Rocket Mortgage Classic Ownership Preview

Rocket Mortgage Classic Ownership Preview

Last week in the DraftKings Milly Maker, the winner had not just two golfers in the 5-8% threshold, he had three, including Mr Gordon, a sub for a sub that replaced a Covid casualty, and was owned by less than 1% of the field. The winner beat the second place finisher by almost 25 points, and both winners in the last two weeks had a total ownership of 13% +. Let’s get into the Rocket Mortgage Classic Ownership Preview.

This weeks field for the Rocket Mortgage Classic has big name players skipping out to ready themselves for the gauntlet of tourneys coming up. Those of you that play regularly will notice that pricing has tightened up considerably, if you see a favorite of yours and think, that salary’s too high, then it probably is. This is a list of golfers I’m considering for Thursday’s tourney.

Wesley Bryan- (6500)  He has made the cut the last two tourneys and he led the field in approach last week, a key metric for the Detroit course.

Adam Hadwin- (7000) Adam took last week off, prior to that he’s been playing consistent good golf. His approach game is strong right now, and both he and Bryan allow relief to pick higher priced targets.

Scott Stallings- (7500) Stallings was the first golfer to pop in my models and has continued thru today. This is a course he can excel on, and he is reasonably priced.

Doc Redman- (8500) Just look at this price tag, about 2000 more than the first tourney three weeks ago, he has proven to be money as far as value and he placed 2nd at this tourney last year.

Kevin Na- (9100) Kevin quietly finished in fifth place last week, carried by his approach and putting, putting can be volatile, again his approach game makes him worthy for this course.

Thanks for reading this Rocket Mortgage Classic Ownership Preview. I will have a more detailed report tomorrow afternoon with updated ownership and picks for the tourney on WinDailySports.com.  Please remember to check out Sia’s live stream on the WinDailySports Twitter Page, and he and all the writers will be available in the Discord chat to answer any questions.

As always, I hope to be with you, in the money.
