LEC 2020 Summer Split on 6/20/2020 @ 11:00 am EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LEC Teams to Target

Rogue (RGE) (+180) vs G2 Esports (G2)(-260):

Call me crazy, or maybe not? We have Rogue as the only undefeated team in the LOL LEC slate going up against what’s considered to be the best team in the world. The truth is G2 has been struggling. And they are no way on top of their game like they and everyone expect them to. Everyone is crediting them for the win over Sc 04 but not me. I saw a G2 team playing conservative, never really demanding the respect that they desire. There were points where SC 04 actually were outperforming them, in team fights especially. I really think G2’s confidence is not there, and their team play is definitely not in top form.

On the other side, Rogue is probably playing their best game, arguably the best team at this moment controlling games from start to finish. I liked the MAD Lions call over FNC yesterday, and I will go with Rogue taking this game in a very close match that only the most composed team will win.  Fun fact: Vander has a flawless KDA ratio with zero deaths to his record.

Site note: While I do believe Rogue will take the win, I will most likely have 60/40 shares of Rogue/G2.

LOL LEC Starting Lineup: (TOP) Finn (JNG) Inspired (MID) LARSSEN (ADC) HANS SAMA (SUP) Vander

 Favorite Captains:

  • (MID) LARSSEN ($6,000) (Top optimal option)
  • (ADC) HANS SAMA ($6,200) (Top optimal option)

LOL LEC Pick to win: Rogue.

MAD Lions (MAD) (-215) vs Team Vitality (VIT)(+155):

LOL LEC Starting Lineup: (TOP) Orome (JNG) Shadow (MID) Humanoid (ADC) Carzzy  (SUP) Kaiser

 Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Orome ($6,400) (Cheap option)
  • (JNG) Shadow ($7,400) (GPP option)
  • (MID) Humanoid ($7,600) (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Carzzy ($8,000) (GPP option)

Mad Lions is the clear favorite here and I will roll with it for this slate with confidence. They just came out of a huge win against FNC with possibly one of the best games you will see in a bit. Mad Lions right now are on a roll and even though they did lose against G2 in week one, they have pulled a few wins in a row. Team Vitality by no means are the same team as last season, they have shown flashes. But sometimes flashes just are not enough.

I see Mad Lion controlling this game from start to finish. Aggressively pursuing Team Vitality to force their hand at some fighting. Team Vitality averages just around 9 deaths per game, but I am expecting Mad LIons to force a few more with their aggressiveness. I do not think MAD needs to be as cautious as they were with FNC.

LOL LEC Pick to win: Mad Lions

SK Gaming (SK) (+195) vs Excel eSports (XL)(+140):

Are you a believer yet? If not, then you should be. SK is on the rise and I love it. By no means do I think they can beat a top team, but they can for sure will be able to put up a fight as the season goes on. I firmly believe this is a team that will end up somewhere along the middle of the standings this split.

Considering they are playing exceL eSports, arguably the worst team in the LEC right now, I will be putting my sights here on the Crownshot led SK team. They like to push, they like to scrap, I am counting on SK to control this game and hopefully make it a bloody matchup with lots of upside against a team that averages a second highest of the slate at 13.8 deaths per game.

LOL LEC Starting Lineup: (TOP) Jenax (JNG) Trick (MID) Zazee (ADC) Crownshot (SUP) Limit

 Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Jenaz ($6,000) (Cheap GPP option)
  • (ADC) Crownshot ($7,400) (Top optimal option)

LOL LEC Pick to win: SK Gaming.

LEC teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Origen (High risk, high reward)
  2. Misfits

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/19 LOL LCS Breakdown

Today we will be looking into a two-game slate of the LOL LCS 2020 Summer Split on 6/19/2020 @ 9:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LOL LCS Teams to Target

Golden Guardians (GG) (-145):

We got two teams that are struggling to look impressive to start the LOL LCS season. Golden Guardians are believed to be the better team overall and should have a decent season in the long run. The loss against Team Liquid was unexpected, but so has a lot of other wins by huge underdogs in week one. On paper, this game should not be as close as it is in the books. Golden Guardians are a much-balanced team in my opinion.

