1/21 NHL Best Odds

* Nathan MacKinnon to score (+108) – Odds at DraftKings Sportsbook*

DraftKings | FanDuel

Puck Don't Lie" Featuring Nathan MacKinnon Scoring Twice In One Overtime | Barstool Sports

The Betting Game Plan

The Mac attack has been racking up assists but only has one goal to his name so far this season. MacKinnon played shortened minutes in two of his three games played, getting in some extra rest after those scores got out of hand. Expect this Nova Scotian monster to get back on the scoreboard in a rematch of Tuesday’s game, in which the Avalanche come in heavy favorites. After the Kings made things interesting late in the Tuesday’s 3-2 final, this time Colorado will look to not take it’s foot off the gas a second time.

Top Lines “DraftKings”

Philadelphia Flyers – All Lines and Pieces – Recommended Add-On: Erik Gustafsson

Honorable Mention: Ottawa One and Two

Facing off against Boston and Tuukka Rask is certainly never an easy assignment. However, the DraftKings pricing on the Philadelphia Flyers seems a bit too punitive for what should be a relatively close matchup. The Flyers are dealing with a number of injury issues right now, particularly at the center position, where Morgan Frost now joins Sean Couturier on the absentee list. However, the Bruins are far from healthy, just losing Ondrej Kase, in addition to oh yeah, missing their best player in David Pastrnak.

On FanDuel, Philly is regularly priced aside from $3,800 Oskar Lindblom. Otherwise, there are some stark contrasts between the two sites. For example, whereas Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek are $6,900 and $6,400 each on FanDuel, they are $4,500 and $3,200 apiece on DraftKings. Defenseman Erik Gustafsson “$2,700” shares even strength time on the third line, as well as time on the second power play unit with Jakub Voracek. The trio and/or Lindblom are all strong plays/cash game pieces.

Top Line “FanDuel”

Winnipeg Second Line Two Man – Nikolaj Ehlers, Kyle Connor, Recommended Add-On: Neal Pionk

With a bit of a discount on Nikolaj Ehlers, I like the concept of a Winnipeg Two duo on FanDuel. Neal Pionk is cheap and shares even strength time with Ehlers and Kyle Connor, as well as power play time with Ehlers. The continued absence of Patrik Laine should result in additional ice time all around.
