Synopsis:
In cash games and single-entry, the build is pretty easy. There are five great plays with high floors and high ceilings as well as a couple of good cheap defenders. To round out your lineup, you need to make two decisions, who your keeper is and who you play at utility. I do not mind playing three defenders in this build because I believe the ceilings are the same for the cheap defender and cheap F/M. In the end, it’s your call.
In GPP’s I think and HOPE Manchester City will be highly owned so that Newcastle won’t be. In tournaments, I will be playing a Newcastle stack because outside of City, they are the team that has the best odds to score 3+ goals on Saturday. It’s pretty easy to build a Newcastle stack off of the core lineup. Swapping in Wilson, Almiron, and Anthony Gordon (not listed but a good play nonetheless) for MGW, Neto, and Doughty. You can downgrade your goalie as the last swap.