They work together and have a CS differential of +40 around the 15-minute mark so they are clearing pretty well. The problem lies in closing out the game. They control the map, capturing the first tower at 100%, and wards at a 61% rate within the first two games. I am thinking they play a more clean game against CLG on the road to win the game after learning from previous mistakes. CLG is not the greatest of teams, if anything they are a bottom of the standings team and this is a great spot for GG to bounce back. Don’t be afraid to go 50/50 on exposure if you are making multiple lineups.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Hauntzer (JNG) Closer (MID) Damonte (ADC) FBI (SUP) Huni

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (JNG) Closer ($6,600) (Cheap option)
  • (MID) DAMONTE ($7,200) (Optimal option)
  • (ADC) FBI ($7,600) (Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Golden Guardians. (CLG as deep gpp shot)

Team SoloMid (TSM) (-280):

This is a game that I very much dislike much more than the slate itself. I believe TSM are big favorites largely because of the names on this current roster. Broken Blade, Bjergsen, and Doublelift had their success before and still carry a lot of hype behind them. Problem is, they have not played how everyone thought they would and often look very sloppy. Giving the assumptions for a lot of leaguers that the stars of this team are somewhat washed up and no longer performing how they once did.

Another reason they are heavy favorites is that they are going up against one of, if not the worst team in the LCS at this very moment and going back to LoL LCS Spring split. I think TSM will slowly start to pick things up as the season progresses but I do not expect them to reach the playoffs, and if they did, they will most likely fall short of the first round.

I have TSM to win this game, given the talent that they have on the roster. Even if they do not play at their best, they might just be able to pull off with the win against a pretty bad Immortals team. For large-field tournaments, I will have a small exposure to IMT in hopes that TSM actually plays their worst.

LOL LCS Starting Lineup: (TOP) Broken Blade (JNG) Spica (MID) Bjergsen (ADC) DoubleLift  (SUP) Biofrost

 LOL LCS Favorite Captains:

  • (TOP) Broken Blade ($6,600) (Cheap option)
  • (MID) Bjergsen ($7,400) (Top Optimal option)
  • (ADC) Doublelift ($7,400) (Optimal option)

LOL LCS Pick to win: Team SoloMid

Notes: Very even matchup, liking Team SoloMid here but will have small shares of Immortals for sure.

LCS teams to consider in large-field tournaments:

  1. Counter Logic Gaming
  2. Immortals

You can always find me in the Win Daily Sports discord or on twitter @champagnravens and ask me any question about the LOL slate, and I will 100% be there to help out. Thanks for reading Naldo’s 6/14 targets.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/19 LOL LEC Breakdown

Today we will be looking into the LOL LEC 2020 Summer Split on 6/19/2020 @ 12:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, as well as projected lineups to make your lineup building a lot easier. Any questions about the article or the need for tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LoL LEC Tournament Format:

  • 10 teams participate
  • Double Round Robin
  • Matches are best of one
  • Top six teams qualify for playoffs

LoL LEC Top Targets:

Rogue (RGE) (-245) vs Team Vitality (VIT)(+175).

LOL LEC Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Rogue (RGE)(-245):

  • (TOP) Finn
  • (JNG) Inspired
  • (MID) LARSSEN
  • (ADC) HANS SAMA
  • (SUP) Vander

Team Vitality (VIT)(+175):

  • (TOP) Cabochard
  • (JNG) Nji
  • (MID) MILICA
  • (ADC) COMP
  • (SUP) Labrov

I will start things off with one of my favorite plays of the LEC slate, and a pretty much near-lock option for cash games. Rogue is one of the two teams that are still undefeated in this LoL LEC summer split along with Fnatic. They have yet to face a true contender, but it is easy to see this team is in really good form.

It all starts with their ADC, Hans Sama who in the past three games have only died twice. Currently also averaging a sick 16.0 KDA average and a 72% kill participation in those three contests. They are going up against Team Vitality who has not looked good at all in their past three, even though their record says otherwise.

I am expecting this game to be a replica of the FNC vs Vitality game where FNC controlled from start to finish, showing why Rogue is a contender and Team Vitality is not.

