Lone Tree Classic Showdown Slate
Outlaw Golf Tour DFS continues with the Lone Tree Classic Showdown, here is Steven Polardi’s breakdown.
Tomorrow DraftKings has a $40k daily contest with a 10.00 entry fee. The current leader is J. Sohn, salary 7100 who shot lights out today. Leaders tend to protect their leads, instead of expanding them, I find this to be even more prevalent in the Outlaw series, where inexperienced players are thrust into the limelight. Two other players doing well are D. Hudson (salary 8100) and B. Bauman(salary 7600). Normally you would target two players like this, their ownership is an issue, both at +25% and most likely ownership will be moving up for tomorrow’s contest.
Golfers I have targeted for tomorrow
B. Allen (today’s salary 7200) Through 17 Allen has 4 birdies and 1 bogey, with ownership at 18% it should remain or drop with other options available.
S. Gillis(today’s salary 7900) Gillis has 4 birdies, 1 bogey and a double.he did string 3 birdies together for the bonus, at 12% ownership it should drop tomorrow and he has the game to create value.
J. Nichols (today’s salary 7000) Nichols has 4 birdies, 2 bogeys and a double. At 10% ownership this should drop, as well as salary, making him a solid 2nd day target.
Z. Gaugert (today’s salary 6600) Gaugert has 4 birdies and two bogies thru 15 today at ownership of 9%. His salary will probably rise slightly, which should drop his 9 % ownership.
*A. Lobeck* (today’s salary 6700) This is the most fascinating and scariest player out today. He has 7 birdies, and currently sits at -3, which means he is all over the course. At 4% ownership, everyone who rostered him is near the top of the leaderboard. If his salary and ownership remain stable, you can’t help but want to plug him into your lineup, that being said, lookout, he could shoot a 59 tomorrow or an 89, that’s the reason for the asterisk.
You will notice I have picked golfers with salary’s from 7K + to 6K +. These are typically the harder players to handicap, I feel with their play today and projected ownership they can help get you to the money. Lobeck is strictly a coin flip, I wouldn’t roster him in more than one or two lineups if you’re playing multi entry.
Good luck tomorrow, and I hope to be there with you, in the money.
