Week 1 is behind us, and we can start feeling really good about helping the family take down some cash, each and every week. I’m the guy to help you break down your Wide Receiver decisions for your daily fantasy lineups. If you don’t know how I typically play the game, I really like to build my lineups based on ownership. Sometimes we don’t have a clear picture of what that looks like until game day, so keep that in mind. With that being said, sorry my article will be later than the rest, as I do like to wait and see what the field is doing. This is how we can stay with the pack, in cash games, and pivot to those high upside players in GPP style contests. Let’s dive into NFL DFS Wide Receivers for this week’s main slate.
DAVANTE ADAMS, LV $8,600 DRAFTKINGS $8,800 FANDUEL
Did you watch my DraftCast? This is the first guy I am clicking on when I build my lineups for Sunday. Both Cash games and GPPs. Adams will continue to be a target monster giving him the most opportunities of any wide receiver this weekend. 17 targets in week 1, so it looks like Adams and his boyfriend Carr, are right back to their college days, and loving every minute of it. LOCK BUTTON!!!
TYREEK HILL, MIA $7,100 DRAFTKINGS $8,000 FANDUEL
I was hoping from more last week out of Hill, but when I look back at the game, it really wasn’t that bad, plus he should have scored last week. This week we have Miami coming in as underdogs, and when Tyreek’s team is playing from behind, he absolutely smashes. This will be more of a GPP play for me because of his volatility. But my god, this matchup, price, game script, looks too good to be true.
BRANDIN COOKS, HOU $6,000 DRAFTKINGS $6,700 FANDUEL
While all summer people were yelling Let’s Go Brandin, let’s just say, I’m not that excited about this Brandin. He must make my list because he is pulling some ownership this week, and for guys around his price tag, when I am building, I keep coming back to him. He is in a good spot and I have him projected well. However, I think we will see our boy Pierce this week, so I’ll hedge this spot a little bit. He is ok for Cash games this week.
AMON-RA ST. BROWN, DET $6,500 DRAFTKINGS $6,900 FANDUEL
Amon-Ra looks like he picked right back up from where he left off last year, and my friends that is a good sign for us this week. He is not that popular just yet, but ownership moves towards him as we get closer to kick-off. Brown had 12 targets week 1, and this week he has a prime matchup against a defense that allowed the 5th most fantasy points to slot WRs last year, he is a great value this week, GET HIM IN YOUR LINEUPS!!
JAHAN DOTSON, WAS $5,500 DRAFTKINGS $5,500 FANDUEL
I know what you are thinking here… Rocker is casing points… oh contraire mon frere… Last week Dotson took on 89% of the route share, and was clearly Wentz’s favorite target. The Commanders have the 2nd best matchup on paper and the pass volume should be really heavy in this game. I am back on him again this week. Let’s Go Kids!!!
ELIJAH MOORE, NYJ $5,000 DRAFTKINGS $5,800 FANDUEL
Moore is back on my list this week, because the potential is there, the Jets will always be playing from behind, and this kid does have some skills. Last week he only had 49 yards on 7 targets, but, Moore has typically crushed when he gets his volume of targets. The Jets will be forced to air it out this weekend, and that will bold well for Elijah Moore.