LOL LEC pick to win: ROGUE

Team Fnatic (FNC)(-220) vs MAD Lions (MAD)(+160)

LOL LEC Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Fnatic (FNC)(-425):

  • (TOP) BWIPO
  • (JNG) Selfmade
  • (MID) NEMESIS
  • (ADC) REKKLES
  • (SUP) Hylissang

MAD Lions (MAD)(+160):

  • (TOP) Orome
  • (JNG) SHADOW
  • (MID) HUMANOID
  • (ADC) CARZZY
  • (SUP) Kaiser

A match that I am always excited to see. On one side we have Fnatics, which are 3-0 since the start of the summer split. They have looked very solid, even in a very shaky start against their second opponents but managed to pull through with the win after strategically focusing on building their own champions individually.

I believe the matchup we should be watching is the one between the two JNG. Selfmade so far between three games has accumulated a stat line of 11/1/18 giving him an average KDA of 29! He is going to be matching up against Shadow who in my opinion is one of the best JNG in the LEC.

I will be splitting ownership here 50/50 as I think there will be a lot of kills in this game. But I will be targeting Mad Lions in large-field tournaments for their highly aggressive upside. This will be a bloodbath and in my opinion, you need one of these teams to win in GPP this slate.

LoL LEC Pick to win: MAD Lions (GPP FLYER)

Origen (OG)(-360) vs Excel Esports (XL)(+245).

LOL LEC Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Origen (OG)(-360):

  • (TOP) Alphari
  • (JNG) Xerxe
  • (MID) NUKEDUCK
  • (ADC) UPSET
  • (SUP) Destiny

Excel Esports (XL)(+245):

  • (TOP) Kryze
  • (JNG) Caedrel
  • (MID)  Special
  • (ADC) PATRIK
  • (SUP) Tore

Not much to go with here, we have Origen who has looked rough week one of the LOL LEC summer split. I will say that Origen is still a very solid team, while Excel is showing signs of being bottom three in the league so far with their sloppy play. Price is not over the top which allows you to at least get a double

Origen is looking to capitalize on the plus matchup of Excel. And they should do just that hopefully with ease. Their prices are not bad at all given the upside of this matchup. So I will be using them quite a bit, in hoping to grab them at lower ownership because of their recent bad performance. I will be looking to go JNG captain to fit in my Rogue stacks in cash.

LoL LEC Pick to win: Origen

LOL LEC Honorable Mentions:

SK Gaming(SK)(+135):

Very torn on this game but ultimately sided with SK here as a GPP DART throw against Misfits who have looked good, but not convincingly good. SK looked terrible against a pretty decent team in the Mad Lions so it was understandable, but actually pulled two straight wins before that. One of them being against one of the considered top teams in terms of talent from the last split in Origen.

I am expecting SK to continue to show glimpses of what’s to come in the future with a win over Misfit. This is strictly a gpp dart throw in large-field tournaments. It should carry ownership under 10% all around and I like those odds for these types of tournaments in a game that could be very close.

G2 Esports(G2)(-700):

I will not think about this too much, I will for sure have some G2 in tournaments and actually do not mind them in cash but carry some risk due to their previous performances. I think G2 is in a smash spot position here, and should not go overlooked because of their past struggles. The bottom lane here looks to be the most interesting, Jankos is definitely still in play but has struggled lately to get in going for his team.

Look for G2 to make an example of Schalke 04 and prove they are still the top team.

League of Legends: Naldo’s 6/18 LOL LCS Academy Breakdown

Today we will be looking into the LoL LCS Academy League summer split on 6/18/2020 @ 6:00 pm EST. Below I will provide my top targets for the day, correlation plays, as well as projected lineups to make your building of a line a lot easier. Any questions about the article or tips feel free to hit me up on discord.

