Top PG Picks:
- Lowry dropped a triple-double in Toronto’s last game that took place two nights ago against Detroit. In 39 minutes of action, he put up 20 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Tonight could get interesting for him as Toronto will be without Norman Powell and could potentially be without Fred Van Vleet one again. Even if just one of those guys misses tonight, it will allow for a large spike in Lowry’s fantasy production. The Wizards also are 30th in the NBA against opposing PG’s.
Kemba Walker – DK: ($8,300)
- Walker has been on a mission for the Celtics and has now racked up at least 45 points on FanDuel over his last three games. Boston is dealing with all kinds of injuries at the moment bodes very well for Kemba tonight. He will aim to exploit this Detroit defense that is currently ranked 27th in the entire NBA at shutting down opposing PG’s. There is a good chance that we see a ceiling game from Walker tonight as he will be the focal point on the offensive end. Look for him to have a floor of 42 fantasy points on tonight’s NBA slate.
Jalen Brunson – DK: (6,500)
- Brunson’s price was at $3,100 on DraftKings just three games ago. That price increase directly correlates with Brunson’s solid run of production though. He has recorded at least 36 points on DraftKings in each of his last three games. He is clearly the new floor general in place of the injured Luka Doncic. The main takeaway here is the three games he has started have all come against solid defensive teams. Boston, Milwaukee, and Miami. Look for him to have a floor of 30 fantasy points in tonight’s NBA contests.
Top SG Picks:
D’Angelo Russell – DK: ($8,300)
At this point in time, the bulk of Russell’s fantasy production comes from purely scoring the basketball. Tonight he gets a very friendly match-up against the high-octane Pelicans. New Orleans is ranked 30th in the NBA against opposing SG’s. It’s no secret that he is the main focal point on the offensive end for the Warriors. Look for him to gather 20+ shots tonight and he should have a floor of 35 points on DraftKings.
Jaylen Brown – DK: ($6,900)
Jaylen Brown has been magnificent for Boston besides the occasional clunker. For example, he has recorded at least 32 points on DraftKings in eight of his last ten games. Tonight Boston will be taking on Detroit and if Gordon Hayward misses this one, Brown will be thrown into the majority of my lineups. Brown’s numbers are also slightly better at home this season as he averages 4 more points per game from a fantasy perspective. Look for him to have a floor of 32 points on DraftKings tonight.
Dennis Schroder – DK: ($6,200)
Schroder has been dynamite even though he comes off the bench for OKC. It’s not often that a bench player receives 30+ minutes of action on a consistent basis. However, that is exactly what Schroder has accomplished. In fact, he has recorded at least 34 points on DraftKings in five out of his last seven games. Tonight he gets an intriguing match-up against Phoenix who is currently ranked 20th in the NBA against opposing SG’s. At the end of the day, Schroder makes for a great value play tonight as his floor should be at least 25 points.
Top SF Picks:
Brandon Ingram – DK: ($8,700)
Ingram has been on fire as of late and has now recorded at least 39 points on DraftKings in each of his last six appearances. On top of that, he will face off against Golden State tonight and they are 27th in the NBA at guarding opposing SF’s. This match-up gives Ingram the potential to see reach a ceiling performance tonight. Earlier in the year when he played Golden State, Ingram dropped 57 points on DraftKings. Golden State is simply an easy team to beat up on this year.
Davis Bertans – DK: ($6,900)
Bertan’s has been a serious bright spot this season for the Wizards who have struggled with their consistency. However, over his last ten games, he’s racked up a whopping 49 made 3-point shots. Washington is currently dealing with all kinds of injuries as well. On a normal night, I would the Wizards given the tough match-up. However, Toronto is down a few of its starters as well so this game should remain competitive. Look for Bertans to have a floor of 26 points on DraftKings tonight.
OG Anunoby – DK: ($5,600)
Anunoby will be thrust into a larger role tonight with Toronto missing several of their key players. They will be without Marc Gasol, Norman Powell, Pascal Siakam, and maybe Fred Van Vleet as well. On the bright side, Anunoby has a cheap price-tag tonight. He has put up at least 22 points on DraftKings in six of his last seven games. With all the injuries added up, it looks like Anunoby is going to get a ton of extra usage. Look for him to have a floor of 28 points on DraftKings tonight.
