Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Tuesday night and we have a 5 game slate to break down!

While tonight is a much different slate as far as the amount of games goes, it is in a sense a replay of Monday night. All five of the games on tonight’s slate are the second night’s of a back-to-back. One positive is we should know who each team’s goalie is because we can assume that most, if not all, will not use the same goalie who started on Monday night. This is hockey so it’s not a guarantee that the same line stacks or players will go off who went off last night, ok maybe McDavid is as close to a guarantee of that as anyone though, but I believe some of the teams we stack last night are great spots to go right back to.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Ilya Sorokin ($8,500/$8,200)

Sorokin should get the nod in net for the Islanders against Buffalo on Tuesday after Varlamov started on Monday night. Sorokin has faced this Sabres team 3 times on the season, winning all three of his starts and only allowing 4 goals. There is a downside in that he only faced 64 shots in those three starts, but on a small slate like tonight and in cash games I feel he will be popular, so another 22-25 save, one goal allowed win could be fine for you to win in cash contests.

Other Options: Jeremy Swayman ($8,300/$7,800), James Reimer ($8,400), Tristan Jarry ($7,900/$8,500) – Really only a DK play. I don’t think you can play Jarry at that elevated salary on FD

GPP Goalie:

Mackenzie Blackwood ($7,200/6,700)

This is pretty much going to be a rinse and repeat paragraph from Monday’s article since Wedgewood got the start on Monday. Real quick about that start, Wedgewood has a great night, even in a loss. While he did allow 3 goals, Wedgewood stopped 39 of 42 shots which earned him the 35+ save bonus on DK. Blackwood has been okay over his last few starts, including 3 straight wins (all over Philadelphia) but he has allowed some goals in those starts. But, back to tonight’s opponent, Boston. On the season, Blackwood is 3-0-2 against the Bruins and has only allowed 9 goals in the five starts and stopped 171 pucks for a 34.2 per game average. If we can get a 34-35 save performance tonight and only allowing 2-3 goals we could definitely get the value needed for a good start out of Blackwood

Other Options: Mike Smith ($8,100/$8,00), Thatcher Demko ($7,500/$7,00) – If you want to make multiple lineups tonight and plan on rostering McDavid, it might not be crazy to throw a Demko lineup in, just in case.

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Hurricane Hamilton Sends the Hawks Back to the Windy City

Dougie Hamilton ($6,900/$6,700) had another solid night on Monday with 2 points in a 5-2 Hurricane win over Chicago. I expect much of the same from the Canes in Tuesday’s rematch and there really isn’t a play I dislike on this team. I can make a case for any of their top three lines. Carolina’s third line might be the best value play on the entire slate with Jordan Staal ($4,200/$5,000) centering and seeing time on PP1. Both of the wings, Fast and Foegele, are near min price on both sites and make for great plays to fit the Bruins top line or McDavid into your lineups.

If you are looking to pay up some, the Hurricanes top line is the least expensive of the top 4 first lines on the slate, by a couple of thousand on both sites, and might be my favorite on the entire slate because of their matchup. Don’t forget Carolina 2, they are no slouch either. Basically what I’m saying is, stack up the Hurricanes tonight.

It’s Ok to Be Different

On small slates, you sometimes have to think outside the box and be different than the crowd for tournaments. For me tonight that would be stacking up the Buffalo Sabres and the Vancouver Canucks. I know the Sorokin should carry a lot of ownership tonight, I project he will be the second-highest owned goalie after Reimer. As for Vancouver, they might not get any love because everyone will be concerned with stacking the other side of this game.

Buffalo’s second line did a bulk of the scoring last night and it seemed like the Islanders had no answer for them on Monday. Tage Thompson ($4,200/$3,400) had a multipoint game, and Rasmus Asplund ($3,200) added a goal of his own. Sam Reinhart ($6,200/$5,200) had two goals as well as the center for the top line but did assist on Asplund’s goal. Add in Rasmus Ristolainen ($4,100/$3,700) on the point and you can make a very inexpensive Sabres stack tonight.

As far as Vancouver goes, their top line got in on all three of their goals and is a relatively inexpensive option. JT Miller ($4,800/$5,700) had a goal and an assist for the Canucks while Nils Hoglnader ($3,300/3,800) had an assist, and Brock Boeser ($6,000/$6,800) added a goal. I think you can add Quinn Hughes ($5,200) or Nate Schmidt ($3,600/$3,800) as a low-owned defenseman option as well to any Canucks stack.

Some Other Value Plays:

  • NY Islanders 2 vs Buffalo
  • Pittsburgh 2 vs Philadelphia
  • Chicago 2 vs Carolina
  • New Jersey 1 vs Boston
  • Pittsburgh 3 vs Philadelphia

NHL DFS: Defensemen Rankings

** Remember to always try and pair your defenseman up with forwards. One-off dmen are not usually the best option**

Top Defensemen

  1. Dougie Hamilton (CAR)
  2. Kris Letang (PIT)
  3. Darnell Nurse (EDM)
  4. Shayne Gostisbehere (PHI)
  5. Tyson Barrie (EDM)
  6. Matt Grzelcyk (BOS)

Honestly, unless you plan on playing a PP stack with one of these six D men, it is a night to pay down on defense.

Top Value Defensemen:

  1. Brady Skjei (CAR)
  2. Rasmus Ristolainen (BUF)
  3. Connor Carrick (NJ)
  4. Kevan Miller (BOS)
  5. Ryan Murray (NJ)
  6. Adam Pelech (NYI)
  7. Jaccob Slavin (CAR)
  8. Travis Sanheim (PHI)
  9. Brett Pesce (CAR)
  10. Jeremy Lauzon (BOS)

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night and we have a massive 14 game slate to break down!

The NHL schedule makers are at it again with a 14 game Monday night slate. After a 15 game slate on Saturday, followed by a 1 game slate on Sunday it is clear that the schedule makers either went crazy or got lazy at the end of the season. I will do my best to sift through this slate and find some of the best plays. As always make sure you are in discord throughout the day as some plays may pop up that I initially do not notice this morning when writing. We will almost certainly have some lines switching up at morning skate today as well which could result in some upgrading or downgrading of plays.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Semyon Varlamov ($8,500/$7,900)/Juuse Saros ($8,100/$7,500)

With 14 games on the slate, I can comfortably say that ownership really won’t be super high on any one goalie. I feel that both Varly and Saros are safe plays in their matchups with Buffalo and Columbus respectively. Both teams are fighting for a playoff spot (Nashville) and playoff positioning (NY) so we know they will be playing their best lineups and playing hard. Their pricing on FD will most likely make them a little higher owned, but really you can use either Varlamov or Saros in GPP’s as well if you so desire.

