Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for the NASCAR Cup Series. Below you will find my rankings for the drivers in this race.
A Group: Drivers I will have the most exposure to and are high-priority
B Group: This group is drivers I feel have a high upside and are great filler pieces to pair with the A Group
C Group: The drivers in this tier are risky but could still be optimal. This group should be used in GPP’s
F Group: These drivers are on my do not play list
(Starting position in parenthesis)
Drivers in BOLD are potential dominators

*** NOTES ***
Texas races are usually terrible. This race should be no different. It will be HOT in Fort Worth today and because of this, I think there could be a fair amount of carnage. All three of Larson, Hamlin, and Byron had a lot of speed in practice, have some good PD upside, and have the potential to lead laps. I believe both Buescher and Keselowski have the potential to push Wallace for the lead early and be the early dominators. There is some solid value in this race which makes paying up for the expensive $10K+ drivers. If there is carnage in this race, guys like Zane Smith and JJ Yeley could be the highest-scoring of the value drivers today.
