8/6 MLB DFS Hitting/ Monkey Knife Fight Picks

A nice, big slate with several weather issues today and tonight in 8/6 MLB DFS. That is different from the last week or so where the weather was quiet.

8/6 MLB DFS Catcher

Will Smith, Cardinals at Dodgers ($3,300 FD, $4,100 DK): The Fresh Prince has been a big part of the powerful Dodgers offense since his recall a few weeks ago. He had the day off Sunday and should be in the lineup in a juicy matchup against Miles Mikolas, who has been worse on the road than at home this season.

8/6 MLB DFS First Base

Mike Ford, Yankees at Orioles ($2,300 FD, $3,900 DK): The Yankees have simply been amazing this season with well over 30 home runs hit at Camden Yards. Do you really think there is anything the Orioles can do to stop the Bronx Bombers tonight? Grab a cheap Yankee lefty against the Woj bomb, who came back down to earth in his last start.

8/6 MLB DFS Second Base

Eric Sogard, Blue Jays at Rays ($3,500 FD, $4,800 DK): A terrific pick-up by the Rays a few weeks ago from their opponent, Sogard homered last night against his former teammates and he has a good shot to repeat that tonight. A juicy matchup against Trent Thornton, who has the propensity to get blown up, awaits.

8/6 MLB DFS Shortstop

Bo Bichette, Blue Jays at Rays ($3,600 FD, $4,200 DK): I will be playing the kid Jays of Bichette, Biggio and Guerrero a lot over the last two months of the season and I really like his spot tonight.

8/6 MLB DFS Third Base

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays at Rays ($3,900 FD, $4,400 DK): Staying in St. Petersburg for this one, the Rays rarely get blasted but tonight I really believe they have a shot. They open Andrew Kittredge and then follow up with Ryan Yarborough. Vlad did not do much last night so at the pace he has been going at the last few weeks, he is due for a big game tonight.

MLB DFS Batting and Stacks for 7/30

An almost full 14-game MLB DFS slate for the last Tuesday in July.

Catcher

We will be talking about this game more in the stacking section below but Coors Field looks like a prime place for MLB DFS bats tonight. Especially on the Dodgers side, as Kyle Freeland takes the hill for the Rockies. Freeland has been historically bad this season, with a WHIP of 1.58 and an ERA of 7.00 through 71 innings. Will Smith ($3,300 FD, $4,500 DK) not only gets the platoon split but also gets the advantage of not being well known by opposing pitching staffs.

First Base

Edwin Encarnacion, Diamondbacks at Yankees ($4,300 FD, $5,300 DK) has been hitting the ball very hard recently. I saw him hit a single off the Green Monster so hard Sunday night that he was almost thrown out at first base. Seriously though, this matchup against Taylor Clarke is a great one. Clarke has given up 11 HRs over his last seven starts.

Second Base

Ryan McMahon, Dodgers at Rockies ($3,400 FD, $4,800 DK): McMahon, not Story, Arenado or Blackmon, has been swinging the best Rockies bat since the All-Star Break. Wait a minute, lefty on lefty matchup against Julio Urias doesn’t scare you in MLB DFS? Simply put it does not. McMahon has five HRs in less than 100 official ABs vs lefties this year and has a .780 OPS. His OPS against righties you ask? A remarkably similar .780.

Shortstop:

Let’s go back to Coors Field for Corey Seager ($3,600 FD, $5,100 DK). Yes I know it is another lefty-lefty matchup but let me ask you: how long do you expect Freeland to be around? Take the discount, especially on FD, and be thankful you get such a quality bat at a discount at Coors.

Third Base:

Eugenio Suarez, Pirates at Reds ($3,600 FD, $5,200 DK): Another guy I had to keep scrolling down for to find on FD (that means he is a bargain!), Suarez has been hitting everyone since the All-Star Break. He is thriving at home, which is an extreme hitter’s environment, and against Joe Musgrove and the weak Pittsburgh bullpen, he must be salivating. You should be too, in MLB DFS.

