We have another nine games tonight and the chalk isn’t quite as concentrated as it was last night, at least as we stand. The chalk plays are quite as cheap as they were last night but we do have a front-funner as far as a popular team and it appears to be the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Pacers will be without Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, and Domantas Sabonis again tonight and that leaves LeVert as the focal point of the offensive attack with a 24.3% usage rate, 30.3% assist rate, and 0.84 Yahoo points per minute across a 116-minute sample size this season. What is really notable there is the 46.1% true shooting rate in the said sample because it’s 51.7% on the season and LeVert has had games where he exceeds 50 Yahoo points in this scenario. Facing the Orlando Magic when they played last night and rank 23rd in defensive rating is a recipe for a big game and the salary didn’t move for LeVert, making him too cheap for the upside and a great place to start with a chalky guard.

Forward – Cedi Osman, Cleveland Cavaliers – $12
This doesn’t surprise me that much because forward has generally been terrible unless you’re plugging in an All-Star so a lot of nights on Yahoo, the field prefers to punt small forward when it makes sense. We know the Cavs will be without point guard Darius Garland tonight, as they were last game and Osman played 37 minutes and dished 12 assists. Listen, he’s not going to be the most fun name you ever click on but he’s just $12 and he’s not going to leave the court. Throw in the fact that he’s facing the Houston Rockets and now you have something. Houston is still dead last in defensive rating and first in pace, meaning a massive pace-up spot for Osman and the Cavs who are 24th. Pair Osman with Isaiah Jackson from Indiana, spend $30 total on two forward spots and build 25% of your cash game lineups with no need to look back.
Honorable Mention – Bojan Bogdanovic, Jayson Tatum
Center – Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers – $28
Not only does the Rockets matchup boast everything we talked about for Osman, but they have been one of the worst teams defending the paint on the season. They are dead last in points allowed in the paint and 26th in rebounds allowed and Allen has been a monster in the paint for Cleveland all season long. He leads the league in paint touches per game at 12.4, he’s third in points per game in the paint at 12, and he averages over 18 rebound chances per contest. This is one of the best spots for a player like Allen to have and the fact he’s under $30 on Yahoo is a gift.
