NHL Picks
Connor Hellebuyck – 2.5 Goals Allowed – Under
Hellebuyck has back to back really solid outings, allowing just 3 goals combined in his last 2 games against the Coyotes and Sabres. This is a similar match tonight for Hellebuyck as the Kings haven’t really been scoring. Over the last month they’re scoring just 2.5 goals per game. This is a good sport for Hellebuyck to continue his good recent play. He should be one of the top goalies on the night in DFS and I love the Under here from PrizePicks.
Elvis Merzlikins – 3.5 Goals Allowed – Over
We saw the firepower that the Bruins had in their last game as they scored 8 against the New Jersey Devils. Tonight they face off against a Blue Jackets team that gave up more than 4.1 goals per game during the month of March. A lot of that was due to the poor play of Elvis. In back to back games against an Islanders team that doesn’t have nearly as much skill as the Bruins, he gave up 5 and 4 goals. The Bruins have 2 top lines that can score at will. They’ll get their 4 goals tonight. It’s just a matter of whether it’s in the second or third period!
Erik Haula – .5 Points – Over
I highlighted Haula in my Saturday Slapshot article that he’s one of my favorite plays tonight. Skating alongside Pastrnak has really done him wonders. Over his last 5 games, Haula has 2 goals and 6 assists. He stands as good of a chance to get a point as most players tonight. I’m going with the over on the PrizePicks prop tonight.
Anthony Cirelli – .5 Points – Over
As much love as I have the Bruins tonight, I have nearly as much for the Lightning. They’re paying against a Canadiens team that just doesn’t do much on the defensive side of things. Their projected goal total is currently sitting at 4.3 right now. Cirelli should play a big roll in getting the Lightning to that number. He’s averaging a point per game over his last 5, and that includes 2 games with no points. He always has multiple point upside and he should get at least one tonight in a cake matchup.
PrizePicks Summary
There’s going to be a ton of offense to go around tonight. Anytime that both the Flyers and Canadiens are on the slate, it’s a recipe of opposing teams to score, and then score some more.
Whether it’s for PrizePicks or DFS, make sure you’re reading all of our great NHL content.
Good luck and hope to see some green bars tonight!
