8/24 NHL Game Plan
The Breakdown
As the second round of the playoffs continue, we will have a two game slate on both sites with 5pm ET lock. The slate begins with the first game of the New York Islanders vs. Philadelphia Flyers series as well as the second between the Colorado Avalanche and the Dallas Stars.
The Avs dropped the first game against Dallas but are still favored to win the series and should be able to bounce back here. They will be the chalk of the night. The other game has tons of cheap values pieces that we can weave into our lineups in order to afford some of Colorado’s big guns.

NHL MKF Picks
More/Less
Anton Khudobin – More – 27.5 Saves
Pavel Francouz – Less – 27.5 Saves
While Dallas is not as offensively inept as Arizona, we will go back to an old classic here. Ultimately, the amounts will likely get adjusted mid-series by MKF to make this tougher, as we saw during Colorado’s last series. I expect a Colorado bounce back tonight, where the Avalanche put up a ton of shots and control a lot of possession, limiting opportunities for the Stars.
