The chalky Angels…What to do? I have 50 % exposure to the Angels. Yes, they’re chalky but I do think hey get it done tonight in a solid hitting environment. Curious to see what their ownership is in the FanDuel 15$ Q but regardless exposure to the back end power is important. This includes Bour, Upton, Fletcher and Lucroy.

Rick Porcello’s road splits are target-able to say the least! Porcello owns a 6.37 road ERA with a .315 team BA allowed. Minnesota seems to be a beautiful GPP stack and I don’t hear many talking about them. Porcello also owns a 5.71 June ERA with two homers allowed. Lock in some Minnesota lefties and be confident in them, as the Twins are favored by -140 with a 10 under/over.

Mike Clevinger is off the IL and faces the strikeout kings of the league in Texas. Over the last week, the Rangers have struck out 82 times which leads the league by far. Clevinger is coming back from the injured list but played very well in his two rehab starts in AA and AAA but most importantly his strikeout stuff was present. On a night where pitching is tough, why not lock in the best actual match up on the slate. In other words, if it wasn’t for Clevinger coming off the IL and this was next week, this would be chalk! GPP only.

Matt Olsen is my one-off of the day. Olsen has solid BvP stats against Cashner and Baltimore’s bullpen doesn’t scare me in the least. Olsen is three for five against Cashner with one double and two home runs. And the sooner we get to Baltimore’s leagues worst bullpen the better for Oakland’s left-handed power bat. The A’s are favored by -230 with an 8.5 under/over. If stacking Oakland, Olsen is fine but for your remaining batters, roster RIGHT-HANDED batters as Cashner is exhibiting reverse splits this season. Righties are batting .308 against Cashner with 10 home runs. Lefties are actually hitting much worse with a .202 BA paired with only one homer in 124 at-bats.

Let’s start with the Atlanta Braves. The Braves have been red-hot over the last week scoring 63 runs and averaging a .342 BA as a team. Their 1.015 OPS is through the roof and tonight they face Zack Wheeler who owns a 5.48 road era as well as a 6.17 ERA over the month of June. Wheeler has reverse splits in massive sample sizes. Righties are batting .270 with sevens homers in 200 at-bats. Lefties are only batting .233 with six home runs in 146 at-bats. Last night I called Donaldson and tonight we’re going to stick with these Atlanta righties against a struggling Zack Wheeler and a Mets bullpen who are not impressive to say the least. The Atlanta Braves are favored by -155 with a 9 under/over. I will be starting my lineups tonight by locking in ATL bats for sure!
