Happy Monday and happy November! We get a solid 4 game slate to break down tonight, with a lot of opportunity. Let’s look at the best NHL DFS plays for tonight. Good luck!

Goalies

Jake Oettinger – Dallas Stars: The Stars host the Bruins tonight in what should be a pretty tight contest. Oettinger is a solid goaltender and should see a decent amount of shots, but expect this game to be fairly low-event.

Sergei Bobrovsky – Florida Panthers: Bob has some very, very solid numbers on the young season, and that should continue again tonight. This is a pay-up spot that is lower risk, so keep this one reserved for single entries and cash games.

High Risk Goalie Pick – Thatcher Demko – Vancouver Canucks: This is a high upside, high risk pick, but Demko has been fantastic this season. He gets a date at home with the Oilers who are not having a good start to the season. Edmonton is notoriously worse on the road than they are in their home barn. This has a chance to be your highest scoring goalie on the night, and not a lot of people should go here.

Others to Consider: Ilya Samsonov (TOR)

Lines to Build Around

These NHL DFS lines are considered top plays for the night and can be considered the focal point of your builds. They will be listed by position in the following order: Center/Winger/Winger/Correlating Defenseman (if applicable).

Florida Panthers 1 – Aleksander Barkov/Sam Reinhart/Evan Rodrigues/Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Florida should be at the top of your list tonight, as they get a great matchup with the Blue Jackets. The problem is that everyone should be on them tonight, so don’t be afraid to get creative and throw in Verhaeghe or Tkachuk for Rodrigues. Doing so will create a power play look. Both top lines are in great spots, but on paper, the top line is the choice.

Vancouver Canucks 1 – Elias Pettersson/Andrei Kuzmenko/Ilya Mikheyev/Quinn Hughes: Vancouver is on a tear early on, going 4-0-1 in their last five and dominating their competition. They have a huge test tonight against Edmonton. The Oilers, once you dig in, are not good on defense, and this line has a great chance tonight. Swap Mikheyev for Boeser or Miller to create a power play look if you so choose. Also, Quinn Hughes has been amazing so far this year.

High Risk Lines

These are NHL DFS plays that carry significantly more risk, but could pay off at low ownership. They will be listed by position in the following order: Center/Winger/Winger/Correlating Defenseman (if applicable).

Edmonton Oilers 1 – Connor McDavid/Leon Draisaitl/Zach Hyman: Edmonton’s top line is in play on any given night, and they have a solid matchup against the Miller line for Vancouver tonight. The Oilers are not producing quite the way we have expected them to, and they are super expensive, which puts your whole lineup at risk if they bust. They are worth a couple shots here and there, but no need to go all in.

Tampa Bay Lightning 2 – Nick Paul/Steven Stamkos/Conor Sheary: This line should see the likes of the 2nd and 3rd lines against Toronto in a very nice plus matchup. They should be fairly under the radar, and are worth a shot in your deeper GPPs.

NHL DFS Honorable Mentions: DAL1, TBLPP, TORPP