Outfield:

J.D. Martinez, Rays at Red Sox ($4,300 FD, $4,600 DK), Cody Bellinger. Dodgers at Rockies ($4,900 FD, $5,900 DK) and Joc Pederson ($4,100 and first base??? on FD, $5,100 DK) are the three outfielders I am highlighting. J.D. is about as hot as any hitter in MLB DFS right now and the other two are at Coors on the wrong side of a platoon. However, I do not expect that to last long and they can hit Freeland anyway.

MLB DFS Stacks

Dodgers: At Coors against the worst pitcher on the slate? What can go wrong?
Angels: Didn’t highlight any batters here but I certainly could have. Someone named Drew VerHagen gets to toss baseballs to them. And then is followed by a bad Tigesr bullpen.
Yankees: Always in play. Tonight they get Taylor Clarke.

MLB DFS Bats: Yankees Bats Look To Bounce Back In Boston

Position Rankings and Values

Catcher: Mitch Garver ($3,700 FD, $5,400 DK) and the Twins have put up 39 runs the past 4 games. Garver boasts a .322 IS0 and .395 wOBA vs right handed pitchers and is getting a hot bat lately. The opposing pitcher Dylan Cease does have some K potential but that doesn’t scare me in this matchup. Cease has given up a home run in every start of his young career which has helped contribute to his 6.19 ERA (small sample size). Garver is a great play at a position where I am having trouble finding much I like.

Catcher Value: Chance Sisco ($3,100 FD; $4,100 DK) is batting .291 ISO/.408 wOBA vs righties, and is at a reasonable price point on a thin position today. Griff Canning is all but guaranteed to give up multiple runs, even to the Orioles. Sisco comes through with a big swing every now and then and because of that, I’ll take him as my value one off today at extremely low ownership

First Base Stud: Joc Pederson ($3,600 FD; $4,700 DK) heads to Washington tied with Cody Bellinger for most home runs hit vs Righties on the Dodgers squad. This season Joc is hitting .387 ISO/.313 wOBA/.910 SLG vs right handed pitching. While opposing pitcher Anibal Sanchez’s stats are respectable, with 3.80 ERA/1.35 WHIP, he really has had an unusually easy schedule. Joc helps Bellinger and the Dodgers put the hurt on the Nationals tonight.

First Base Value: Sam Travis ($2,500 FD; $3,000 DK) is cheap and he hits lefties in a game with a 11 run team total. He has 2 homers in 30 ABs and bats .233 ISO/.325 wOBA vs southpaws. If he gets the start, he is worth a MLB DFS value play, especially if you stack the Red Sox.

Second Base: Gleyber Torres ($4,000 FD; $4,900 DK) The Yankees were embarrassed last night at Fenway when they gave up an all time series high run total (19) to the Boston Red Sox. They will be locked in vs the rival tonight. Torres is batting .305 vs righties, with a .394 wOBA, .233 ISO and .546 SLG. Torres contributes in multiple ways, if he isn’t the one hitting it in the bleachers he will be getting runs and RBI’s. Andrew Cashner is in for a short night here. He has a 7.36 ERA and giving up multiple homers is kinda his thing.. Yankees delivery in a big way.

Second Base Honorable Mention: Max Muncy (with Dodgers stacks)

Shortstop Stud: Xander Bogaerts: ($3,700 FD; $5,000 DK) Batting .315 with 23 homers and 80 RBI this season. He is the second best lefty hitter on the team, behind J.D. Martinez, and also hits behind him in the starting lineup. As far as BVP goes, Bogaerts checks that box too, with a .364 ISO, .380 wOBA vs the opposing James Paxton.

Shortstop Mid Range: Didi Gregoriuos ($3,700 FD; $5,100 DK) If there is anything I remember from playing DFS in years past it is play Didi when he gets hot. I fully expect Yankees to give Cashner nightmares tonight and Didi’s bat has recently come alive. He has a .371 wOBA and expect him to do his part on my Yankees stacks.

Third Base Stud: Yuli Gurriel ($4,000 FD; $4,400 DK) has four homers in his last six games. The Astros are almost at full health again and it is showing. Gurriel is batting .233 ISO/ .364 wOBA and faces Jack Flaherty who has avoided a blowup lately. However his opponents have not been particularly scary in the Reds, Pirates, Giants and Mariners. I think the Astros knock Flaherty out relatively early or at least bend him until he breaks before getting a quality start.