Note: Both Pekka Rinne and Ilya Sorokin are great options if they start in place of the two aforementioned goalies

Other Options: Jack Campbell ($7,800/$8,100), Tristan Jarry ($7,800/$8,200), Alex Nedeljkovic ($8,000/$8,400)

GPP Goalie:

Mackenzie Blackwood ($7,000/6,600)

Blackwood is what would appear to be a stay-away matchup against Boston at home tonight, but this is the type of play we love for big tournaments. I will assume that he will go completely overlooked tonight but he has the potential for a big night.

Other Options: Spencer Knight ($7,900/$7,700), Cam Talbot ($7,400/8,200), Darcy Kuemper ($8,200/$6,900) – FD ONLY PLAY, Anton Khudobin ($7,300/$7,400), Igor Shesterkin ($7,500/$8,200)

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

All the Stars Are on Display Tonight

Let’s just get this out of the way before I move on to other things. We have the league’s best on display tonight and really you can’t go wrong with any of The Three M’igos: Matthews, McDavid, and MacKinnon. I wouldn’t say it’s a priority to get them in, but if you can make their salaries work either in a stack or as a one-off I say do it. All three are in good matchups tonight and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in a tournament-winning lineup.

Even though I like Blackwood tonight for tournaments, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t consider a Boston first line stack against him in cash games. They are the top overall line for me on this slate and they are also the most expensive line on this slate. With 14 games to pick through, I am sure we can find some value to make it work.

St. Louis Looks to Make Anaheim Sing the Blues

On such a huge slate some teams will get lost in the shuffle but St. Louis’ top line should not be one of them. One of the first things about them that I like is their salary. The Blues top unit will save you between $7-8K over some of the other top lines on this slate and we can definitely use savings like that tonight. David Perron ($6,000/$6,200) is currently riding a four-game point streak during which he has 2 goals and 5 assists. At the center of this line, Ryan O’Reilly ($6,400/$6,200) points in four of five totaling 5 goals and 4 assists. Brayden Schenn ($5,200/$4,700) is the only one who hasn’t been hot, but maybe tonight is his night. Justin Faulk ($4,800/$3,700) is the defenseman you can pair with any two-man combo of this line for a power-play stack as well.

Value in New York? Get Outta Here!!

No, really you can find value in New York. It’s not easy though, and I live here so I know! The Rangers’ 3rd line presents some of the top value on the slate tonight against Washington. If you want to fit in a tippy top-line stack you will need to find some cheap plug-ins and I really like this line for that. Both Kaapo Kakko ($2,600/$3,900) and Colin Blackwell ($3,000/$3,500) are on the Rangers’ second power-play unit. These two, along with Filip Chytil ($3,100/$3,900) won’t break the bank, and they probably won’t be atop the leaderboards tonight but they could easily net you enough points for a nice night and land you in the green.

Some Other Value Plays:

  • San Jose 1 vs Col
  • Pittsburgh 2 vs Phi
  • NY Islanders 2 vs Buf
  • New Jersey 1 vs Bos
  • Washington 1 vs NYR
  • Carolina 3 vs Chi
  • Nashville 2 vs CBJ (LOVE this line, they’ve been fire lately)

There are SO many great plays on this slate both as for top units to stack or value stacks and I can’t name them all. Once again, make sure you are in discord as I may find some other plays later I like that I missed this morning (I started writing this article at 5 am on the east coast, cut me some slack!)

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night and we have a 7 game slate to break down!

Tonight we have a 7 game slate that focuses around the West division with 6 of their 8 teams in action as well as two potentially high-scoring games from the North division as well. Lastly, we have a possible playoff matchup with Florida traveling to Nashville, and from the same Central division, Carolina is in Dallas as the Stars try to get themselves into the playoffs. Colorado is playing St. Louis for the fourth game in a row and is coming off a disastrous game where they blew a 3-0 lead so we knew they will want to come out flying. There are a ton of pay-up spots tonight with McDavid, Draisaitl, Mackinnon, Barkov, and some of the high-priced Jets on the slate as well.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Braden Holtby ($8,000/$7,100)

Holtby could be the chalk option of the night in a matchup with Ottawa. It also helps that both sites priced him down for this matchup, especially FanDuel. Holtby has been on a roll since the Canucks have returned from their COVID break. In his last three starts, Holtby is 3-0 with 7 goals allowed and made 100 saves on 107 shots in that span. Included in his modest win streak Holtby defeated the Senators stopping 26 of 28 shots faced.

Other Cash Options: Jonas Johansson ($8,400/$8,700), James Reimer ($8,300/$8,500)

GPP Goalie:

John Gibson ($7,100/$6,600)

And it’s been awhile since I wrote up John Gibson” (sung like the Staind song “It’s Been a While”. Gibson is one of, if not, my favorite goalies in the entire league, I think he is extremely talented and it also helps he’s American. He is just on the West coast on a terrible team so he doesn’t get the love he deserves. Tonight he gets the Kings in Hollywood, and oddly enough Gibson has been great on the road in 2021. Gibson has averaged 17.5 DK points and 23 FD points per game in his last 9 away games this season. Another reason I love Gibby tonight is that LA loves to shoot the puck, and Anaheim loves to allow shots on goal. Gibson is averaging 32.6 saves per game in his last 5 and could easily hit the 35 save bonus on DK.

Other GPP Options: Mike Smith ($7,600/$8,100), Juuse Saros ($7,300/$7,600), Darcy Kuemper ($7,800/$6,800) – GREAT play on FD, a little price for DK.

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Can the Stars shine through as a Hurricane bears down in Dallas?

Dallas’ top line projects to me as one of the lines with the safest floors as well as having an incredibly high ceiling. Now, like with last week when I wrote them up it is all reliant on Roope Hintz ($6,100/$6,400) deciding if he’s a hockey player or basketball player tonight. This top line is not overly expensive and will come in at low ownership because we have Edmonton, Colorado, Florida, and Winnipeg in great spots on this slate. Even Carolina on the other side of this matchup is in a great spot and makes this game an interesting game stack candidate to get off the chalkier Edm/Wpg game stack.

