Welcome to the year of the NFL DFS Wide Receivers. I truly believe this statement, and this week we are nothing short of amazing options. I think that building lineups this week you should choose these options at the Wide Receiver and Flex positions. That’s right, I honestly think that a way to keep ahead of the field is drop a WR in that flex spot all year long. DK might be obvious, but you guys know I’m a bit more of a FD player. So I really like the builds this week with a bunch of the value we have on this slate. There are so many good options so lets dive right into it. Let’s dive in to this Week 2 NFL DFS slate and talk some Wide Receivers.
JA’MARR CHASE CIN $5,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,500 FANDUEL
Ja’marr Chase is clearly a guy that can’t catch a ball… LOL, who says that… Clearly not the case. Chase led the Bengals with the most targets in Week 1 and it’s very obvious that Burrow and Chase are locked in. With his price tag still down, he is going to be a nice value for me this week in both cash and GPP contests. I listed him here in the article first, because I just want you to lock him in now, and then continue reading.
KEENAN ALLEN, LAC $7,000 DRAFTKINGS, $7,400 FANDUEL
Keenan Allen had a great week last week, being targeting 13 times and had 9 grabs for 100 yards. He will definitely be popular this week that is for sure and you will definitely need some shares of this Charger offense. Chris Godwin smoked the cowboys last week and, I expect Allen to do the same thing this week. Herbert is going to air it out and this will be a high paced shootout, and the WRs here are going to pay off nicely. The Dallas D is banged up as well, and they are just terrible at defending the wide outs. Great cash option, I have him at 20% FD / 12% DK
CEEDEE LAMB DAL $6,400 DRAFTKINGS, $6,800 FANDUEL
We are going to look at this Dallas/Charger game for some fantasy points. I really think it’s a great place to stack. CeeDee caught 7 of his 15 targets and a touchdown last week. This game has the largest point total on the board, and if we stack the right pieces, it’s going to be a nice week that’s for sure. Look for CeeDee to at least get in the end zone once this week, if not twice.
COOPER KUPP, LAR $6,000 DRAFTKINGS $6,200 FANDUEL
Cooper Kupp is a great play this week, and the Colts D gave up 3 WR touchdowns last week. Insert hysterical laughing gif. Kupp had a great Week 1, being targeting 10 times, and going 7/108/1. He actually almost had 2 touchdowns, that’s worth mentioning. The chemistry looks to be there with Stafford early on, and that’s great news for season long Kupp owners. I expect Kupp to be a popular play this week on both FD and DK. Get him in your lineups.
DK METCALF, SEA $7,600 DRAFTKINGS, $7,000 FANDUEL
DK had a fairly quiet Week 1, if you want to call 4 catches on 5 targets, for 60 yards and a score. Metcalf actually had no targets in the first half of last weeks game, and I expect that to change this week. Metcalf will be featured in this potential shootout in a big way. He is much lower owned on DK than he is on FD this week. The Seahawks point total is 30, so I expect there to be some points scored again here in this matchup vs the Titans. With the potential upside that Metcalf has, throwing him in some GPPs is always a good idea.
Honorable Mention and Value Plays: Hopkins, Diggs, Cooper, AJ Brown, Evans, DeVonta Smith, T. Higgins, R. Moore, Mooney, Mike Williams, N. Collins
