Fight Night Bets & DFS for Noche UFC

O’MALLEY VS DVALISHVILI

We have made it to one of the most exciting cards of the year! This 10-fight card is action-packed, and as the card goes on, each fight gets better and better. This card will be one you don’t want to miss, and it will be a love letter to the Mexican people. The main event will feature Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili competing for the UFC Bantamweight belt. Now, with all that out of the way, let’s get right into the action!

SLATE STARTS AT 7:30 PM ET

Exposure to the main event is highly recommended. DFS production in these fights is usually high as they are five-round fights. I do not recommend branching away from the Main Event. These fighters are usually both active, and they can rack up a lot of points. There will be four top plays followed by best bets. Now, let’s get ready to make some money!

Tonight, I’m here to give you my top four favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for Noche UFC O’Malley vs Dvalishvili.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH & GPP):

Esteban Ribovics vs Daniel Zellhuber

Zellhuber hasn’t been as impressive to me as he has been to other people. He started off with a lot of flashy KOs and impressive performances; however, as his competition improved, he struggled a bit, racking up more decision wins and also picking up his first career loss.

His opponent tonight, Esteban Ribovics, is no slouch and shocked many with his first-round head-kick victory over Terrance McKinney last May.

Although Ribovics struggles to defend takedowns, Zellhuber doesn’t really shoot for takedowns and will most likely be more comfortable keeping the fight on the feet as well.

This will be a close fight, but there is a lot of value in Ribovics as someone who I can easily see winning a clean decision tonight.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Esteban Ribovics by UNANIMOUS DECISION (possible SECOND ROUND-KO).

MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET (CASH):

Yazmin Jauregui vs Ketlen Souza

Jauregui is a phenomenal prospect in the women’s strawweight division who has a very high strike output (6.26 vs 4.78 Strikes Landed per Minute or SLpM) and can compete against some of the toughest women in the division. Fortunately for Jauregui, Souza is not close to the toughest in the decision. Over her two UFC fights, Souza has gone 1-1 for a 14-4-0 overall record.

Souza hasn’t really been able to incorporate submissions and takedowns into her MMA repertoire. This makes her a perfect matchup for Jauregui since there is no threat of a takedown. Jauregui can set the tone of the fight early with her striking and quickly take control for all 15 minutes.

This will not be the most entertaining fight of the night but Jauregui’s skill set will be on full display as she will have a clear skill advantage over her opponent.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Yazmin Jauregui by UNANIMOUS DECISION

MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET (GPP):

Raul Rosas Jr. vs Aoriqileng

This is a pretty bad mismatch to start the action on tonight’s card. Right of the bat, we have one of the UFCs best rising stars coming up against a middle of the road fighter who is ranked beneath him.

The simple reality of this fight is that it will not be much of a challenge for Rosas Jr. who has handily taken care of much stronger competition in his last two fights.

With Aoriqileng’s aggressive striking and mediocre takedown defence, watch for Rosas to go for the early takedown and work the fight to the ground. Ultimately finding the submission soon thereafter.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Raul Rosas Jr. by FIRST-ROUND SUBMISSION (possible SECOND-ROUND SUBMISSION)

MY MAIN EVENT PREDICTION (CASH & GPP):

Sean O’Malley vs Merab Dvalishvili

For the main event of the night, I had to go with Suga Sean O’Malley. O’Malley is one of the most dominant fighters in the bantamweight division with his only loss happening due to a freak nerve injury against an opponent who he later beat. Against everyone else he’s competed against, he’s been nothing short of dominant.

O’Malley won the belt with a clean KO victory over Merab’s longtime training partner, Aljamain Sterling. In many ways, Aljamain is a more complete fighter than Merab and Merab wont have a lot of new challenges to offer O’Malley.

O’Malley is a very talented striker with a significantly higher Strikes Landed per Minute rate or SLpM (7.63 vs 4.50). O’Malley’s striking pressure is very hard to compete against, and what we’ll see is Merab shooting for a lot of takedowns to try to grapple with his way to victory. As we have seen before, O’Malley can keep his opponents away from him with his long-range striking and 4″ reach advantage while also catching Merab on the way in if he tries to shoot for a takedown, just like he did against Aljamain.

We should see O’Malley point his way to a victory here with consistent striking that wears Merab out, however, there is also a chance that O’Malley goes for the money shot and puts Merab’s lights out.

MY UFC DFS PICK: Sean O’Malley by UNANIMOUS DECISION (possible THIRD-ROUND KO).
