While our buddy Matt Vecchio has your Dominators covered for this double header weekend at Michigan, let’s take a look at the back of the pack and the guys who can make or break your lineup. We’ll be looking at the last four races at Michigan and going off of our average system. So let’s take a look at: DFS value plays for Michigan. *All prices are for DraftKings.
Bubba Wallace ($6500.00 / starting 24th)
In the last 4 races at Michigan Bubba Wallace hasn’t done a whole lot, he only has one top 20 in the past 4 races here and an average finish of 24.3 and brought in 21.3 DK points. Maybe Bubba makes up some positions by keeping the fenders on it and avoiding the wrecks, but I’ll be staying away from the 43 this week.
Chris Buescher ($6300.00 / starting 22nd)
Chris Buescher is worth a look, while he hasn’t set the world on fire at Michigan he does have 1 top 15, and 3 top 20’s. Buescher has an average finish of 18.5 and brought in 32 DK points. If Buescher keeps his Roush Fenway Ford out of trouble he has a chance at some decent upside today.
Ryan Newman ($6200.00 / starting 13th)
Ryan “The Rocketman Newman” has an average finish of 14.3 and has driven to 1 top 10, 3 top 15’s, and 3 top 20’s in the last 4 races. He’s brought in 30.3 DK points for his troubles. If Newman can catch a couple breaks he could find himself comfortably in the top 10. With a tremendous upside and a cheap price tag to boot, why wouldn’t you have some exposure to Rocket today?
Michael McDowell ($6100.00 / starting 21st)
Nothing to see here, keep moving. Don’t do it.
Daniel Suarez ($6000.00 / starting 37th)
Hear me out, Daniel Suarez has some upside and a lot of it. I know what you’re thinking, I haven’t heard much about him all season. You’re exactly right, but at Michigan Suarez for some reason or another does well here. I know he isn’t in a SHR car anymore but in his last 4 races at Michigan Suarez has found himself in the top 5 twice, top 10 twice, 3 top 15’s and 3 top 20’s. He also brings in an average 36.75 DK points from his last 4 races this season. Not too bad for $6K..
Ryan Preece ($5,800 / starting 35th)
Ryan Preece, Mr. I may make or break your lineup. Ryan has started from the back before and found himself in the top 15, he’s also found himself nearly dead last. Keep in mind we only have his 2 starts in our calculator, not like everyone else’s 4. Mr. Preece 1 top 10, top 15, and top 20 which was good enough for 40 DK points. This is one of those risk/reward moments, you know like in a movie when the star has a gold chest in front of him and opens it to find a venomous viper moments before it strikes him and the screen goes black..