Desert Dogs swim in the shark tank

Arizona is one of my favorite teams on this slate outside of the chalk teams I’ve already mentioned. In four games against the Sharks this season, Arizona is 3-1 and has scored 4.25 goals per game against San Jose this season. My top line for the Yotes on this slate is the second line, namely Phil Kessel ($4,200/$5,700) and Christian Dvorak ($4,000/$4,200). You can throw Clayton Keller ($3,600/$5,500) in for a PP2 stack in place of Lawson Crouse if you have the salary. If you are playing the Coyotes tonight, you HAVE to play Jakob Chychrun ($6,500/$5,200). Chychrun is on the top PP unit, but he will see time with the 2nd line as well. I am warning you all now, if you show me lineups in discord and you DON’T have Chychrun with your Coyotes stacks I am going to tell you it’s a bad build!

Lets go clearance rack shopping!

There are so many pay-up spots tonight that we will need to find some value to make those top-line stacks work. Steven Lorentz ($2,500/$3,200) (as of this writing) is skating on the Hurricanes’ top line with Aho and Svechnikov. We have seen his TOI almost double from his season average of late to where he is playing over 11 minutes a game now and has 3 points in his last 5 games. Sam Bennett’s ($3,800/$3,700) price has slowly been rising as his production does. Florida2 is a borderline value-stack tonight but either way, I have a lot of interest in them tonight. Both of St. Louis’s first and second lines are on my radar tonight, especially since they are fighting for the playoff lives sitting on the outside looking in currently.

If you want to go with the Avs or Oilers tonight in large field or multi-entry GPP tournaments you can look to their secondary scoring. I really like the 2nd and 3rd lines for Colorado tonight as a pivot off the MacKinnon line. McDavid is now skating with Jesse Puljujarvi ($4,400/$3,800) and Dominik Kahun ($2,500/$3,400) which makes them a semi-value stack. I like the idea of pairing them with either Nurse or Barrie in GPP’s to get exposure to McDavid without paying his high salary and hoping he just nets two assists and each of his linemates score.

NHL DFS: Defensemen Rankings

** Remember to always try and pair your defenseman up with forwards. One-off dmen are not usually the best option**

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night and we have a 7 game slate to break down!

If you were with us last night you probably had a pretty solid night as the Stars’ top line, as well as the McDavid lines, came through for us. Tonight we have a seven-game slate with games being replays of Monday, with Florida and Dallas being two teams we want to go right back with so I won’t cover them today, but instead will look for other teams to compliment those lines.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Chris Driedger ($8,100/$7,800)

Driedger is the expected starter tonight for the Panthers against Columbus on the second night of a back-to-back. In two starts against the Blue Jackets this season, Driedger is 1-0-1 with 61 saves on 63 shots including a 32 save shutout of this team back on April 4th. Last night Bobrovsky stopped 34 of 36 against this same team, so the shot volume is there for a big night for Driedger.

Other Cash Options: Jake Oettinger ($8,200/$7,600), Jack Campbell ($8,400/$8,200), Casey DeSmith ($8,300/$8,100)

GPP Goalie:

Semyon Varlamov ($7,900/$8,400)

This play is somewhat risky when you consider how hot the Rangers offense has been of late, averaging 3.4 goals per game in their last 10, but Varlamov has been equally as hot. This season against New York, Varly has 2 shutouts in three starts and has stopped 86 of 89 shots faced. I anticipate the Rangers being one of the higher owned teams on this slate so rostering Varlamov, while risky, could bring you to the top of the leaderboard if he performs as he has against the Rangers all season.

Other GPP Options: John Gibson ($7,400/$6,900), Jonathan Quick ($7,800/$6,900), James Reimer ($7,600/$8,600) – DK only play, too pricey on FD for the matchup

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Sid the Kid hosts the Lowly Devils

Pittsburgh has the best of both worlds tonight when it comes to NHL DFS. This is not just me being a homer, ok maybe a little, but their offense is all of a sudden one of the top units in the NHL again and I want to take advantage of that tonight. Obviously, their top line with long-time captain Sidney Crosby ($8,200/$7,900) at the pivot is a great play. Flanked by his wingers, Jake Guentzel ($7,400) and Bryan Rust ($6,900/$5,800) this line stack is the top overall play on the slate and is essential for cash games. On the other hand, they have a solid CHEAP value line that has been producing of late. Pittsburgh’s third line of Teddy Blueger/Zach Aston-Reese/Evan Rodrigues comes in at only $7.9K in salary on DK and $10.1K on FD. You can roster this entire line on DK for less than Sid, crazy. Blueger has points in three of his last four games, and Rodrigues has points in two straight. Rodrigues even gives you exposure to the second PP unit as well. Both Kris Letang and Mike Matheson are solid defensemen to pair up with these lines for a PP stack.

Disney Heads to Hollywood!

LA is hosting the Ducks tonight and while I like both goalies as GPP options in this game, I don’t expect dueling shutouts. Los Angeles top line has one of the safest floors on this slate and I really like them for both cash and GPP, but I think this is more of a GPP stack. Nobody ever really plays the Kings in DFS, which is understandable, but tonight I think they could be your late-night hammer. All three of these linemates had their 3 game point streaks snapped last game against Vegas so tonight is a great night to start new streaks! Anze Kopitar is the only one of the three priced over $6K on either site, and both Alex Iafallo and Dustin Brown are under $5K on FanDuel tonight making them a pretty inexpensive top-tier stack tonight.

This one’s for you, Allan!

Might as well briefly mention the Toronto Maple Leafs for my boy Allan. There you go, I mentioned them. Good night! But no, of course, the Maple Leafs are in play, and of course, Auston Matthews ($9,100/$8,700) is the best play from the Leafs. Their entire top line is a good stack tonight, as is their second line. If I am playing Toronto though, I am finding a way to get the Matthews in my lineup, even as a one-off.

