My NBA DFS core plays are the basis of your teams for cash and GPP. For a cash lineup, you will fill out your roster with other starters and players with safe minutes. For tournaments, you will use 1 or 2 leverage plays mixed in with other cash style players. Good luck!

NBA DFS Core
Goran Dragic (5,900)
Dragic gets one of the best matchups on the board. Guards against Portland have been a jackpot of fantasy points all season and allow one of the best 3 point conversion rates. With Butler and Herro out, Dragic will soak up some extra usage and minutes and easily pay off his price tag.
Paul George (8,100)
George started at shooting guard last night and will be a staple in lineups if he does again. Cleveland is one of the worst teams in the league against guards, especially shooting guards. They are third-worst in the league at 3 point conversion rate and give up the second-most fantasy points per game.
Washington is the worst team in the league against 3 point shots and Jaren Jackson takes a lot. He’s averaged five 3 point attempts per game over his last 4 games and is my favorite Memphis piece.
Joel Embiid (8,200)
Embiid is “soft”. Shaq was correct, but at 8,200 going against Chicago who boasts the 4th worst rebound rate and gives up the third-most blocks in the league, he’s a must.
NBA DFS Best Values
Ish Smith (5,000)
Ish played 29 minutes in his first game with Thomas, scoring 34.5 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets to face Memphis, the fifth-worst team in the league at allowing assists.
Rui Hachimura (4,800)
Hachimura has scored 20 and 30 fantasy points in his first 2 games back, getting up to 28 minutes. Memphis has been in the bottom 10 worst teams against Centers, where Rui gets some run and play at the 6th fastest pace.
Slate Thoughts
The chalk seems pretty straight forward tonight and I’m not fading it. George with no Leonard is a great play and Embiid at his low price tag is a must too. I’m going to try to find mid-range pivots instead. John Collins, Julius Randle, and Bam Adebayo are good options with that strategy in mind.
