Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday’s Xfinity Series race from Richmond Raceway! Just like the race last night, we have 250 laps in this race meaning we have the same 187.5 dominator points in this race. We saw both Justin Allgaier ($9,900) and Justin Haley ($9,400) dominate the end of this race and we should expect the same from these drivers on Saturday. They are both extremely underpriced and will be popular. They are a must-play for cash games for me and SE tournaments. I won’t be breaking them down further in this article since they are the clear top plays and I broke them both down for Fridays race in that article.
NASCAR DFS: Dominators
Austin Cindric ($11,700)
Starting Position: 12th
Cindric is the highest priced driver and I believe he goes over looked with everyone focused on using both Allgaier and Haley. Cindric hasn’t won a race in almost a month (Daytona RC 8/15) and I think he is due. He finished 4th and led 68 laps on Friday night and with him starting 12th we could get a potential 75 laps led and win at very little ownership. There will be so much chalk on this slate like is typical with back to back races and I want to use Cindric to try and differentiate myself from the field.
Ross Chastain ($10,800)
Starting Position: 11th
Chastain is in the same spot as Cindric for me. He was fast last night, led a bunch of laps (39) and has a car that can win this race, or come home with at worst another top 5 finish. One thing I typically hate, but love about Chastain today is his $1,300 price JUMP from last night’s race. I think this keeps people off him and trying to fit in more mid tier drivers with Allgaier and Haley. I still love those two for cash today, but if you are playing large field GPP’s you need to be different and using a Cindric/Chastain combo is how I want to be different today.
Other Options: Harrison Burton ($10,500), Noah Gragson ($10,200), Brandon Jones ($9,700)
NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier
I want to focus the mid tier on three drivers who all performed really well on Friday night and should give you some good performances again on Saturday
First, Michael Annett ($8,900) will be starting 9th on Saturday coming off a 7th place finish on Friday. Annett’s 7th place finish was his 12th top 10 finish in his last 13 races. Annett is the epitome of consistency and gets little to no love in DFS, from myself included, but should. In his last 10 races Annett has scored over 30 points in 8 of those races.
Next on my mid tier list is Kaz Grala ($8,700) who starts from P7 on Saturday. Grala has been great in his 3 races for RCR in the #21 Chevy this season. I think Grala picks up his 3rd top 10 this season and very low ownership today.
Lastly, Brett Moffitt ($8,500) starts 10th after is 6th place finish on Friday night. After starting 20th on Friday, Moffitt spent the majority of the race inside the top 10 and I wouldn’t count Moffitt out for a surprise top 5 finish in his THIRD race in as many days.
NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings
- Jeremy Clements – $7,400 – P17
- Stephen Leicht – $4,700 – P35/Timmy Hill – $7,300 – P36 – I believe one of these two will start and park today. Hill did last night, but I cannot confirm which is today. I will post in discord if I find out.
- Colby Howard – $5,700 – P29
- Mason Massey – $6,800 – P28
- Vinnie Miller – $6,400 – P34
- BJ McLeod – $6,500 – P26
- Chad Finchum – $6,100 – P33
- Jesse Little – $6,200 – P24
- Josh Williams – $6,600 – P19