The Best of the Rest

Like I mentioned in the open the same units we played from Dallas and Florida are in play like they were on Monday night. Both of the Rangers’ top two lines are in play tonight for cash games, but I think ownership may keep me off them in GPP’s. In the same game, you have to like the Islanders’ top line as well. I love Travis Zajac near min price on both sites bringing the price down on that stack and getting you exposure to Barzal and Eberle. Campbell has not been great of late so the top line from Vancouver is in play, especially with how they played against the Leafs on Sunday night. Detroit3 was a great play last night, so let’s go right back there for some value, and the same goes for Tampa2. Anaheim’s 3rd line is another good value line, especially Sam Steel and Max Comtois who are both cheap and get PP1 exposure.

NHL DFS: Defensemen Rankings

** Remember to always try and pair your defenseman up with forwards. One-off dmen are not usually the best option**

Top Defensemen

  1. Adam Fox (NYR) – Should win the Norris this year…but won’t
  2. Victor Hedman (TB) – Will probably win the Norris this year…but shouldn’t
  3. Dougie Hamilton (CAR)
  4. Seth Jones (CBJ)
  5. John Klingberg (DAL)
  6. Kris Letang (PIT)
  7. Brandon Montour (FLA)
  8. Morgan Rielly (TOR)
  9. Ryan Pulock (NYI)
  10. Drew Doughty (LA)

Top Value Defensemen:

  1. Brady Skjei (CAR)
  2. Gustav Forsling (FLA)
  3. David Savard (TB)
  4. Mike Matheson (PIT)
  5. Josh Manson (ANH)
  6. Jamie Oleksiak (DAL)
  7. Ryan Lindgren (NYR)
  8. Markus Nutivaara (FLA)
  9. Danny Dekeyser (DET)

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night and we have an 8 game slate to break down!

Another Monday and another large slate of NHL action to go through for tonight. We have two North Division games that are two of the top places to start when building tonight. Both Nashville and Florida are also in great spots tonight and are on my radar as teams that may get overlooked with Edmonton and Vegas, and even Calgary getting a lot of the attention tonight because of their matchups. We also have Carolina and Tampa playing, which could easily be game of the night, but just might not be a game we want to target in fantasy.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Robin Lehner ($8,500) vs San Jose

Lehner has a pretty weak matchup in San Jose and is priced up accordingly. I believe Lehner will be the highest owned goalie on this slate along with Jacob Markstrom ($8,300/$7,500) as he and the Flames take on Ottawa. San Jose has been terrible offensively in their last five games, scoring just seven goals in that stretch. Contrasting that with how the Golden Knights netminder has played, winning four of his last five games while allowing just 9 goals in the process and is coming off a shutout in his last game on Friday.

Other Cash Options: Jake Oettinger ($7,200/$7,600), Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,100/$7,800), Kaapo Kahkonen ($7,900/$8,100)

GPP Goalie:

Juuse Saros ($8,000) vs Chicago

Nashville has been on fire in the second half of the season and a big part of it is their goaltending. Saros has been practically been a wall in net the last couple of weeks. In his last ten starts the Finnish netminder has a 7-3 record along with an outstanding .939 save % while allowing just 19 goals and averaging nearly 30 saves per game. I think the Preds goalie (I am assuming Saros starts, but if it’s Rinne he has been just as good) comes in low owned because people may be scared off by the matchup with Chicago. Nashville has won all five matchups with Chicago this season and allowed just 6 goals in those 5 matchups.

Other GPP Options: Mikko Koskinen ($7,800/$7,300), Jake Allen ($7,700/$7,400), Darcy Kuemper ($7,600/$6,500)

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Dallas Stars Top Line vs Detroit

This of course is only relevant if Roope Hintz ($6,700/$6,400) decides he wants to play today. He has been like an NBA player this season with the constant will he/won’t he game-time decisions. If he is healthy Dallas projects as one of the top lines and one of the lines with the safest floors on the slate. Combining Hintz with veteran winger Joe Pavelski ($7,100/$7,400) and Calder Trophy front runner, Jason Robertson ($6,400/$4,900) this is one of the most unheralded top lines in the league. Robertson is an outstanding one-off on FD thanks to his stupid low price, he is basically a must-play over there.

The Connor McDavid Traveling Circus

McDavid and the Oilers are actually having a good season in 2021 and are always one of the top plays on the slate, and usually most expensive as well. Edmonton is at home to the Canadiens tonight and of course, are in a great spot to put up the fantasy points again. Leon Draisaitl ($8,700/$8,200) is back with McDavid (at the time of writing) and makes for a very expensive mini stack. I think we could see a dip in ownership on them because of the size of this slate, but in cash games, I would make them a priority and fill in with some of the value around the league (IE: Robertson and the Wild and Preds value)

Vegas Golden Knights Bring the Value!

We love to play Vegas every time they are on a slate, but they can be pricey. Of course, both Mark Stone ($6,600/$7,300) and Max Pacioretty ($8,200/$8,00) are outstanding plays tonight, but we can’t afford all the top plays (unless you play on SuperDraft where there are no salaries) so we need to find the value in top teams. Vegas’ third line has been a bright spot for this team since last week when they acquired Mattias Janmark ($2,800/$3,600). Janmark has picked up an assist and 7 shots on goal in his 3 games since joining the Knights. Unfortunately, DK has him listed as a center so this is one of those spots where if you line stack them you will use two center spots. Luckily there is plenty of winger depth on this slate (Draisaitl is a wing on DK) to make up for that. Both Tomas Nosek ($3,400/$3,600) and Alex Tuch ($3,800/$4,000) play on the Golden Knights’ second power-play unit and are actually my preferred plays from this line. Alex Pietrangelo ($5,900/$5,800) and Reilly Smith ($3,900/$4,300) round out this unit. Keep an eye on Smith’s status since he left Sunday’s game with an injury

The Best of the Rest

Both of Vegas’ top two lines are in play of course like I mentioned above, I also really like the Ottawa Senators’ top line of Batherson/Tkachuk/Norris for GPP’s, especially if Louie Domingue starts for the Flames. Another top-end value play is the Panthers’ 3rd line with Patric Hornqvist adding PP1 exposure. I also like a two-man stack of Barkov/Gusev from Florida as well. Nashville’s top line of Grimaldi/Johansen/Arvidsson is cheap and has a good matchup as I mentioned. Two other GPP lines I like are Montreal 1 & Minnesota 3, both lines have high ceilings and low floors.

