In this column, I’ll highlight five NBA DFS 2/7 difference-making playsin GPPs, from studs with a huge upside to value plays who could hit 8x-10x.

NBA DFS 2/7 — PG
Kendrick Nunn, MIA (@ SAC) – DK $4,800
Plenty ofvalue has opened up for the Heat with Jimmy Butler’s injury, and since TylerHerro is also out, we can look at Nunn and Goran Dragic. Nunn is a tad cheaperand has just as much upside (45-50 DK points) in a solid matchup against a teamthat’s vulnerable to combo guards, wings and power bigs. Jalen Brunson remainsan option with starter minutes and a heavy workload and the game stackcounterpart is De’Aaron Fox.

NBA DFS 2/7 — SG
Tim Hardaway, DAL (@ WAS) – DK $5,200
It’s a smash spot for Hardaway against the Wizards and while we know he’s not a reliable fantasy producer, he does have his outbursts and the upside is worth the investment in GPPs. I won’t have 100 percent ownership, but I’ll be ahead of the field on him and finding room for him in one of the five positions he’s eligible on DK (SG/SF/F/G/UTIL). The spends here are Devin Booker (who’s way cheaper than usual because of his recent quiet spell) and Utah guard Donovan Mitchell, who’s now under $7K. Bradley Beal is a must in-game stacks, and while I’m a little intimidated by his lofty price, we need to be fearless if we’re targeting the DAL-WAS game.

NBA DFS 2/7 — SF
Buddy Hield, SAC (vs. MIA) – DK $5,700
Since he’s moved to the bench, Hield’s scoring struggles have stopped – and he even turned in a 56-point DK outburst against the T-Wolves last week. If you’re not spending up on Jayson Tatum (Gordon Hayward may sit) or the Boston value play in Grant Williams, Hield is underpriced vs. MIA, especially given the fact that Butler is out. Kelly Oubre is in a good spot (I wouldn’t play with both Booker and DeAndre Ayton), and Derrick Jones, Jr. is a solid value option in-game stacks or as a one-off.

NBA DFS 2/7 — PF
Christian Wood, DET (@ OKC) – DK $6,000
The price has increased inthe wake of the Andre Drummond blockbuster, but Wood still has his eyes set onmaking 7x value or more in this matchup, which could be his coming out party asDetroit’s new main big. Wood is eligible at multiple spots (PF/C/F/UTIL), but asyou’ll see when we discuss centers, I want to reserve the C and UTL spots forguys who aren’t eligible at F. If Kristaps Porzingis (broken nose) sits, wecould get some good value from Maxi Kleber, and if you’re stacking DET-OKC (notmy favorite angle), Danilo Gallinari is the only opposing PF I like.

NBA DFS 2/7 — C
Bam Adebayo, MIA (@ SAC) – DK $8,200
Bam doesn’t have much to contend with facing the Kings, andhe and the rest of the Heat starters pick up some usage in the absence ofButler. There’s a lot of intriguing centers to pay up for, including DeAndreAyton (who’s 6-11 with a 7-6 wingspan) against a Houston team that can’t defendbigs, Joel Embiid (we’ll keep an eye on his status in the back-to-back) and RudyGobert, who’s just $7,700 and has a great matchup at home vs. Portland. Therecould be some value plays opening up as we learn who’s starting, but Bam andthe others seem like great spends on this slate.
