Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for Saturday night’s Xfinity Series race from Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We have a 200 lap race on Saturday night, which means dominator points will be at a premium. I have two drivers in mind who I think can dominate this race and I will be playing them together a good amount on Saturday. Both Chase Briscoe ($11,600) and Austin Cindric ($11,300) have been outstanding at 1.5 mile tracks this season and should have no problem repeating their success here in Vegas.
NASCAR DFS: Dominators
Chase Briscoe ($11,600)
Starting Position: 1st
Chase Briscoe starts on the pole and will likely be fighting with Cindric for the lead on lap 1. Briscoe won this race in the Spring and will have a good chance to sweep here. In this race earlier this season, Briscoe led 89 laps which is what we want to see again on Saturday.
Austin Cinrdic ($11,300)
Starting Position: 2nd
If Briscoe doesn’t get the win on Saturday, I think it will be Cindric who gets it done. Cindric finished second behind Briscoe back in February here at Vegas. In that race, Cindric led 39 laps after starting on the pole, and in his last ten races as 1.5 mile tracks he averaged over 60 laps led.
If you don’t want to use that much salary on the top 2 guys I mentioned, I really like pairing one of them up with local boy, Noah Gragson ($10,300). Using Gragson will save you at least $1K and should free up enough salary to make a more balanced lineup if you choose to go that way.
Other Options: Justin Allgaier ($10,600)
NASCAR DFS: Mid Tier
Brandon Jones ($9,400)
Starting Position: 7th
Jones is another driver who has the potential to pick up some dominator points and win this race. If he doesn’t win, Jones will at least be able to offer you some upside starting in P7. In seven races here, Jones has five top 10 finishes including his 6th place finish here in February.
Michael Annett ($8,200)
Starting Position: 13th
Michael Annett is priced too low for his starting position and upside here on Saturday. In his last 15 races, Annett quietly has 13 top 10 finishes. I know I wrote this similar stat last week and Annett was involved in an early race wreck and finished 31st. That is less likely to happen atVegas and a top 5 is not out of the question here as well.
Other Options: Myatt Snider ($9,100) – Remember that Snider is back in the #93 car, not the RCR 21. Brett Moffitt ($8,800), Ryan Sieg ($8,100)
NASCAR DFS: Value Tier Rankings
- Colby Howard – $5,000 – P25
- Austin Hill – $6,700 – P29
- Jesse Hill – $5,400 – P24
- Vinnie Miller – $6,900 – P35
- Bayley Currey – $5,300 – P31
- Brandon Brown – $7,300 – P11
- BJ McLeod – $5,800 – P28
- Kyle Weatherman – $6,000 – P33