LoL LCS ACADEMY Tournament Format:

  • Ten teams participate
  • Double Round Robin
  • Matches are best of one
  • Top six teams qualify for playoffs
  • Top two teams receive a bye to the semifinals

LoL Academy Top GPP Targets:

Golden Guardians Academy (GGS) (-235) vs. Counter Logic Gaming Academy (CLGA)(+165).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Golden Guardians Academy (GGS)(-235):

  • (TOP) ZionSpartan
  • (JNG) Hard
  • (MID) ABLAZEOLIVE
  • (ADC) KEITH
  • (SUP) Chime

Counter Logic Gaming Academy (CLGA)(+175):

  • (TOP) Deus
  • (JNG) FRAGGAS
  • (MID) TUESDAY
  • (ADC) WIND/STIXXRAY
  • (SUP) Fill

LCS Academy games are very much like a roller coaster. That itself should give you a hint that there will be teams that unexpectedly win as underdogs in this league. There is so much variance and inconsistency that you should not even be surprised at this point. Overall, this is one of the games that attract my attention the most out of all.

The CLG academy roster showed a very good game against Cloud 9 but proceeded to lose to Immortals who are in my opinion one of the worst teams in the academy league. Golden Guardians on the other hand have been playing a flawless game, and look like one of the top teams if not the best one. Golden Guardians are averaging 18 kills flat between the two last games while CLG averages 22 deaths per loss. I am looking for GoldenGuardians to keep rolling through most teams in the academy and come out with some decent upside for your stacks.

LOL LCS Academy pick to win: Golden Guardians Academy

100 Thieves Academy (100T)(-260) vs. Team Liquid Academy (TL)(+180).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

100 Thieves Academy (100T)(-260):

  • (TOP) FakeGod
  • (JNG) CONTRACTZ
  • (MID) SOLIGO
  • (ADC) PRISMAL
  • (SUP) Poome

Team Liquid Academy (TLA)(+180):

  • (TOP) Jenkins
  • (JNG) Grig
  • (MID)  Yusui
  • (ADC) Rikara
  • (SUP) Yama

100 Thieves Academy has been very solid since the summer academy league has started with a nice 2-0 start. On the other hand, Team Liquid has started with a horrible record at 0-2 for the opening week of the season. I have little confidence that Team Liquid Academy will actually win this game. They looked horrible in both games, they opposed no threat to the last two opponents whatsoever. With that said I am going to give the win here to 100 Thieves who have actually taken down C9, and a broken down Evil Geniuses. I am expecting 100 Thieves to grab control of the game from start to finish, allowing them to dictate their pace of the game and ultimately not allow TL to feel comfortable in their lanes by applying pressure constantly.

LoL LCS Academy Pick to win: 100 Thieves

Cloud 9 Academy (C9)(-220) vs. Evil Geniuses Academy (EG)(+160).

LOL Academy Projected Rosters: (Primary captain options will be in capital lettering)

Cloud 9 Academy (C9)(-220):

  • (TOP) Fudge
  • (JNG) Inori
  • (MID) PALAFOX
  • (ADC) TOMO
  • (SUP) Diamond

Evil Geniuses Academy (EG)(+160):

  • (TOP) Huni
  • (JNG) AnDa
  • (MID)  Giyuu
  • (ADC) Deftly
  • (SUP) Matt

Cloud 9 Academy had a pretty shaky start to the summer split, to say the least, dropping one of the two losses to a bottom feeder team of LoL Academy in Counter Logic Gaming Academy. And the other to 100 Thieves who have looked solid to start off the season. C9 is like their pro team and is considered to be the juggernauts of the LCS Academy. This is the perfect bounce-back spot for them to redeem themselves against a team that looked horrible and failed to look in sync with one another. Evil Geniuses have completely failed to provide some sort of decent performance and to my belief will not find success in the academy at this instant.

LoL LCS Academy Pick to win: Cloud 9

Honorable Mentions:

FlyQuest (EVEN) vs. Team Dignitas (-140):

A very solid team in the LCS Academy that I think gets the win here. Dignitas has had a very rough start to the season, while FlyQuest has looked very decent. I expect them to continue their solid start to the season. The line suggests it could be a close game and I agree, but I am counting on FlyQuests bottom lane to carry this game.

