FanDuel CFB 11/28/20 Main Slate Picks
Hello everybody! I would personally like to introduce myself to the team. My name is Josh and everybody can find me on Twitter @DFS_JDM. I will be covering CFB/CBB DFS for Win Daily Sports moving forward. I want to note that I primarily play DFS on FanDuel and my picks are geared toward the FanDuel site. In my debut article, I will be covering some of my top picks for FanDuel CFB 11/28/20 Main Slate Picks that starts at 12 pm (EST) for the most part, BUT if you find pricing similar on DraftKings, feel free to lock in these plays as well. PLEASE BE AWARE THE GAME BETWEEN OHIO STATE & ILLINOIS WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID PRECAUTIONS. Please refer to the Discord Channel for Pivots. Also make sure to take advantage of our Black Friday Sale where all subscriptions on Win Daily Sports are still 50% off!
Quarterback:
Justin Fields ($11,200) @ Illinois
I am going to lock in Fields even at his price here against an Illinois team giving up 32 points per game. This game also has the highest O/U on the slate at 71.5 and Ohio St has the highest team total of 49.75 on the slate. So this is definitely a team I am looking to stack. Fields on the season in 4 games is averaging 302 passing yards per game and 32.2 fantasy points/per game. The only concern I have is Ohio St is 26.5 point favorites in this game. The Illinois offense has been decent this season while we have seen the Ohio St defense struggle a bit. But, if this game gets ugly quick that means Fields should be throwing and rushing for TDS.
*** With the Ohio St game being cancelled due to COVID-19. Another quarterback I am looking at is JT Daniels ($8,400) of Georgia. Daniels got his first start last week and didn’t disappoint throwing for 401 yards and 4 touchdowns. Next up they face South Carolina who has been getting torched.
Jake Plummer ($9,500) vs Rutgers
I don’t expect Plummer to garnish any ownership on the slate. But, looking at what he did against Minnesota last week and now playing a Rutgers defense who allows 36.8 points/per game, 264.8 passing yards and 3.0 TDs per game he catches my eye. Purdue has a team total of 36 points and this game carries an O/U of 61. Also, I wanted to point out this game has an 11 point spread so it should stay relatively close where Plummer plays the whole game.
Cade McNamara ($8,100) vs Penn St
Jim Harbaugh hasn’t officially announced his starting quarterback for tomorrow’s matchup with Penn St. But, everything I have seen is it’s reported that McNamara will get the start. McNamara is my favorite value play at quarterback if you need some salary for RB/WR. We’ve only seen a few quarters of McNamara against Wisconsin and leading a comeback win vs Rutgers last week. I have to say he has looked impressive. Now he should get the chance to go up against an 0-5 Penn St team that is allowing 36 points/per game.
Running back:
Master Teague III ($9,000) @ Illinois
As I mentioned above when I was writing up Justin Fields I said I love an Ohio St stack and I will continue that love with Teague. He should have no problem with the Illinois run defense as they are giving up 193.2 rushing yards/per game which is the 4th highest on the slate. Teague also has a 40.6 carry percentage and averages 104.3 yards/per game and 19.8 fantasy points/per game.
*** With the Ohio St game off the slate. It frees up some salary for us to possibly get Najee Harris $10,700) into our lineups. Harris is the top running back in the country and will always be the best running back option in terms of fantasy. I think there is definitely a way to get to him now and I would guess he is going to be a pretty popular option.
Chuba Hubbard ($8,400) vs Texas Tech
We haven’t seen the Chuba of 2019 yet in 2020 but this matchup with Texas Tech is as good as it gets for him. The Texas Tech run defense is giving up 179.4 rushing, 4.5 yards per carry along with 2.4 touchdowns a game.
Stevie Scott ($8,000) vs Maryland
It seems like when it comes to Indiana all we hear about is the passing attack and for good reason. But, let’s not forget about Scott especially in this matchup with Maryland. He has over 20 carries in every game this season besides last week vs Ohio St. In which Indiana was playing from behind the whole game. This game has a closer spread at 11.5 so Scott should get his 20+ carries. The Maryland defense has been awful this season. Giving up 227 rushing yards, 4.9 yards per carry, and 3 touchdowns a game.
Wide Receivers
Garret Wilson ($9,700) @ Illinois
You will learn quickly in DFS I absolutely love to stack my quarterback with one of his receivers. In this case, I want to stack Fields/Wilson in my cash lineups. The sophomore is having an incredible season thus far through 4 games for the Buckeyes. He is averaging 145 yards per game, 24.4 fantasy points per game along with a team target percentage of 35.2 which leads the Buckeyes receivers.
Rondale Moore ($9,800) vs Rutgers
Moore returned to the field last week for Purdue after sitting the past three games. Moore is a first-round pick in next year’s NFL draft and the sophomore is an absolute stud. In his first game back he pulled down 15 receptions and had 116 yards while also accounting for a rushing touchdown vs Minnesota. Look like Plummer to target Moore a bunch in this matchup with Rutgers.
Others to consider:
QB: Matt Corral, Michael Penix Jr., JT Daniels
RB: Najee Harris, Zamir White
WR: Ty Fryfogle, Elijah Moore, George Pickens
