In this article, I will break down each position with my top stud, middle tier, and value plays for this NBA DFS slate. I will be referring to DraftKings on pricing. Most picks are for GPP/Tournaments, some would also be viable for cash games.
Tonight, we have a large ten-game NBA slate that sees Atlanta go to Washington with a massive total of 245. We have six of the top seven fastest-paced teams on tonight’s slate. Again, injuries may be the talk of the slate as the highest-priced player Luka Doncic is listed as questionable. We have all sorts of players that are already ruled out and some that are questionable, so make sure you tune into the Discord chat rooms as myself and the rest of the WinDaily staff breaks down all injury news that surfaces and further evaluate our favorite plays.

Point Guard
TraeYoung – Stud – ($9,900)
The Hawks got smacked last time out against Memphis and Trae was terrible to go along with that. He gets one of the best bounce-back spots here facing Washington who is the fifth-fastest team in the NBA this season and ranks dead last in defensive efficiency throughout the course of the season. Last game Young squared off with the Wizards he scored 45 real points.
Markelle Fultz – Mid-tier – ($5,400)
Evan Fournier is currently listed as doubtful and with Fournier, Isaac, and Aminu off the floor Fultz has a usage rate or 26.7 percent, and that’s up six percent from his usage with Fournier on the floor. He gets the best matchup you could ever ask for, as he is facing the Wolves who have given up the most fantasy points to point guards over the last month, they are the fastest-paced team in the NBA over the last ten games and rank dead last in defensive efficiency over their last ten games.
TjMcConnell – Value – ($4,000)
A lot of the injury news for tonight’s NBA slate revolves around Indiana, as Brogdon is doubtful, Tj Warren and Oladipo are questionable. If two of the above players are out, I love McConnell here with tons of minutes at guard. He played well last game against Milwaukee scoring 30 fantasy points in 30 minutes, it wouldn’t surprise me if he draws the start after that performance. With only taking Brogdon off the floor McConnell has seen the second-most minutes on the team.
Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal – Stud – ($10,400)
Beal has been a monster as of late, as he has only scored under 50 fantasy points one time in his last seven games. In those same seven games, Beal’s lowest minute total is 35. He is in a smash spot against the Hawks, who have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to shooting guards this season, they are the sixth fastest team in the NBA this season and are the third-worst defensive efficient team.
Terrance Ross – Mid-tier – ($5,700)
Again, Fournier is listed as doubtful and I want to attack the Wolves until they can figure out how to play defense. Ross has four straight games of over 30 fantasy points and he scored over 50 fantasy points in one of those games against this same Wolves squad. With Fournier out Ross has the second-highest usage on the team of 27.1 percent and as I said above the Wolves are literally the best matchup in the NBA across the board over the last ten games.
Delon Wright – Value – ($4,200)
If Luka sits is the only way that I’m on Wright because in Luka’s absence Wright sees the most minutes of anyone on the team. With Brunson already being ruled out, JJ Barea, Finney-Smith and Tim Hardaway are also questionable, Wright should see most of the point guard minutes if Luka is out. He faces Memphis as well who is the seventh-fastest team in the NBA. You’re going to need to watch injury news for this one because Doncic needs to sit for me to make this selection.
Small Forward
Khris Middleton – Stud – ($6,800)
This is the lowest price we’ve had Middleton in over a month and a half.He draws a tough matchup against the Lakers, but this is just simply too cheap.I’ll put this into perspective, Middleton has scored at least 30 fantasy pointsin every game except for one over his past 15 games. I was on Middleton lastgame and now his price went even lower so you can bet I’ll be on him for tonight’sNBA slate.
Mikal Bridges – Mid-tier – ($5,200)
Phoenix is another team that has a plethora of injuries, as four players are ruled out or doubtful and two of those players playing at small forward. Bridges’ lowest minute total is 36 minutes over his past four games. He faces Portland who is the fourth-worst team in the NBA in terms of defensive efficiency. I like Bridges in what should be a faster high scoring game.
Cam Reddish – Value – ($4,100)
Reddish was in the starting lineup before he got injured but with Dedmond expected to play, I think that may change. Regardless of this price, I like Reddish going against a Washington team that is dead last in defensive efficiency in the NBA and fifth fastest in pace. Reddish has played the Wizards twice this season and is averaging 23 fantasy points in those two games.
Power Forward
Julius Randle – Stud – ($7,600)
If Robinson sits out another game, I like Julius Randle again., I like him because then his minutes would be safe. He has also been on a tear lately as he has scored at least 40 fantasy points in four straight games and his price has still gone down albeit only $100. Taking a player away from the Knicks frontcourt is great due to their crowded frontcourt and everyone playing some minutes.
Juancho Hernangomez – Mid-tier – ($5,500)
Over the past month, Orlando has given up the second-most fantasy points to power forwards in the NBA. Hernangomez hasn’t scored under 26 fantasy points in five straight games, in one of those games against this same Magic team he went off for over 50 fantasy points.
Cheick Diallo– Value – ($3,200)
When given the minutes Diallo produces and tonight, he should get a solid chunk of minutes possibly start over Baynes. Phoenix is shaping up to only have three guys available in the frontcourt so I will be taking advantage of those open minutes. Portland has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to power forwards and the sixth-most fantasy points to center in the NBA this season. Saric and Baynes are both serious considerations due to these open minutes. This is a tournament play only.
Center
Hassan Whiteside – Stud – ($9,100)
I’m just going to be clear to start, I love Vucevic as well on tonight’sNBA slate, I just try not to name everyone from the same team especially on a slatethis big. I always like Whiteside better with Lillard because of the pick androll game those two play together and it showed last game as Whiteside scored24 points and 55 fantasy points. Phoenix is also likely to be without Ayton sothis should be a good matchup no matter who starts at center for Phoenix.
Rui Hachimura – Mid-tier – ($5,300)
Attacking Atlanta’s frontcourt is smart as they have given up the second-most fantasy points to power forwards and the most fantasy points to centers this NBA season. Atlanta is the sixth fastest team this season and ranks the third-worst team defensively. Hachimura and Bertans play the most minutes in the Washington frontcourt so those are the two guys I would focus on.
Jarret Allen – Value – ($4,800)
I want to be clear that if Dedmond is in the starting lineup I love him as a value play. Jarret Allen has played the Spurs once already this season and scored 48 fantasy points in that game. I like Allen due to the Spurs banged up frontcourt with no Aldridge or Poeltl. Allen was around this same price two weeks ago and rattled off 35 and 42 fantasy point performances, this price is too cheap.
This huge ten-game NBA slate is looking to be a high scoring one with, fast-paced teams and injuries creating value to spend up. One game everyone is going to be targeting is Atlanta at Washington, I also like Orlando at Minnesota and Portland at Phoenix. We have lots of injuries to watch on this slate as Dallas has several players questionable including Luka Doncic. Indiana and Phoenix are two other teams with a variety of injuries. You’re going to need to keep track of all these injuries, so join me and the rest of the WinDaily staff in the Discord chat rooms as we discuss any injury news that comes through and dig deeper into our favorite plays of the night.