NHL DFS: Defensemen Rankings

** Remember to always try and pair your defenseman up with forwards. One-off dmen are not usually the best option**

Top Defensemen

  1. Shea Theodore (VGK)
  2. Dougie Hamilton (CAR) – Might be low owned because of the matchup
  3. Darnell Nurse (EDM)
  4. Roman Josi (NSH)
  5. Jakob Chychrun (ARI) – Because he’s Chychrun and he’s awesome
  6. Alex Martinez (VGK)
  7. Victor Hedman (TB)
  8. Mark Giordano (CGY)
  9. Seth Jones (CBJ)
  10. Miro Heiskanen (DAL)

I have already mentioned Pietrangelo with the Vegas value, so that is why he is not on this list, but he is a great play as well

Top Value Defensemen:

  1. Brandon Montour (FLA) – Great play with the Barkov/Gusev 2 man
  2. Wyatt Kalynuk (CHI)
  3. Kris Russell (EDM)
  4. Jaccob Slavin (CAR)
  5. Juuso Valimaki (CGY)
  6. Scott Harrington (CBJ)
  7. Niklas Hjalmarsson (ARI)
  8. Ben Harpur (NSH)
  9. Gustav Forsling (FLA)
  10. Jamie Oleksiak (DAL)

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night and we have an 8 game slate to break down!

This is going to be a much different article than usual for me because of the uncertainty surrounding the slate today. For those who don’t know, today is NHL trade deadline day and there is sure to be some movement of players throughout the league. Because of this, we will most likely see players be moved off teams playing tonight making lines a bit jumbled. I will give you the games I want to target tonight and some lines that I think will most likely stay intact. I will suggest you check in to the discord today before building lineups where myself and the other experts here will advise you of any trades and new line combos.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Petr Mrazek ($8.4K/$8.5K)Alex Nedeljkovic ($8.2K/$8.5K) vs Detroit

Both of these goalies have been playing well for the Hurricanes and they have a home matchup with the worst team in their division tonight. Whoever starts this game for the Canes will most likely be the chalk goalie on the slate.

Other Cash Options: Philipp Grubauer ($8,500/$8,300), Connor Hellebuyck ($8,000/$7,700) – Seems too cheap for a matchup with Ottawa on FD, Marc-Andre Fleury ($8,100), Jack Campbell ($7,900/$8,700)

GPP Goalie:

Martin Jones ($7,800/$6,900)

Jones is just way too cheap on FD tonight for his home matchup with the Anaheim Ducks. Devan Dubnyk was traded to Colorado this weekend opening up the door for Jones to be the man in San Jose the rest of the way. In his last ten starts Jones has allowed just 2.5 goals per game, made 29.5 saves per game, and is averaging over 17 FPPG. He is great value on both sites tonight for should be a goalie at sub 10% ownership.

Other GPP Options: Cam Talbot ($7,900), Adin Hill ($7,100)/$6,700), Jake Allen ($7,700/$7,300), Kevin Lankinen ($7,800/$7,400)

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Like I mentioned in the open, it’s trade deadline day which means we should see some shakeup of lines and players before tonight’s slate locks. One team that is sure to make a move to add a player is Colorado. I don’t think we need to worry about their top line being broken up, or even their second line, so they are two of the top plays on this slate. The Av’s top line is my favorite pay-up stack, or you can use them as a two-man with Cale Makar ($6,100/$5,700). Since this is a large slate I personally don’t like the idea of going with more than 3 skaters from a team because I want to get ownership on multiple games.

Toronto @ Montreal

Toronto is at Montreal tonight is this is a game I don’t mind stacking. If you don’t want to pay up for Colorado, then Toronto is the next best spot to pay up for. Auston Matthews ($9,200/$9,00) is coming off a hat trick game this past Saturday and does love these rivalry matchups with the Canadiens. This season alone, Matthews has 9 points and 24 shots on goal in just 5 games against the Habs. His entire line is in play tonight, as is the Leafs’ top power-play unit with John Tavares, Morgan Rielly, and Zach Hyman.

Vegas is in Los Angeles tonight with the Kings in sell mode. I think Vegas will add a piece of two today, but their lineup should remain unchanged, or at least the skater we want to use will. Both of their top lines and top power-play units are great stacks tonight and this is definitely a spot I plan to target tonight in my builds. Vegas’ first line is back in order with Chandler Stephenson back from suspension. Mark Stone ($6,600/$6,800) is underpriced to me on both sites and is in spot where he has faired well this season with a goal and 4 assists in five games against the Kings this season.

San Jose Sharks

As I mentioned in the goalie section San Jose has already traded away one piece and others may follow today. If everyone stays put in their top 6 stays put we have two great stacks there as well. Both of the top lines are good plays but their second unit is my favorite of the two. I think they outproduce the top unit tonight and they come at huge savings on both sites. As a stack, line 1 costs $17.9K on both sites, but line 2 will only cost $16K on Dk and only $14.2K on FD. They are close to a must-play on FD for me and a great option on DK as well.

I definitely want some exposure to both Winnipeg and Carolina in what should be soft matchups for both, especially if their opponents (Ottawa and Detroit) move some of their assets today. St. Louis 2 and Minnesota 1 are my favorite lines from that game.

Remember to check in later this afternoon to see what moves were made and what changes may have to be made to the lines I mentioned.

NHL DFS: Defensemen Rankings

** Remember to always try and pair your defenseman up with forwards. One-off dmen are not usually the best option**

Top Defensemen

  1. Jakob Chychrun (ARI)
  2. Alex Pietrangelo (VGK)
  3. Seth Jones (CBJ) – Love the way he’s been playing of late and the price tonight ,especially on FD ($4.8K)
  4. Cale Makar (COL)
  5. Dougie Hamilton (CAR) – I can’t pay $7.7K for him on DK, but he is a great play.
  6. Jared Spurgeon (MIN)
  7. Drew Doughty (LA)
  8. Shea Theodore (VGK)
  9. Brent Burns (SJ)
  10. Morgan Rielly (TOR)

Top Value Defensemen:

  1. Ryan Graves (COL) – Too cheap on FD
  2. TJ Brodie (TOR)
  3. Brayden McNabb (VGK) – Cheap way to get some Vegas exposure, been hot of late
  4. Vince Dunn (STL)
  5. Carson Soucy (MIN)
  6. Calvin de Haan (CHI)
  7. Brady Skjei (CAR)
  8. Joel Edmundson (MTL)
  9. Josh Manson (ANH)
  10. Alex Goligoski (ARI)

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Tuesday night! We have a huge 9 game slate tonight that is frontloaded with the top teams playing early, but could there be a sneaky late-night hammer? Let’s find out!

