If you are new to soccer DFS, you need to know that lineups don’t come out until around 1 hour before lock. For the first time I can remember this season, Luton is a big favorite and one of the chalk teams on the slate. Luton, along with Liverpool, will be the most popular plays. If you are playing large-field GPP’s, it would be good to look elsewhere. This doesn’t mean a complete fade, but instead of stacking both, pick 1-2 pieces from the popular teams and use the low-owned pieces like Mac Allister/Jones from Liverpool or Carlton Morris from Luton. Tottenham/Brighton have the highest total on the slate, so in GPP’s it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get exposure there. I prefer the Spurs side, but with Maddison seemingly off-set-pieces, I prefer to fade him and go with the other players I listed in the rankings. Both Lewis Cook (BOU – $5.1K) and Ale Scott (BOU – $5.8K) are options for the mid-tier in the midfield. If Scott starts he is the preferable play, but if he isn’t in the starting XI, then it’s Cook.
