UFC Fight Island 6.
Ortega vs. The Korean Zombie
We have an action-packed UFC fight card tonight! UFC Fight Island 6, Ortega vs. The Korean Zombie starts with six dynamic preliminary fights and follows up with five excellent fights on the main menu at Fight Island, Abu Dhabi. This is a fight card with 22 fighters scheduled to go to battle. I cannot wait to watch this massive eleven fight fiasco. It is going to be epic!
In my UFC DFS lineups, I will have 100% exposure to the Main Event. The Main Event is a five-round fight. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. My Main Event target will be a top play. Now let’s get ready to make some money!
Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Fight Island 6, Ortega vs. The Korean Zombie.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):
Fares Ziam +115 (DK 7900) (FD $15) vs. Jamie Mullarkey -145 (DK 8300) (FD $15).
This fight between Ziam and Mullarkey, in my opinion, is a coinflip fight. Both fighters have four wins and one loss in their last five fights. The difference in this fight is going to be the toughness of the fighter. I believe that Ziam is going to outlast Mullarkey and possibly be able to finish him in the later stage of the battle. Both of these fighters tend to go blow for blow with no mercy.
Ziam will catch Mullarkey with everything he has in the tank, and Mullarkey tends to leave himself open to easy punishment. The public is currently on Mullarkey, but I see this fight ending differently. I will side with Ziam being able to end this fight late in the third, where his stamina will come into play.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Fares Ziam +115 (DK 7900) (FD $15). THIRD-ROUND TKO.
MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET:
Gillian Robertson -240 (DK 8700) (FD $18) vs. Poliana Botelho +200 (DK 7500) (FD $12)
Gillian Robertson (-240) is squaring off against Poliana Botelho. She has an overall record of eight wins and four losses in her career. Botelho has a record of eight wins and two losses in her career and is coming in as an overwhelming underdog at +200. Botelho will have a three-inch height advantage and a four-inch reach advantage, but that will be irrelevant if she can not stay on her feet. Poliana tends to get taken down very easily. Her takedown defense is mediocre at best, and that is where Robertson will shine.
Robertson has an outstanding takedown accuracy and is going to use every possible opportunity she is given. Botelho will be caught completely off guard in this fight and should be on her back and submitted very quickly. I am going to predict that Robertson wins this fight in the first round via submission.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Gillian Robertson -240 (DK 8700) (FD $18) FIRST-ROUND SUBMISSION.
MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET:
Gadzhimurad Antigulov +310 (DK 7100) (FD $10) vs. Maxim Grishin -380 (DK 9100) (FD $20).
Antigulov is 20-7 in his career as a professional fighter and is coming in as a huge underdog (+310) versus Maxim Grishin (-380), who has a record of 30 wins, eight losses, and two draws. This fight is most definitely going to end via knockout. 95% of Antigulovs fights have been finished within the distanced. Antigulov is a very dangerous fighter. Either he wins or loses in the first few minutes of every fight he is involved in.
If he catches Grishin with one of his monstrous shots, he is going to drop very quickly. If Grishin can weather the storm of Gadzhimurad, he will come out on top. Even though the Vegas odds are very wide, I still feel that they are accurate. I feel that Maxim will outlast Antigulov and finish him in the first round after dodging huge power shots.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Maxim Grishin -380 (DK 9100) (FD $20). FIRST-ROUND TKO.
UFC HONORABLE MENTION:
(No specific order unless noted)
Thomas Almeida -130 (DK 8200) (FD $17)
Brian Ortega +160 (DK 7600) (FD $19)
Jun Yong Park -270 (DK 8800) (FD $17)
(GPP ONLY) (RISKY) Guram Kutateladze +250 (DK 7300) (FD $11)
SUMMARY:
On Saturday’s eleven bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 20 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 75 percent of my lineups. This slate is very tough to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset. I will use a hedging technique on the fights that are closer in odds. I’m focusing on building a GPP winning lineup.
I’m building lineups that can variate from the field and taking bigger risks tonight. I will use my core fighters (Value, Locked-In, Top Scoring, Honorable Mention) to be a staple in my DFS lineups, and I will build around them using the available salary with the remainder of my predicted winners. Remember, to take down a GPP; you have to be different and take risks. Scared money doesn’t make money in tournaments. For any further questions, I will be available until lock in our WinDaily Discord chat or you can find me on Twitter @JThomsonDFS. GOOD LUCK and don’t forget to come back and Win Daily!
