NBA DFS Core Plays
Bradley Beal (10,400)
Beal is by far my favorite play on the slate. His price is high, therefor it should keep ownership low in comparison to James and Davis as the fields pay up option. He’s had four games in a row over 50 fantasy points and 2 over 70 in that span. Golden State is bad against shooting guards and this is a game that can stay close.
Damian Lee (5,600)
As good as Bradley Beal is at basketball, his strong suit is not defense and can be taken advantage of. Lee is on the cheaper side of middle priced and gets one of the best match-ups on this slate. At 5,600, he only needs 32 fantasy points to pay off his price tag. A number he’s hit in 3 of his last 4 games.
John Henson (3,800)
Henson is my favorite dart throw if he starts today. He’s been seeing around 20 minutes a game and is one of the few sub 4k plays with upside today. In games where he got at least 15 minutes, Henson has shown a floor of 13 fantasy points with an upside of 33. Roll the dice!
Christian Wood (7,500)
Wood is a fantasy point per minute monster. He’s scored at least 35 fantasy points in 7 of his last 8 games. During that time he’s flashed a ceiling of 45 and hit it 3 times. A little under priced for recent performances, Wood is a fantastic play.

Slate Thoughts
I wasn’t going to play this slate before i saw how easy the contrarian build would be. Stacking Washington and Golden State with your centerpiece being Beal is the way to go. Outside of Beal and Henson, I will be focusing on players between 5-8k that have a high ceiling. Make sure you don’t fall into the chalk trap on such a small slate. Raw points rules all on smaller slates, so make sure most of your players also have a high floor.