Third Base Value: Renato Nunez ($3,200 FD; $4,200 DK) This guy is hitting value every night and no one ever plays him. He has a .234 ISO/.340 wOBA vs righties and Griff Canning has been getting knocked around a bit lately. Nunes has three homers in his last five games and hasn’t put up a fantasy goose egg since July 14th. He has a safe floor with upside which is what we look for in MLB DFS.

Third Base Value: Maikel Franco ($2,700 FD; $3,400 DK) faces a quality pitcher in Mike Soroka BUT Franco is a vet who loves to break the Braves hearts. This is a low owned, value, gut play. Franco has just as many homers this year for the Phillies vs right handers as Bryce Harper and is batting .250/.443 SLG/.754 OPS. He is capable of a big night.

Outfield Stud: JD Martinez ($4,100 FD; $4,500 DK) He owns lefties with a .405 ISO/.494 wOBA. This series feels like it is going to continue to be explosive and I expect the Red Sox do their part on the scoreboard. I like the Xander/Martinez/Devers mini stack

Outfield Stud: Cody Bellinger ($4,700 FD; $5,600 DK). There is nothing not to like here with Bellinger. Batting .338 with a .371 ISO and .708 SLG vs righties, he is one the league’s most lethal bats. Anibal Sanchez has been pitching over his head lately, largely due to a “cupcake” schedule, and his numbers start to regress today. The last time Sanchez hasn’t gotten popped for a long ball it was all the way back on May 29th. I think the Dodgers pour it on here.

Outfield MidRange: Anthony Santander ($3,300 FD; $4,500 DK) is yet another Oriole doing damage recently and just not seeing a price increase. I have been playing him almost every night the past week or so and haven’t been disappointed once. I’ll keep rolling him out until the price catches up. Santander has four homer runs in his last six games and carries a .263 ISO with a .387 wOBA vs lefties. I’ll play him at no ownership for $3,300.

Outfield Value: Alex Verdugo ($2,900 FD; $4,000 DK) He is cheap, and batting in between two of my favorite plays on the day (Joc and Bellinger). He holds his own with 10 homers .202 IS0/ .350 wOBA vs righties. See above for why I think the Dodgers get to Anibal Sanchez.

Stack Report for MLB Main Slate: Winning Edge for July 17

This report will provide recommended DFS stacks for today’s nine-game main slate. I will also include my favorite pitching picks.

**All plays are listed in order of preference. Please check back between 5-6 PM EST as some players can receive rest days or get limited at bats especially as we get closer to the postseason.

Los Angeles Dodgers Stack

vs. RHP Nick Pivetta (PHI): 5.80 Runs

**Another game with rain out potential. At the moment it looks like the storms should hold off until after the game but i advise you to monitor the weather here as it looks shakey up and down the east coast tonight.

Nick Pivetta is on the mound this evening for the Phillies. He carries an average 5.81 ERA, 5.75 FIP, and 4.89 SIERA on the year. Pivetta has fairly identical splits, with batters slashing to a .360 wOBA, .530 SLG, and .340 OBP across 66.2 innings. He has given up 27 earned runs across 33 innings to right handed batters. He has also allowed 16 earned runs in 33 innings to left handed batters. The core of this Los Angeles Dodgers team is their left handed power and they have been tearing up right handed pitching. They are slashing to a .355 wOBA, .223 ISO, and 121 WRC+ over the last month to righties.

Boston Red Sox Stack

***Weather is a legitimate concern here, possible PPD. Pitching and bats risky. If you want to play a Boston stack, I would reserve it for GPP’s and monitor the weather.

vs. RHP Aaron Sanchez (TOR): 6.90 Runs

The Red Sox get a lofty 6.90 implied run total in this matchup against Aaron Sanchez (surprising, I know) and this is one we cannot ignore. I know we have some weather concerns here, so tune in with our weather man Mark for updates as we get closer to lock. Aaron Sanchez carries an average 6.22 ERA, 5.50 FIP, and 5.62 SIERA. Sanchez is allowing batters to slash to a .362 wOBA, .456 SLG, and .388 OBP across 97 innings. He has allowed 67 earned runs in that span. Aaron Sanchez is a ground ball pitcher, averaging a 48% ground ball rate. Although he doesn’t give up many home runs, he has a .330 BABIP and LOB of 66%. The Red Sox are slashing to a .374 wOBA, .252 ISO, and 131 WRC+ over the last two weeks to right handed pitching. These are the best hitting numbers on the slate by a long shot.