With only two of the nine games tonight carrying an over/under of 6 this has the makings of a low-scoring slate. Pittsburgh is at the Rangers tonight in their first game since getting trounced by Boston. Carolina host Florida in the other game with the 6 goal o/u. Both of these games are on my radar tonight, as well as a few others. Let’s dig in and see if we can’t find some green tonight!

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Juuse Saros ($8,100/$7,600) vs Detroit

Saros and the Preds are in MoTown to take on the Red Wings tonight who just put up 5 goals on Sunday against Tampa. I can’t give Detroit all the credit for those goals, most of them were a result of bad goaltending or lucky bounces. Saros is a thousand times better goaltender then Christopher Gibson and should handle himself well tonight against the Wings. In his last 5 starts, Saros has averaged 30 saves per game and allowed just 1.4 goals per game. In two starts against Detroit this season (3 games played), Saros has stopped 56 of 58 shots and allowed just 2 goals for a sv% of .966.

Other Cash Options: Andrei Vasilevskiy ($8,500/$8,600), Mackenzie Blackwood ($8,000/$6,800) – Are you serious FD with this pricing?, Martin Jones ($7,900/$7,800)

GPP Goalie:

Linus Ullmark ($7,200/$6,700) vs New Jersey

Ullmark and the Sabres get very little respect and love from the DFS community, and rightfully so. But when there is a matchup that just screams out to us to play them, we must! Ullmark has actually been pretty solid in net for the Sabres of late with back-to-back wins while stopping 59 of 62 shots in those contests. Believe it or not, Ullmark is actually undefeated in 4 starts against New Jersey this season. Ullmark is 4-0 with a .949 save% against the Devils this season, stopping 112 of 118 shots faced. With nine games on the slate, and 18 goalies to pick from I think Ullmark could be criminally under-owned and help someone get a takedown tonight.

Other GPP Options: Ilya Sorokin ($7,800/$8,100), Chris Driedger ($7,400/$8,300), Dan Vladar ($7,700/$8,000), Casey DeSmith ($7,700/$8,00)

NHL DFS: Line Stacks

Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Rangers

Like I mentioned in the open this game is one of the two with the highest projected goal total on the slate so we will want to try and get exposure to it. I really like what the Penguins’ top line has done versus the Rangers this season. Pittsburgh’s top-line trio of Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, and Bryan Rust have combined for 8 goals and 4 assists in 6 games. Both of the wingers have amassed incredible shot totals against NY as well this season. Guentzel has 23 SOG in 6 games, while Rusty has hit the net 28 times in 6 games. I love seeing these totals because that means we don’t need to solely rely on them scoring multiple points to make value. Kris Letang ($6,100/$5,800) is the top point man on the power-play for Pitt, but we can also use Mike Matheson ($3,400/$3,600). Matheson has points in three straight games but is only a GPP play because he is point-dependent to make value.

As for the NY side of things, both of their top lines are in play as well. All three lines I have mentioned are expensive on both sites and should be considered your top stack on the night. Colin Blackwell ($2,600/$3,500) is back on line 2 with Strome and Panarin and is a nice inexpensive piece to help keep your stack down or paired up with Pavel Buchnevich ($6,000/$5,600) for a PP2 mini-stack. Another interesting player to keep in mind is superstar prospect Vitali Kravtsov for the Rangers. He is min price on both sites and saw over 10 minutes of ice time in his NHL debut Saturday. Adam Fox ($6,800/$5,900) is the only defenseman I would recommend from the Rangers, but I prefer him on FD to DK.

San Jose Sharks

San Jose’s top line is one of my favorite stacks and they are that late-night hammer I mentioned in the open. If you don’t want to pay up for either of the Rangers or Penguins’ top lines, then San Jose is where I would go for GPP stacks. Anaheim is terrible in their own zone and has allowed teams to just pepper their netminders, especially in high danger zones. They are allowing 4 goals a game in their last 3, and are 29th in the league in goals allowed on the season. San Jose put up 9 goals in early March in their last two games against Anaheim with the top line of Evander Kane, Logan Couture, and Kevin LaBanc doing the bulk of the damage. San Jose’s second and third lines are also decent value, especially Ryan Donato ($3,400/$3,300) who plays on the second power-play unit. Erik Karlsson, Brent Burns, and Mario Ferraro are the three d-men you can use with these lines as well.

Florida Panthers

We all know about Florida’s top two lines as being great line stacks and are two of the top cash lines for tonight’s slate. If you need value and want exposure to the Panthers tonight, I would look at the third line tonight. Both the top lines are in play of course for tournaments of course, but to be different and gain an ownership advantage I would look at the third line of Noel Acciari, Frank Vatrano, and Owen Tippett. Vatrano is on a 3 game goal-scoring streak and has amassed 16 shots in those three games. All three are on the Panthers’ 2nd power-play unit as well. This line projects at a high floor for their price as well, meaning they are safe for cash game value as well.

Cash game Line stacks:

I already mentioned a bunch of good cash game stacks in Pittsburgh, New York, and Florida, but there are some other teams that can anchor your lineups tonight in cash games. I really like both of the top lines from Washington and Chicago tonight as higher-owned cash game lines. Carolina 1 is always a good play, but I prefer Carolina 2 tonight. They have the safer floor and Vincent Trocheck against his former team is a great narrative play as well. Philadelphia 2 and Boston 1 both performed well last night and I have no problem going back there tonight.

As for some other value plays, one of my favorite lines is Chicago 3. They are cheap and give you exposure to both PP units. Boston 3 and NY Islanders 3 are two other 3rd lines I really like tonight as well. Nashville 2 has to be in consideration against Detroit tonight also.

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night! We have a 7 game slate tonight that looks like it could be a lot of fun with a variety of ways to build.

Tonight is another seven-game slate, which seems to be a very common thing in the NHL this season. Three of tonight’s seven games are from the high-scoring North (Canadian) Division and those three games are spots I want to try and focus on for my lineups. Boston, who just dropped 7 on Pittsburgh in their last game, is taking on a Philadelphia team that has been dreadful defensively of late as well.

