Welcome to week 1 and I can’t believe Football is finally back! I will be around all season to help you narrow down your Wide Receiver decisions for your daily fantasy lineups. If you don’t know how I typically play the game, I really like to build my lineups based on ownership. Sometimes we don’t have a clear picture of what that looks like until game day, so keep that in mind. With that being said, sorry my article will be later than the rest, as I do like to wait and see what the field is doing. This is how we can stay with the pack, in cash games, and pivot to those high upside players in GPP style contests. Don’t forget to look at the bottom of this article for other players I really like as well. Let’s dive into NFL DFS Wide Receivers for this weeks main slate.
Tyreek Hill, MIA $6,800 DRAFTKINGS $7,700 FANDUEL
He’s the first guy I need to list, because if I don’t end up playing him in cash, he’ll certainly be a guy I first pivot to in my GPP lineups this week. It’s the lowest we’ve seen Hill in a long time, and his ceiling is just way too high for his price tag on both sites this week. He’ll be lower owned then expected this week, which is even more enticing in a GPP this week. His receiving prop ranks 7th-highest this week amongst all wide receivers, and he can go off any week.
JAMARR CHASE, CIN $7,100 DRAFTKINGS $8,200 FANDUEL
Chase is a lock for me this week in my cash builds, and I might just lock him into every lineup I have honestly. I think Chase and Burrow break all kinds of records this season. Your other option this week, and maybe each and every week, is Jefferson.
MARQUISE BROWN, ARZ $6,200 DRAFTKINGS $6,900 FANDUEL
I’m looking forward to hopefully watching this game… with the game total right now siting at 53.5, you know this game is bound to have some fireworks. Kansas City gave up on average last year around 35 points per game, and this is a game you’re going to want a piece of for sure. I think Hollywood has a nice day and we’ll see quickly that Murray has a new best friend.
A.J. BROWN, PHI $6,400 DRAFTKINGS $7,100 FANDUEL
AJ Brown sure looks like he’s in a good spot this week and we have heard good things early on with the connection between Hurts and A.J. Brown has averaged 17.5 DraftKings FPG and 14.2 FanDuel FPG in his 27 career games with a total of 47.0 or higher. Detroit did give up the 3rd-most passing FPG (16.9) and has the league’s 8th-worst secondary. If you can’t get Brown, then grab a piece here with Hurts.
MICHAEL PITTMAN, IND $5,500 DRAFTKINGS $7,200 FANDUEL
Michael Pittman, might have been the most hyped Wide Receiver during the off-season. The hype looks to be the real deal, because his receiving prop is the 6th highest on the slate. This is another play hard to pass up, so therefore he will be pulling some ownership this week. There is a serious price mismatch here and he’s almost a must play on Draft Kings for that reason.
ELIJAH MOORE, NYJ $5,100 DRAFTKINGS $6,000 FANDUEL
Flacco is seemingly going to help Moore’s projection, and you know the Jets are going to be playing from behind, so the script is calling for a pass heavy day. I think Moore is a super talented player, and it’s too bad he’s on the Jets. It just feels right that Joe Flacco would win someone a million dollars week 1. Ha!
Honorable Mention: Jefferson, Adams, Lamb, Allen, St. Brown, Mooney, Higgins, Cooks
Value Plays: W. Robinson, Doubs, Toney, Dotson, Collins, Campbell, Palmer
