Another successful week last week, and it’s time to dig into week 5. I’m the guy to help you break down your Wide Receiver decisions for your daily fantasy lineups. If you don’t know how I typically play the game, I really like to build my lineups based on ownership. Sometimes we don’t have a clear picture of what that looks like until game day, so keep that in mind. With that being said, sorry my article will be later than the rest, as I do like to wait and see what the field is doing. This is how we can stay with the pack, in cash games, and pivot to those high upside players in GPP style contests. Don’t forget to look at the bottom of this article for other players I really like as well. Let’s dive into NFL DFS Wide Receivers for this week’s main slate.
DEEBO SAMUEL, SF $7,700 DRAFTKINGS $7,300 FANDUEL
Deebo is looking like a place where many will start their lineup construction this week. He’s being consistently targeting each and every week, and I like him better now with Jimmy G there. He’s going to be really popular on both sites this week it looks like, so he’s the first guy on my list. Ownership is looking north of 20% as of now on Friday night.
DRAKE LONDON, ATL $5,900 DRAFTKINGS $6,200 FANDUEL
Like I wrote up London last week, he’s back on my list this week. Still one of the most heavily targeted Wide Receiver in the league, his price is still too cheap. Vegas likes this game from a points perspective and Tampa is looking to put up some points and that means more looks for London. Pitts has already been ruled out, so easy call.
COOPER KUPP, LAR $9,600 DRAFTKINGS $9,500 FANDUEL
I’m starting to rethink the whole Cooper Kupp is too expensive for my lineup build strategy. He is now averaging over 11 targets per game, and he is really hard to pass up, especially in PPR formats. I don’t really need to say much about this guy, the upside it way too high.
CHRIS GODWIN, TB $5,900 DRAFTKINGS $7,000 FANDUEL
With the GOAT projected to go off this week, it’s only right that we mention God Chriswin. He’s been mostly quiet but coming on as of late, and this is the perfect spot for him to have a big game. The weapons are dropping like files here, and now Brate is out, so this will certainly open up more options for Godwin. He should be popular this week.
CHRIS OLAVE, NO $5,700 DRAFTKINGS $6,900 FANDUEL
Let’s get Nerdy for a second, Chris Olave leads his team in fantasy points, targets, air yards, and red zone targets per game . Clearly it looks to me that he is the WR1 in New Orleans, especially with Michael Thomas seemingly out this week. If Thomas sits, Olave will easily be great value on Draftkings, as he’s going to be awarded all the targets in this offense. AK will be popular this week, so by chance he doesn’t get all the scores, this is a great pivot option for your builds.
CURTIS SAMUEL, WAS $5,800 DRAFTKINGS $5,800 FANDUEL
I can’t take it, I wasn’t planning on listing him again this week, but with Dotson out, it’s basically him and McLaurin. So it’s hard to ignore this matchup, and I really don’t like this Washington team in general, but it looks to be a solid play again yet this week.
Honorable Mention: Tyreek Hill, Diggs, AJ Brown, Evans, Davis, Jefferson, Lamb, Cooks
Value Plays: Zay Jones, Shakir, Duvernay, Peoples-Jones, Woods
ROCKER CORE CASH PLAYS: On the Sheet now in research channel