We are going to start by breaking down the four-game LPL LCK DFS slate scheduled to go off at 4 am Eastern standard time on. The DraftKings and FanDuel slates lock at 4 am SHARP. The slate is four best of three-game series combining games from the LPL and LCK (Chinese and Korean League). This is the first slate that the Korean league is back in full force for the 2020 summer split.

At the later stage of my article, I will have a list of my favorite captain’s/stars in order of preference. This article is for both Draftkings and FanDuel.

MATCH ONE: LCK SUMMER SPLIT

MATCH ONE (LCK): SANDBOX GAMING (SB) (+110). VS. AFREECA FREECS (AF) (-150).

AF PROJECTED STARTERS (NOT CONFIRMED): KINN, DREAD, FLY, MYSTIC, JELLY.
SB PROJECTED STARTERS (NOT CONFIRMED): SUMMIT, ONFLEEK, FATE, ROUTE, GORILLA.

AF started off the spring split as one of the better teams in the LCK, as soon as the mid-season break hit, they fell off the leaderboards and dropped towards the bottom. AF has been far from a top-tier team, and I don’t see them as a -150 favorite.

Sandbox has shown in the promotion tournament that they can roll with the best. In my opinion, I think SB takes this series two-one. SB works better than AF as a unit. They should be able to out-farm and out-perform AF.

MY LPL DFS PICK: SANDBOX GAMING (SB) (+110).

MATCH TWO: LPL SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH TWO (LPL): INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (-400) VS. ROGUE WARRIORS (RW) (+265).

Image result for IG VS RW

At the beginning of the LPL summer split, I had doubts about IG being a top contending team. Those doubts were quickly put to rest when they dismantled SN in their most recent win. They looked like the IG that I know and love. IG had everything together, barely making any mistakes, and that is going to be a tough team to beat.

RW is not the best team by any means, if anything, they are on the same level and SN. RW has internal issues that need to be fixed stemming all the way back to last season. IG should have no problem winning, and I believe this one will be a sweeeeeeeeeppppp.

MY LOL DFS PICK: INVICTUS GAMING (IG) (-400).

Image result for INVICTUS GAMING

MATCH THREE: LPL SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH THREE (LPL): EDWARD GAMING (EDG) (-210) VS. SUNING (SN) (+150).

Everything about me here says to just go with EDG and run with the favorite. In my head, I keep telling myself, “they are the better team.” This play is a complete gut play. EDG has shown that they can pair up and play with some of the better teams in the LPL, but so has SN. SN has been known to give some of the best teams a hard time, and potentially beat those teams.

This is my value play. I am going to have an even 50/50 split of both of these teams in my lineups, just to be safe, but I feel as if SN is going to win. Generally, in a spot like this, with a close matchup, I would stay away, but this match is going to have too many kills to stay away from it.

MY LOL DFS PICK: SUNING (SN) (+150).

Image result for SUNING VS EDG

MATCH FOUR: LCK SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH FOUR (LCK): DRAGON X (DRX) (+140) VS.SK TELECOM T1 (T1) (-195).

Image result for DRX VS T1

DRX PROJECTED STARTERS (NOT CONFIRMED): DORAN, PYOSIK, CHOVY, DEFT, KERIA.
T1 PROJECTED STARTERS (NOT CONFIRMED): CANNA, CUZZ, FAKER, TEDDY, EFFORT.

Both of these teams performed well in the mid-season cup. DRX looked like a completely different team, putting everything together in their first few matchups. They ended up faltering but not without showing that they had it in them to beat some of the best teams out there. T1 is the reigning champs, and I am sure will have plenty of ownership on them tonight.

They are an elite team and the best in the LCK but could have a difficult time against DRX. Yes, I know, T1 has beat DRX many times, and it could easily happen again here. I am not saying fade T1 by any means. I’m saying to make sure that you have exposure to both sides. I will have a 60/40 split in favor of DRX.

MY LOL DFS PICK (LCK): DRAGON X (DRX) (+140).