Preferred Stack: Rafael Devers ($4200 FD|$5700 DK), Xander Bogaerts ($4400 FD|$5600 DK), Andrew Benintendi ($3400 FD|$4500 DK), and Mookie Betts ($4300 FD|$5400 DK).

Arizona Diamondbacks

vs. RHP Jesse Chavez (TEX): 5.45 Runs

We have Jesse Chavez taking on the Diamondbacks in Coors South this evening. Chavez carries a 3.84 ERA, 4.51 FIP, and 4.24 SIERA into tonight’s matchup. He is a reverse splits pitcher, allowing righties to slash .353 wOBA, .519 SLG, and .329 OBP. He has fallen off recently after having a somewhat successful start to the year. I expect him to stay in this rough patch and we will see his ERA line up with close to his FIP as the season comes to a close. Arizona batters are slashing to a .300 wOBA, .161 ISO, and 82 WRC+ in recent weeks. These are by no means the averages I look for when picking my stacks, but I feel with the ballpark upgrade to the bats and Chavez’s recent struggles we could end up with a nice lower owned Diamondbacks stack.

Honorable Mention

Cleveland Indians

vs. RHP Spencer Turnbull (DET): 5.78 Runs

Preferred Plays: Francisco Lindor ($4000 FD|$5000 DK), Carlos Santana ($4200 FD|$5300 DK), Jason Kipnis ($2900 FD|$3600 DK), Jose Ramirez ($3600 FD|$4400 DK). Jakob Bauers for value ($2900 FD|$3600 DK). Mike Freeman ($2100 FD|$3700 DK and Tyler Naquin ($2800 FD|$4000 DK) are also good value plays.

Washington Nationals

vs. RHP Aaron Brooks (40-50 pitches) & RHP Gabriel Ynoa (BAL)

**Another trouble spot with weather otherwise I’d have them as the top stack. I think the game starts on time, but a good chance we do not get a full 9 innings.

Pitching

Chris Paddack (R) (SDP): 3.15 Runs
Mike Clevinger (R) (CLE): 3.27 Runs
Danny Duffy (L) (KCR): 5.01 Runs

Stack Report for MLB Main Slate: Winning Edge for July 15

This report will provide recommended DFS stacks for today’s 10-game main slate. I will also include my favorite pitching picks.

**All plays are listed in order of preference. Please check back between 5-6 PM EST as some players can receive rest days or get limited at bats especially as we get closer we get to the postseason.

Cleveland Indians Stack

vs. LHP Daniel Norris (DET): 6.30 Runs

Daniel Norris takes the mound in Cleveland this evening. He carries a 4.96 ERA, 4.62 FIP, and 4.71 ERA into tonight’s matchup. We get a nice little recipe here with his reverse splits. Left handed batters are slashing to a .367 wOBA, .540 SLG, and .343 OBP across 16 innings pitched. He has allowed 13 runs in that short span. His 40% hard contact rate and 40% pull rate combined with his shakiness to lefties can make for some easy liners to right field. Norris racked up eight strikeouts but gave up six earned runs in his last meeting with Cleveland. Cleveland batters are hitting below their season averages this month, slashing to a .309 wOBA, .154 ISO, and 88 WRC+. These numbers aren’t typically what we look for but they’re in the worst part of their slump and this is a good opportunity to bust out of it.

Preferred Stack: Roberto Perez ($2700 FD|$4100 DK), Jordan Luplow ($2500 FD|$3900 DK), Carlos Santana ($3800 FD|$5000 DK), and Francisco Lindor ($4000 FD|$4900 DK).

Colorado Rockies Stack

vs. RHP Derek Rodriguez (SFG):

Dereck Rodriguez was called up from AAA as the 26th man ahead of today’s doubleheader. He carries a 5.27 ERA, 5.57 FIP, and 5.46 SIERA across 57 innings pitched into tonight’s game. He has struggled both to righties and lefties, allowing a .338 wOBA, .462 SLG, and 46% hard contact rate. The Rockies batting averages are creeping up again on this home stand and should continue to rise this evening. They are slashing to a .349 wOBA, .193 ISO, and .457 SLG against right handed pitching recently and the studs in this lineup are coming off a rest day.

