Following a dramatic PGA Championship, the PGA Tour returns with the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge at the newly renovated Colonial Country Club. Last year, Emiliano Grillo triumphed in a playoff over Adam Schenk, with Scottie Scheffler narrowly missing out. This year, Scheffler, the world No. 1 and Dallas-Fort Worth resident, headlines the field, seeking victory at a course where he has previously excelled. Joining him are U.S. Ryder Cup teammates Collin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, and Brian Harman. Morikawa aims for his first 2024 win after strong showings in major championships, while Spieth returns to a favorite venue with eight top-10 finishes in 11 appearances. The field also features international players Si Woo Kim, Sungjae Im, Min Woo Lee, Tom Kim, and notable competitors Tony Finau, Denny McCarthy, and Chris Kirk.
