Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for the NASCAR Cup Series. Below you will find my rankings for the drivers in this race.
A Group: Drivers I will have the most exposure to and are high-priority
B Group: This group is drivers I feel have a high upside and are great filler pieces to pair with the A Group
C Group: The drivers in this tier are risky but could still be optimal. This group should be used in GPP’s
F Group: These drivers are on my do not play list
(Starting position in parenthesis)
Drivers in BOLD are potential dominators

DFS NASCAR – Driver Notes
- This is another short-track race which means we will need dominators. There are 400 laps today, so rostering at least 2 dominators is key.
- Both Bell and Byron are in italics because I feel they could dominate later in the race, but starting back where they do it’s risky to rely on them as one of your dominators.
- Hamlin and Larson are the two best drivers for this track type. After them, I think Elliot and Truex are the next best plays.
- While Chevy and Toyota have dominated the short tracks this season, I think SHR has some fast cars and could compete today. All four drivers (Berry, Gragson, Briscoe, and Preece) will be lower-owned today and make for great GPP plays.
- For the first time doing this, I have two drivers tied for a spot in the rankings. I couldn’t separate Suarez and Jones so I decided to rank them both. Between salary and starting position they both project the same, so it comes down to what salary you can fit.
NASCAR Best Bets:
(best odds in parenthesis)
Martin Truex Jr. (+700 – FD/Caesars)
Chase Elliott (+1200 – FD)
Josh Berry Top 5 (+400 – DK)
Chevrolet Winning Manufacturer (+200 – FD)
Hamlin and Larson are the odds-on favorites to win and they are my favorites as well. I prefer them over the drivers above, but it’s NASCAR, and anyone can win, so both Elliott and Truex are great bets at their odds.
Spicey Pick:
Bubba Wallace (+2500 – Caesars)
Matchup Bets:
Both of these are on DK
Martin Truex Jr. (+130) vs Denny Hamlin
Ryan Blaney vs Christopher Bell (+120)