Every stack report in the industry is going to have the Giants and Rockies. Ownership almost always levitates to Coors, especially when you have Dereck Rodriguez (SFG) and Chi Chi Gonzalez (COL) pitching. Going to be a lot of ownership on both sides here ,so I am not writing up the Giants in detail for that purpose, but I’ve included my preferred stack if you decide to go with the masses tonight.

Los Angeles Dodgers Stack

vs. RHP Zach Eflin (PHI): 5.40 Runs

I imagine ownership here will be higher as well. It’s not very often we get the Dodgers so early in the evening. Zach Eflin carries a 3.78 ERA, 4.66 FIP, and 4.70 SIERA into tonight’s matchup. Left handed batters are slashing to a .357 wOBA, .544 SLG, and .333 OBP. He has allowed 22 earned runs and 11 home runs across 43 innings pitched to lefties as well. The only concern I really have with Dodgers batters here is a possible hangover from last night’s game. The Dodgers are slashing .to a 335 wOBA, .209 ISO, and 109 WRC+ vs. right handed pitching over the last month.

Preferred Stack:Max Muncy ($3800 FD|$4600 DK), Alex Verdugo ($3100 FD|$4100 DK), Cody Bellinger ($4800 FD|$5100 DK), and Joc Pederson ($2600 FD|$4200 DK).

Boston Red Sox Stack

vs. RHP Trent Thornton (TOR): 6.25 Runs

The Red Sox get another cupcake matchup against Thornton. They have faced him twice this season, his first outing in Boston when he allowed only two earned runs and a recent second outing in Toronto in which he allowed seven earned runs. This Red Sox team is hitting very well recently. They are slashing .372 wOBA, .254 ISO, and 129 WRC+. I have the same concern with the Red Sox as with the Dodgers. They played late last night but they do get the benefit at being at home. Trent Thornton has a 4.85 ERA, 4.41 FIP, and 4.75 ERA on the year. He has identical splits, allowing batters to slash to a .332 wOBA, .321 BABIP, and .444 SLG.

Preferred Stack: Rafael Devers ($4100 FD|$5500 DK), Xander Bogaerts ($4400 FD|$5300 DK), Mookie Betts ($4200 FD|$4800 DK), and Christian Vazquez ($2900 FD|$4700 DK).

Honorable Mention

Houston Astros vs. RHP Griffin Canning (LAA): 4.90 Runs

Preferred Stack: Alex Bregman ($4200 FD|$4400 DK), Yordan Alvarez ($4300 FD|$4800 DK), Michael Brantley ($3900 FD|$4000 DK), and Yuli Gurriel ($3800 FD|$4200 DK).

Toronto Blue Jays vs. RHP Rick Porcello (BOS): 4.25 Runs

Preferred Stack: Freddy Galvis ($3200 FD|$4300 DK), Cavan Biggio ($3700 FD|$4500 DK), Eric Sogard ($3300 FD|$4700 DK), and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. ($3800 FD|$5300 DK).

Pitching

RHP Adam Plutko vs. DET: 4.20 Runs
RHP Lucas Giolito vs. KCR: 4.40 Runs
LHP James Paxton vs. TAM: 4.00 Runs

DFS Hitting and MLB Prop Picks from the King for July 2

Joe Musgrove looked better in June and his road numbers reflecta more positive DFS outlook. But he is always prone to a blowup start and couldbe in some danger at Wrigley Field tonight. I would opt for Anthony Rizzo at$4700 on DraftKings and Kyle Schwarber at $4100. Victor Carantini is just $3700if he is in the lineup. Kris Bryant is worth the $4800, as he is hitting .333with two homers and five RBI over the past week. Jayson Heyward (4800) ishitting .304 with three homers and 10 RBI in the past week. I will considerseveral Cubs as DFS GPP plays.

