FanDuel MLB 4/7 Aces and Bases with A Through Z

What is up everyone! Hope you are all having a great week. Happy Hump Day. Check out the FanDuel MLB 4/7 breakdown below.

As usual, I will be going over 3 pitchers and 3 teams that we should be looking to stack in our FanDuel lineups. The main slate locks at 1:10 PM today, so let’s get to it!

The Aces

A. We have an earlier lock time today with the afternoon start, so I will keep this short and sweet and stick to the plays that we should target so that I can get this into your hands as quickly as possible! My first ace of the day is Shane Bieber ($11,500) facing off against the KC Royals. Simply put, we have two of the top pitchers in baseball on the slate today and I would be remiss if I did not start this article by recommending that we get some exposure to both of them.

B. The second of the aforementioned top pitchers in baseball is of course Mr. Trevor Bauer ($11,000). Despite pitching in Coors Field for his first start, Bauer was able to rack up 10 punch-outs while allowing three hits, two walks, and four ERs. I would expect a much stronger performance in terms of limiting runs, and the strikeouts will always be there with Bauer, who is a lock and load play per usual.

C. If we want to target some expensive bats, we will need to search for exposure to some cheaper pitchers than the two obvious aces. As much as it pains me to say as a Red Sox fan, for me that cheaper pitcher is Ryan Yarbrough ($6,900). This Red Sox team did pull off a dramatic extra-innings win last night, but they are just not the same as the World Series team of 2018. Yarbrough nearly reached six innings his last outing, and with the weather chilly in Boston, we should see limited run production as usual from by hometown team.

The Bases

A. For my stacks on FanDuel, I look to target the worst pitchers/bullpens on a slate with teams that are expected to go under-owned relative to their potential production. I am hoping that the Toronto Blue Jays fall into that category today as they have the pleasure of taking swings against notorious gas can Kyle Gibson.

B. The second team I will be looking to stack today is the Cleveland Indians. It looks like we will have a bullpen day for the Royals today, since Jakob Junis is “starting” but has also pitched in relief in two prior games. While we do not know who will follow Junis as a long reliever, this Indians team is still strong on offense even without the services of Lindor, and I will be stacking them up with the expectation that they are able to cycle through quite a few sub-par pitchers today.

C. One team that will never really be overlooked this season is the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jesus Luzardo of the Oakland A’s is coming off of a game against Houston where he surrendered EIGHT hits, one walk, and five earned runs through five innings. He did not look sharp outside of strong strikeout numbers, and if Houston can perform like that against him, the Dodgers should feast.

That is it for me today! Please also check out our projection model by clicking here. If you have any questions, I will be in our expert chat in Discord leading up to lock so feel free to shoot me a DM!
