NBA DFS Core
Embiid is cheap and still has the ceiling of a 10k player. The matchup isn’t the best but at this price, the risk is far less. On a slate with such few quality centers available, this is where most of my builds start.
Gordon Hayward (6,900)
Houston plays at one of the fastest paces in the league. With Tucker playing center, forwards have feasted. Hayward and Tatum are both good plays but the cheaper one fits most builds better.
Rui Hachimura (4,800)
Hachimura plays power forward and center, both of the Bull’s weak spots. Since coming back from injury he’s seen 25 plus minutes in 3 of 4 games and is back to his old self. The Bulls are top ten worst in rebounds, blocks and steals making Hachimura a great option.
Zach Lavine (8,200)
The Bulls are by far the most attractive team on this slate. All players with major roles are in play. Saying that Lavine is the best of the bunch. He shoots a ton, rebounds, and dishes out plenty of assists. t this price, he’s an elite option.
NBA DFS Values
Coby White (4,000)
Lavine is the top play, but White is the best value. With Dunn injured, he should see at least 25 minutes against a team that ranks bottom 10 in assists, 3 pointers, rebounds, and points scored. White also leverages Satoranksy ownership.
JJ Redick (4,500)
Redick is a great play if Ingram misses. With Ingram off the court, Redick averages 1.15 fantasy points per minute and should see an increased role. Portland has a swiss cheese defense and is a spot to attack.
Another Bull made the list in Hutchison. He’s gotten 25 plus minutes in the games that Dunn has missed. As stated in the White section, the Wizards are ranked at the bottom in every major category. Getting pieces at low ownership in this matchup is a must in GPPs.
Slate Thoughts
This slate is pretty straight forward to me. Builds should start with Embiid and Lavine and then have 2-3 value plays from Chicago or Washington added in. My favorite Lavine leverage is Damian Lilliard. a few mid-priced forwards should then be added to complete my favorite GPP build for tonight.