Trent Thornton held down the Red Sox on June 21 in Fenwaybut I do not believe he will do so again at home, seeing Boston again in such ashort time span. Rafael Devers ($4,900) is hitting .556 over the past week andJ.D. Martinez ($4600) is at .529 with two homers and five RBI in that span.Jackie Bradley Jr. is at just $3600 and is hitting .500 over the past week andXander Bogaerts ($4800) is at .357 with two homers and six RBI. Brock Holt is at $3700 if he is in the lineup.

The Rays will be facing Asher Wojciechwoski, who has not appeared in an MLB game since 2017. He has a 6.64 career MLB ERA. Tampa Bay offers some friendly priced DFS options. Willy Adames ($3900) is hitting .308 with three homers and five RBI over the past week. As noted in our Winners and Losers column today, Kevin Kiermaier ($3700) may be starting to heat up as well. Ji-Man Choi is just $3600 and Brandon Lowe is at $4200 for the lefty/righty split. Yandy Diaz ($4400) is always worth consideration when the Rays are in a spot to fare well.

Zack Wheeler allowed six homers in five June starts with apair of two-HR games, so you should expect him to surrender at least twolongballs against the Yankees. Aaron Judge (4,300) , D.J. LeMahieu ($5300) andDidi Gregorius ($3600) have all homered twice in the past week. Judge andGregorious give you nice DFS exposure to a powerful lineup against an erraticstarter. Their prices are friendly after recent long injury layoffs.

Chase Anderson’s first name is fitting because that whatopposing hitters seem to do to him often this year. He only has lasted past 5.1IP once. The Reds hammered him for six runs on June 21 and should “chase” Andersonagain to your DFS delight. Joey Votto is at just $4100 and is hitting .364 overthe past week. Eugenio Suarez is at a nifty $4200 and is hitting .364 withthree HRs and seven RBI over the past week. Jesse Winker gives you a lefty/rightysplit at $4000, and so does Scooter Gennett at $3900.

Jose Suarez had a 5.57 ERA in four starts earlier this yearand now returns from the minors to face the Rangers. Joey Gallo ($5,500) is ishitting .328 with seven homers and 28 RBI vs. LHPs this year, and Elvis Andrus ($4,600)is at .317 with 12 RBI and 13 runs scored. Both hitters are worth spending upfor in DFS tonight.

The Houston/Colorado game is very stackable in DFS tonight from both sides, as German Marquez is way more hittable at home. Houston prospect Jose Urquidy has pitched pretty well in the minors this season, so I lean to the Astros bats in this one. Yuli Gurriel ($4,100) is hitting .350 over the past week and Alex Bregman ($5,000) has hit .348 over that span, as has Josh Reddick ($4,200). You will have to check on the status of Gurriel, though, as an ankle issue caused him to miss Sunday’s game.

Cleveland stacks will also be popular against Jakob Junis.Jason Kipnis ($3600) and Bobby Bradley ($3300) are some DFS salary saversthere.

Minnesota bats will certainly get consideration againstDaniel Mengden, but the park factor may make it better to steer in some otherdirections tonight when the schedule is so full. Nelson Cruz ($4,900) ishitting .435 with three home runs and 10 RBI over the past week.

Dodgers bats will get DFS play against Taylor Clarke, too,as he saw them just a week ago. Cody Bellinger ($5,700) homered against him andAlex Verdugo is a very good play at $4400.

The Padres have been hot and should tear up Tyler Beede.Spend in DFS for Manny Machado at $5200. Eric Hosmer ($4,600) is at .481 withnine RBI over the past week. If Greg Garcia ($4,300) is in the lineup, he hashit .308 over the past week.

Let’s have some Subway Series fun here. In my DFS hitting outlook for the Yankees above, I indicated that Zack Wheeler could give up at least two homers. So he may not last long enough to go over 6.5 strikeouts. I will take the under. Wheeler lasted 4.2 innings last time he faced the Yanks and finished at six Ks. Paxton had his worst start of the year against the Mets last month, lasting only 2.2 innings with one strikeout. I’ll take the under on both in another high scoring Subway Series affair. Sunday’s MLB action will include a couple of DFS studs on the bump in Max Scherzer and Gerrit Cole. But it will also include plenty of pitchers that you can exploit when building your Daily Fantasy Sports lineups.