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Cash Game Goalie:

Robin Lehner ($8,000/$8,200) vs St. Louis

Since his return from a concussion on March 19th, Lehner has been a virtual brick wall stopping 107 of 113 shots he’s faced. Lehner gets a matchup with the Blues tonight who are an abysmal 2-7-4 since March 6th and are averaging just 1.9 goals per game during this stretch. Lehner’s price isn’t overly high on either site and he just make sense as a safe cash play.

Other Cash Options: Philipp Grubauer ($8,100/$8,600) vs Minnesota, Connor Hellebuyck ($8,500/$7,500) vs Ottawa — How do you not play him on FD?

GPP Goalie:

Cam Talbot ($7,200/$8,400) vs Colorado

Talbot is more of a DK play at this price, but either way the man has been on fire since he has returned from injury as well. In his last five starts, Talbot has averaged 32.6 saves per game and allowed just 1.6 goals per game. I know Colorado is the top scoring team in the league, but a hot goalie can shut a hot offense down on any night. Over their last 10 games Colorado has averaged 38.6 shots on goal per game, which is one of the reasons why I like Talbot tonight. Colorado will shoot the puck and Talbot will have plenty of save opportunities. In their last two matchups Colorado took 55 and 42 shots on goal respectively.

Other GPP Options: Jack Campbell ($7,900/$8,100) vs Calgary, Mike Smith ($7,400) vs Montreal, Filip Gustavsson ($7,000/$6,600) vs Winnipeg

NHL DFS: Line Stacks

Boston Bruins

As I mentioned in the open Boston takes on the Flyers tonight who have been terrible in their own zone of late. Boston has (at the time of writing) switched up their lines by moving David Pastrnak ($8,900/$8,300) off the top line and onto line 2. I prefer line 2 from Boston tonight as a stacking option with David Krejci ($4,200/$5,200) and Nick Ritchie ($4,200/$4,400). Pasta is still on the top power play unit with Ritchie so using them with Matt Grzelcyk ($4,80/$4,300) is also a great way to go.

Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg is at home to Ottawa tonight and should be one of the better options in fantasy tonight. Ottawa is one of the worst teams defensively this season and has been even worse of late. They have had some really good goaltending which makes them see better than they have been though. In their last 5 games, Ottawa has only allowed 12 goals, but they have allowed at least 53 shot attempts in all 5 games, and even allowed as many as 66 to the Leafs a few games back. My preferred line tonight would be their top line Kyle Connor-Mark Scheifele-Nikolaj Ehlers ($20.5K/$20K). Ottawa has been good on the penalty kill, allowing just 1 power-play goal in their last 8 games, so I wouldn’t try and get weird with different power-play stacks here.

Minnesota Wild

Both sides of this game have upside, as do both goalies, but if you are playing GPP’s and Talbot why not run a Wild stack with him. Minnesota’s top line is inexpensive industry-wide and is one of the highest projected scoring lines in my opinion tonight. Kirill Kaprizov ($6,100/$6,000) is the highest-priced player on this line tonight and to me seems like a bargain at his salary. He is playing alongside Jordan Greenway ($3,100/$3,700) who has 3 assists in his last four games, including setting up Joel Eriksson Ek ($4,100/$3,800) for the game-winner on Saturday night. Eriksson himself has 3 points in his last 4 games also. Colorado has allowed 3 power-play goals in their last 5 games and has averaged 4 penalties per game. Because of this I also like pairing Karpizov with Jared Spurgeon ($4,100/$4,400) for a two-man PP stack.

Cash game Line stacks:

Both Toronto and Edmonton’s top lines are the best options for cash game builds. Of course, they are expensive but have the safest floors on the slate. After those two lines, Colorado’s first line, and then Vegas would be the next best options. All of these lines are good plays in any type of contest, but they will most likely carry the highest ownership.

As for some value to pair with those expensive lines for cash (or GPP really), you can look at both Calgary 3 and Philadelphia 2. Both lines are cheap and carry a relatively safe floor. Montreal 1 and Montreal 3 are two other lower-priced options that have pretty safe floors as well. Similar to Montreal, Los Angeles’ first and third lines are good value tonight taking on a Coyotes team who is on the second night of a back-to-back.

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Tuesday night! Tonight we have another seven-game slate, so let’s get back at it!

We are back with seven games on the slate tonight and only one team on a back-to-back (Edmonton). Looking at the odds for the slate tonight, it looks to be a low scoring night but I just don’t see it. We have some high scoring teams and some suspect goaltending options. There are also a couple of teams that are bad, not Buffalo bad, but are pretty bad in their own right (looking at you Columbus and Detroit). This is a compact seven-game slate with only two games starting later than 7 pm eastern, and no games starting later than 8 pm (sorry West Coast fans, it’s an East Coast slate)

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

Similar to last night there is one obvious option in net, Andrei Vasilevskiy ($8,500/$8,700). Vasilevskiy is on the road at Columbus in what should be a pretty easy win for Tampa. Columbus is not a high-volume shot team as they only average 28.3 per game, and Tampa only allows 28.2 per game. I don’t know if Vasilevskiy can make value tonight at his inflated price. Similarly, Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,400/$7,900) is at home to Detroit and will have a had time making value, especially on DK. I can see playing him on FanDuel at his lower price there though.

Alex Nedeljkovic ($8,000/8,500)

Nedeljkovic is my top option in net tonight on the road against the Blackhawks. Chicago is one of the better offensive teams in the league this season but they haven’t been scoring much of late. In their last five games, Chicago is averaging 34 shots on goal and only scoring 2.4 goals per game. On the flip side, Nedeljkovic is only allowing 1.8 goals per game in his last 5 starts.

Other Options: Pekka Rinne ($7,600), Igor Shesterkin ($$7,700/$7,400), Vitek Vanecek ($7,800/$8,500), Jaroslav Halak ($8,100)

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Like last night we have some obvious options when it comes to stacking. Edmonton is on a back-to-back but they are still a top option. Both Tampa and Florida are in great spots like I mentioned above and should be considered. Boston’s top line is still a great option even if Brad Marchand is out again. Any time we have The Great 8, Alex Ovechkin ($8,400/$8,600), on a slate he and his linemates are in play. I love all those teams and play to get exposure to some however I can, but to be different in GPP’s tonight I think we need to look to an offense who has been scoring at will of late…

New York Rangers:

Not many teams have been on fire offensively like the Ranger has of late. In their last ten games, the Blueshirts have averaged 3.9 goals per game and have scored 8 and 9 goals in two of those games. While those goal outbursts were against a dismal Flyers goaltending unit, they have lit the lamp against Washington as well. They are averaging 3 goals a game against the Caps in their last 4 against the division leaders.