Derrick Jones Jr. – DK: ($4,700)
Derrick Jones Jr. has been another great sleeper pick over the past week on DFS formats. He isn’t the most flashy player, but he has played at least 28 minutes in each of his last 5 games. In that same span, he has recorded no less than 23 points on DraftKings. For a price tag of $4,700, 25 fantasy points are all you will need to have this pick pay off. Even if this game turns into a blowout, Jones comes off the bench. So he will see healthy allotment of minutes tonight, regardless of game flow.
Top PF Picks:
Serge Ibaka – DK: ($7,400)
Ibaka is a great DFS play on DraftKings tonight because he is finally going to get a healthy amount of minutes. He has been trapped on this depth chart in a role that only allowed him around 20 minutes a night. However, Toronto just got slammed with the injury bug this week. Ibaka saw his playing time jump to 31 minutes last game and he turned in his best fantasy performance of the season with 48.25 points on DraftKings. Expect him to play 30+ minutes tonight against a Washington defense that is also missing three big men of their own.
Carmelo Anthony – DK: ($5,900)
Carmelo has been very consistent as of late and I am not just talking in the scoring department. He has been wonderful on the defensive end and has recorded at least 2 steals in six straight games. On top of that, he has recorded at least 2 blocks in each of his last three outings. Obviously Portland has a plethora of mouths to feed and it is tough to project who will go off on any given night. But for tonight’s sake, Melo has a much cheaper price-tag than the majority of the starters. Look for him to have a floor of 28 points on DraftKings.
Paul Millsap – DK: ($4,600)
Millsap is my sleeper pick at the PF position going into tonight’s slate. He has a very cheap price-tag tonight due to the injuries he has been dealing with. On the plus side, he made his return on the 18th and played 26 minutes; ultimately racking up 34 points on DraftKings. Denver is taking on Minnesota tonight and earlier in the season when these two teams played, Millsap dropped 31 fantasy points on DraftKings.
Top C Picks:
Nikola Jokic – DK: ($9,400)
Jokic has really stepped up his production over the past couple of weeks. He’s now racked up at least 43 points on DraftKings in each of his last 7 outings. He is one of the best passing centers in the entire NBA as he averages 6.7 assists per game. Tonight he draws a great match-up against Minnesota who may be without Karl Anthony Towns tonight. Jokic played Minnesota once this season and was able to rack up 42.5 fantasy points. Look for him to have a floor of 42 fantasy points on DraftKings tonight.
Bam Adebayo – DK: ($8,900)
Adebayo has been filling up the stat sheet with ease over the past couple of weeks. Once he gets more consistency on the offensive side of the ball, Adebayo will become a nightly stud. Nevertheless, he will take on a shaky Knicks unit tonight. New York has been exposed by several centers this season. Embiid, Jokic, and Sabonis put up 45+ fantasy points against them over the past couple of weeks. Even an inconsistent center like Myles Turner put up 29.5 fantasy points against them. Look for Adebayo to have a floor of 40 fantasy points tonight.
Steven Adams – DK: ($6,100)
Steven Adams is a great value play on tonights DraftKings slate. OKC is taking on Phoenix tonight and they will be without Deandre Ayton and potentially Devin Booker. Adams has recorded at least 33 points on DraftKings in eight out of his last ten games. The main reason I’ll be running with Adams tonight is that Phoenix is ranked 27th in the entire NBA against the C position. It’s simply an exploitable match-up and Adams should have a floor of 30 points.
Chris Boucher – DK: ($3,300)
Boucher is my dart play at the center position for tonight’s main slate on DraftKings. Toronto will need to use their bench a lot tonight due to injuries. In the past, Boucher excels when he can see 20+ minutes of court time. His dirt-cheap price will allow you to buy up at other positions and put plenty of power in your lineup. If Boucher puts up just 18 fantasy points tonight, he’ll be an absolute steal in all DFS formats.