Catcher – Yasmani Grandal vs. Steven Brault

FanDuel: $3,500 DraftKings: $4,800

The Brewers’ catcher has a .284 ISO versus left-handed pitchers in 2019. Grandal also has a .385 wOBA against lefties. Grandal should take advantage and keep crushing righties in this one while leading your DFS lineup to the green.

DraftKings: $3,000

First Base – Joc Pederson vs. Chi Chi Gonzalez

FanDuel: $4,000

Pederson has a .340 ISO and a .379 wOBA against right-handed pitching this season. And now he faces a below league average pitcher in Coors Field. If playing on DraftKings, the Chicago Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo is your play. Either option should do just fine for your DFS hopes.

Second Base – Mike Moustakas vs. Steven Brault

FanDuel: $3,800 DraftKings: $5,100

The Brewers’ Moustakas has a .315 ISO, a .393 wOBA and a 142 wRC+ versus left-handed pitching in 2019. Look for those numbers to jump up after this meeting with Brault. The lefty is allowing a .374 wOBA against right-handed batters this season. Moustakas is a great DFS option on Sunday.

DraftKings: $2,300

Third Base – Justin Turner vs. Chi Chi Gonzalez

FanDuel: $3,900

The Dodgers third baseman has a .374 wOBA versus right-handed pitching in 2019. If playing on DraftKings, your preferred third base play is the Nationals’ Anthony Rendon. Both third basemen are good DFS options.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

FanDuel: $3,000 DraftKings: $3,500

Shortstop – Trea Turner vs.Jordan Zimmermann

FanDuel: $4,400 DraftKings: $5,300

Zimmermann has a 5.20 xFIP against righties. Turner has a .238 ISO and a .356 wOBA versus right-handed pitchers in 2019. Turner should be plenty good enough for your DFS lineups.

DraftKings: $3,100

Outfield – Cody Bellinger vs. Chi Chi Gonzalez

FanDuel: $5,200 DraftKings:

Bellinger has a .356 ISO and a .457 wOBA versus right-handed pitching. Look for Bellinger to produce big DFS numbers on Sunday.

Outfield – Kyle Schwarber vs. Anthony DeSclafani

FanDuel: $3,300 Draftkings: $4,200

Schwarber has a .244 ISO against right-handed pitching in 2019. He should add excellent value to your DFS entries.

Bobby Bradley

FanDuel: $2,200

DraftKings: $3,600

Top Stacks

Cleveland Indians:

After letting us down yesterday, the Indians’ offense will look to get back in good graces today. And Cleveland should have no problem doing just that with Baltimore’s Gabriel Ynoa taking the bump. The Orioles’ right-hander has a 5.17 SIERA and a 5.54 xFIP this season. With Ynoa allowing 2.38 HR/9 this year, expect us to be much happier with Cleveland and our DFS lineups at the end of the day Sunday.

Chicago Cubs:

A flyball pitcher (41.6%) that allows a lot of hard contact (44.6%) seems like a good place to start a stack. The Reds’ Anthony DeSclafani seems to be the perfect pitcher to attack with your DFS lineups. The Reds’ starter has a 4.44 xFIP and a 4.27 SIERA this season.

Milwaukee Brewers:

The Brewers have crushed left-handed pitching all season. As an offense, Milwaukee has a .210 ISO against lefties. The Pirates’ Steven Brault should be no match for the Brewers. The Pirates’ pitcher is not missing any bats this season with a low 9.8% swinging strike rate. The Brewers should put plenty of balls in play with success on Sunday. Milwaukee is a very suitable stack for DFS purposes today.

Los Angeles Dodgers:

Any time you can get the Dodgers against a righty, you fill up your DFS lineups with Dodger Blue. Los Angles has .216 ISO and a .347 wOBA versus righties this season. The Rockies’ Chi Chi Gonzalez could be in trouble in this one.

DFS Stacks for 6/28: Crack a cold Brew

With both Coors and Miller hosting games that could turn into high-scoring affairs, there might be a lot of cracking cold brews as we watch the numbers turn on the scoreboard and in our DFS lineups.

1.) Los Angeles Dodgers

Antonio Senzatela is no more than a below average pitcher. At Coors this season he holds a 6.21 ERA and has given up five long balls. What doesn’t help his case is that he struggles against lefties. So far this season he has given up a .336 BAA and a .531 SLG. With the likes of Joc Pederson, Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger and Alex Verdugo, good luck. The Dodgers are going to have a field day and carry your DFS lineups.

