My NBA DFS core plays are the basis of your teams for cash and GPP. For a cash lineup, you will fill out your roster with other starters and players with safe minutes. For tournaments, you will use 1 or 2 leverage plays mixed in with other cash style players. Good luck!
NBA DFS Core:
Elfrid Payton (5500)
Payton has had 4 straight games of 30 plus fantasy points with a ceiling of 41 on January 10. Even with the return of Irving, the Nets have been one of the worst teams in the league against point guards. The affordable price lets you fit in other studs like Beal and Collins as well.
Bradley Beal (8,200)
Back to back, 50 point fantasy games for Beal has his price on the rise. 8,200 still isn’t high enough and attacking the Hawks has worked out well this year.
Attacking the Wizards has been equally as successful this season. Except for you Tristan Thompson. Collins is always either under-priced or severely overpriced. At this 8k price tag, we want to play him. Wizards give up rebounds and 3 pointers as much as anyone.
Dillon Brooks (5,500)
Another 5,500 guard to round out our lineups. Brooks has been on fire with 6 of his last 8 games over 30 points. In those 8 games, he topped 40 fantasy points 3 times. Against the Suns today, it’s likely to see that again.

NBA DFS Slate Thoughts
Center is very thin even on this 6 game slate. Getting your center-right might make or break your lineup. Going one of 2 ways will be my preferred strategy, either paying down with Mitch Robinson or going for a mid-priced guy with upside. Vucavic, Whiteside, and Valanciunas fit my requirements. Today is another day where I prefer a balanced lineup with no one over 10k or under 4k. Zion Williamson interests me a lot in this match up. One of my favorite statistics this year that many people aren’t aware of is that Boston gives up an absurd amount of 3 point shots to Centers.
