8/5 NHL Game Plan
This looks to be a fun slate with two of the top scoring series in play. Edmonton and Chicago have nineteen goals through two games (ten and nine respectively). As well as a surprising one with Nashville and Arizona with thirteen ( seven and six) through two contests.
A potential elimination game between the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers. I am not sure Florida can break the defensive walls the Islanders have put up. Some great DFS plays lie on both sides of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens.
Two great play in matchups between Boston and Tampa Bay and Colorado and Dallas. Let’s dig into the action
The Breakdown
If you are still questioning the leadership and compete level of Edmonton captain Connor McDavid, you can stop now. As some media put that question in text, the human highlight reels the Blackhawks with a hat trick. In a post game interview he then stated that the Edmonton crew that threw hats on the ice were unnecessary and he would have rather just kept playing. Look out! There are also some great looks on the Chicago side that have consistent DFS points.
Arizona and Nashville have some serious value. The trick to this game is picking the right side of the win. Filip Forsberg for Nashville seems safe on both sites as does Clayton Keller and Taylor Hall for Arizona
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens have some serious value. Both goaltenders are worth a look as well as some value on the point

8/5 NHL MKF Pick
Let’s show the tenders some MKF love shall we? Carey Price has been under siege stopping 39 and 35 shots in his last two starts. I see the game script continuing this way in today’s contest. Unlike in Chicago where I see Edmonton getting up early on the Blackhawks and playing a more defensive style game. Take Carey Price over 30.5 saves and Crawford less than 29.5 stops.
A bonus MKF pick. Putting up points is something these three do on the regular. I am willing to take a chance and fire these three up and predict multiple points for at least one of them. With McDavid coming off a hat trick, Braden Point coming off a multi point game and Sidney Crosby still having captain Canada in his title. I have complete faith in more than 3.5 total points for these studs.