Image result for DRAGON X LCK

FAVORITE CAPTAINS / STARS:

PUFF (IG) (ADC)

HUANFENG (SN) (ADC)

DEFT (DRX) (ADC)

TEDDY (T1) (ADC)

ROOKIE (IG) (MID)

ROUTE (SB) (ADC)

ANGEL (SN) (MID)

FATE (SB) (MID)

SLATE SUMMARY: LPL LCK SUMMER SPLIT

I will be building twenty ESPORTS DFS lineups. My exposure in my LOL DFS lineups will consist of 60% DRX, 40% T1, 50% SN, 50% EDG, 70 IG, 30%RW, 50% AF, and 50% SB. All of my stacks will be four/three.

We are going to start by breaking down the two matchups of the new LPL split scheduled to go off at 5 am and 7 am Eastern standard time on Tuesday The DraftKings and FanDuel slates lock at 5 am SHARP. The slate is two best of three-game series LPL (Chinese League) matches.

The first match is LGD GAMING (LGD) (-700) VS. DOMINUS ESPORTS (DMO) (+395). The second match is TOP ESPORTS (TES) (-2000) VS. OH MY GOD (OMG) (+750).

MATCH ONE: DOMINUS ESPORTS (DMO) (+395) VS. LGD GAMING (LGD) (-700) VS.

Let’s hope this match doesn’t turn out like the first match of the game yesterday when the heavy favorite started things with a loss because of a massive pregame mistake one of the players made, but we aren’t here to dwell on the past, we are here to take down gpps. LGD is coming into this match with an impressive start to the new LPL summer split with wins over V5 and ES.

Both of those three-game series went the distance, and LGD came out on top both times. Did they looked very impressive, or was it just their opponents not looking so good?

In this match, I do not think my previous question even matters. DMO is coming into this match starting slow and looking pretty bad this new split so far, losing by clean sweep to the same teams that LGD beat (V5 and ES).
There should not be much of a decision here as I think DMO gets swept again, but with the way things have been rolling lately, I will DEFINITELY have some exposure to the winless DMO squad.

I will be building my lineups with 70% exposure to LGD and 30% exposure to DMO.

MY LPL DFS PICK: LGD GAMING (LGD) (-700).

See the source image

MATCH TWO: SUMMER SPLIT.

MATCH TWO: TOP ESPORTS (TES) (-2000) VS. OH MY GOD (OMG) (+750).

I know what your thinking; some heavy favorites have been taken out lately by some lousy teams, but I DO NOT CARE! I will not be overthinking this one. TES is the JUGGERNAUT of the LPL right now, the best team, hands down. They are elite at every stage of the game. OMG’s chances to dethrone TES here are slim to none.

I NEVER go all-in on a team, but this is as close as it gets. Knight (MID) and JackeyLove (ADC) are going to have a field day here, dominating all over the map. I do not think this score gets overwhelming, though. OMG has done a great job of avoiding team fights and farming in their previous games. They have not let up massive kill numbers like some other teams in the LPL have. TES should have no problem giving OMG the beat down.

TES could come out with a mirror strategy to OMG, relying heavily on both their TOP laner (369) and their Support player (yuyanjia) in order to build up their champions to an elite level just as fast, if not faster than OMG, then finish them off in the late stages of the game. I believe TES will sweep here, and both favorites come out on top today.

MY LPL DFS PICK: TOP ESPORTS (TES) (-2000).

Image result for TOP ESPORTS

FAVORITE CAPTAINS / STARS:

Knight (MID) (TES)

JackeyLove (ADC) (TES)

LangX (TOP) (LGD)

369 (TOP) (TES)

Karsa (JNG) (TES)

yuyanjia (SUP) (TES)

Kramer (ADC) (LGD)

Helper (ADC) (DMO)

SLATE SUMMARY: LPL SUMMER SPLIT

I will be building ten ESPORTS DFS lineups. My exposure in my LOL LPL DFS lineups will consist of 90% TES, 70% LGD, 30% DMO, and 10% OMG. All of my stacks will be four/three. I will prioritize using ADC and MID in my captain spot. Any lineup that I can not use ADC or MID because of salary requirements, I will be using JNG/TOP/SUP. This is a slate that if you want to roster both favorites in one lineup, you will have to go JNG, TOP, or SUP in your captain spot.