It’s not just one line that is getting it done for the Rangers either, all of their top 3 lines are contributing during this hot stretch. Nobody has been hotter than Mika Zibanejad ($7,600/$7,900) has of late. New York’s top-line center has 18 points in his last 10 games, but 12 of those points have come in two games against the Flyers. I don’t mind a Rangers top-line stack tonight, but I think I would rather look to the Rangers second line tonight. I would rather take the savings and start my Rangers stacks with Ryan Strome ($6,000/$5,900).

Strome has been on fire as well with 14 points during his current 9 game point streak. During his point streak, Strome has 28 shots on goal to go along with the 2 goals and 12 assists. Against the Caps this season, Strome has 3 goals and 4 assists. Playing alongside Strome on the Rangers’ second line is Artemi Panarin ($7,700/$7,600) and Kaapo Kakko ($3,000/$4,000). This is a balanced line price-wise, and even though I don’t love the idea of playing Kakko he makes this an easy line to fit in your lineups tonight. Both Strome and Panarin give you exposure to the Rangers’ top power-play unit as well. If you are looking to make this a high-priced stack you can use Zibanejad or Chris Kreider ($5,900/$6,600) as part of your stack. I would prefer to go with a defenseman for a PP1 stack and roster Adam Fox ($6,500/$5,800).

I don’t love paying up for dmen but Fox is one of the best in the league. Fox is currently riding a seven-game point streak of his own during which he has totaled 1 goal and 13 assists to go along with averaging over 24 minutes of ice time a game.

Other Stacking Options:

Top Line Stacks:

  • Edmonton 1 vs Montreal
  • Boston 1 vs New Jersey
  • Washington 1 vs NY Rangers
  • Dallas 1 vs Nashville
  • Carolina 1 vs Chicago
  • Tampa 2 vs Columbus
  • Florida 2 vs Detroit – I think this line comes in at really low ownership because people will focus on using Huberdeau
  • Montreal 1 vs Edmonton
  • Chicago 1 vs Carolina

Top Value Stacks:

  • Nashville 1 vs Dallas
  • Tampa 3 vs Columbus
  • Montreal 2 vs Edmonton
  • Detroit 1 vs Florida
  • Boston 2 vs New Jersey
  • New Jersey 2 vs Boston
  • Washington 2 vs NY Rangers
  • Nashville 2 vs Dallas

Welcome to the NHL DFS Man Advantage for a Monday night! Tonight we have a seven-game slate, so let’s get started!

With seven games on the slate tonight we have plenty of options to choose from when building our lineups tonight. That may seem like a good thing, but some nights it can be a bad thing. Looking at tonight’s slate we have 5 of the top 10 teams in goals scored (and Vegas is #11) on this slate so there should be plenty of goals scored. We just need to pick the right teams and the right lines, and we all know how easy that is (insert eye roll emoji)

NHL DFS: Goaltenders

There is one obvious play in net tonight, Philipp Grubauer ($8,500/$8,100). Colorado is home to the Ducks who are on the second night of a road back to back. Anaheim just played an overtime game on the road Sunday night in St. Louis, and as one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league who is now also a tired team without one of their best players ( Rickard Rakell), this matchup seems easy for the Av’s netminder. If you are playing cash or on FanDuel, then Grubauer is your guy, but if you’re on DraftKings then this next play may be the one for you.

Kaapo Kahkonen ($7,900/$8,300)

Kahkonen hasn’t played in over a week for the Wild because Cam Talbot ($7,700/$8,300) has been the hot hand in net. If the Wild go back to Talbot tonight is an equally fine play as well. I think the Wild give Kahkonen the start tonight in San Jose against a Sharks team that ranks towards the bottom in most offensive categories. San Jose is 27th in goals for, and average just 2.6 per game. In their last 10 games San Jose has been allowing over 30 saves per game and near 18 FPPG. Kahkonen has mad 2 starts and appeared in a 3rd game, stopping 79 of 85 shots for a .929 sv% and made 31 saves the last time out against San Jose in a Minnesota 6-2 win.

Other Options: Tristan Jarry ($7,800/$8,400), Robin Lehner ($8,200), Connor Hellebuyck ($7,700/$8,500), David Rittich ($7,800/$7,00)

NHL DFS: Slate Overview

Once again, with so many of the top goal scoring teams on this slate (Edm,Col,Tor,Pit,Wpg,VGK) there will be plenty of options for us to use. Of course all three of Edmonton, Toronto, and Colorado’s top lines are in play. Vegas’ top line may be one of the best options on the slate at home to LA. We saw Pittsburgh’s top line destroy the Islanders on Saturday night. All these lines are in play tonight, but I have another line that could rival the scores these teams put up tonight.

Philadelphia Flyers :

Philly has not been the most prolific offensive team of late, notching just 13 goals in their last 5 games (3 loses). Just like you go to the doctor when you’re sick, NHL teams go to Buffalo to feel better and that’s what Philadelphia does tonight.

I like multiple lines from the Flyers tonight, but their top unit stands out to me as the one line that should get it done against the Sabres. They are not overly expensive but have one of the higher ceilings on the slate tonight. Sean Couturier ($6,300/$7,400) centers the top line and he comes in riding a three-game point streak (3 goals 2 assists). On the wings are James van Riemsdyk ($6,100/$5,600) and Travis Konecny ($4,900/$5,600) who haven’t been as hot as Couturier but in this matchup, they could get going. JVR has 4 points (2 goals 2 assists) against Buffalo this season, and Konecny has added a goal against the Sabres. All three are also on the Flyers’ top PP unit, playing against the Sabres who in the bottom third of the league in PK%. Kevin Hayes ($5,500/$5,100) and Shayne Gostisbehere ($5,100/$3,700) round out the Flyers top power-play unit. I really like Ghost on FD today at his cheap $3.7K price tag and he has already scored twice against the Sabres in just three games this season.