2.) Minnesota Twins

Carson Fulmer has had a horrible start to his young career. So far while at home in his career he holds a 7.81 ERA with a .390 wOBA. He is able to limit his hard contact, but he gives up massive fly ball rates. With the power hitters of Eddie Rosario, Nelson Cruz, CJ Cron and Jorge Polanco, there is no reason why they won’t chase Fulmer back to the minor leagues on your way to winning big in DFS.

3.) San Diego Padres

What a downfall for Michael Wacha. Someone with such promising talent that just lost it all this year. On the road so far this season he holds a 5.21 ERA. So far this season he has been very reverse splits and cannot get a righty out for the life of him. Against righties he has a .338 BAA and a .619 SLG. Hunter Renfroe, Manny Machado and the young phenom in Tatis Jr. should be the staples of your DFS stack here.

4.) Milwaukee Brewers

How bad are the Pirates regretting this Chris Archer Trade? Holllllllllly. Archer has been dreadful this year, but he has been even worse away from Pittsburgh (8.42 ERA). It seems like Archer has been better against lefties, but the underlying numbers show that he gets hit harder, more fly balls and strikes them out less. This makes me love Yelich, Mouse, Grandal and I also don’t mind throwing in Braun for DFS purposes. This is a very sneaky stack for me as I assume everyone will jump all over Coors.

DFS Hitting Stacks for 6/26: Sock from Sox

Wednesday’s MLB action is split into two DFS slates with half the games during the day and the others at night. Below you will find the top DFS stacks for the early games. Be sure to check out our Win Daily DFS Cheat Sheet later in the day for our top plays and stacks for the main slate.

Boston Red Sox

Whenever the White Sox run Reynaldo Lopez to the bump, there should be interest in stacking against him. The right-hander is basically everything we look for when searching for a pitcher to target against. Lopez is a flyball pitcher with a 48.3% rate. And the flyballs have led to home runs, as Lopez is allowing 2.18 HR/9 this season. On top of the flyballs and home runs, the biggest reason to target Lopez is that he is predictable. The White Sox starter is throwing a four-seam fastball on 57% of his pitches. On that type of pitch, Lopez is allowing a .395 xwOBA and has a 6.58 xFIP.

So of course, we want to get some Red Sox in our DFS lineups for Wednesday. The Boston stack needs to start with Mookie Betts (FanDuel: $4,200 DraftKings: $5,300). The outfielder has the best matchup of any of the Red Sox’s batters. Betts has a .242 ISO versus right-handed pitching while Lopez is allowing a .357 wOBA to right batters. Betts also has a .255 ISO against the four-seam fastball. Some other Boston bats worth considering for your DFS entries are: Rafael Devers (FanDuel: $3,700 DraftKings: $5,300) and Xander Bogaerts (FanDuel: $4,000 DraftKings: $5,100). Both bats have ISOs above .200 versus righties in 2019. And no Boston stack is complete without giving J.D. Martinez (FanDuel: $4,100 DraftKings: $5,000) a look. The outfielder has a .320 ISO versus four-seam fastballs.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Any time the Dodgers’ offense is opposed by a righty, they have to be considered for stacking purposes. Against right-handed pitching this season, Los Angeles has been very successful. They have a .210 ISO and a .345 wOBA against right-handed pitching.

The Diamondbacks’ Taylor Clarke has a 4.90 SIERA and a 5.47 xFIP. On the season he is allowing a 48.3% flyball rate. You can benefit from both sides of the plate against Clarke, but you will prefer to use lefties. The Arizona starter is allowing a .416 wOBA and 2.6 HR/9 to lefty bats.

So, your L.A. building blocks for your DFS lineups should include the likes of: Joc Pederson (FanDuel: $3,100 DraftKings: $4,700), Cody Bellinger (FanDuel: $4,500 DraftKings: $5,800) and Max Muncy (FanDuel: $3,800 DraftKings: $5,000). All three of these Dodgers’ left-handed batters have accumulated at least a .240 ISO versus right-handed pitching and should hit a few balls hard against the Arizona starter in this one.
