Cash with the Flash Best Bets had an interesting day yesterday. Aside from a great afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium watching the Cleveland Browns get thrashed by the Tennessee Titans, Cash with the Flash Best Bets made a couple of NFL touts and went 1-1 on the day.
Kansas Cityeasily covered the 3.5 points on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.Patrick Mahomes threw for three touchdowns and wide receiver Tyreek Hill woundup hurting his clavicle and will miss several weeks. Jacksonville quarterbackNick Foles broke his clavicle and will also miss several weeks.
Then there was the Detroit Lions, who killed Cash with the Flash Best Bets’ perfect day.
The Lions helda solid lead for three quarters over the Arizona Cardinals and for reasonsknown only to Detroit, the Lions allowed 18 fourth-quarter points by a teamthat didn’t score 18 points all last season. The sides exchanged field goals inthe overtime period and the game ended in a tie.
Cash withthe Flash Best Bets suffered a bad beat if ever there was one. And we move onto the next day shaking our head and wondering how the hell the Lions blew ourperfect day.
I had thesame feeling watching the Lions blow that game as Cleveland fans watching theirover-hyped Browns implode under 18 penalties.
Well, almost. At least I didn’t cry because the Detroit Lions lost their first gameof the season against a rookie quarterback who may or may not have been morelucky than good on Sunday.

Cash withthe Flash Best Bets has a pair of National Football League games for you toconsider tonight.
Houston Texans (+6.5) @ New OrleansSaints (-6.5) Total 52.5 Points
Mercedes-BenzSuperdome 7:10 pm ET
Cash withthe Flash Best Bets: New Orleans Saints -6.5 Points, Over 52.5 Points
Jadeveon Clowney and his nine sacks with 19 tackles for losses will be sorely missed by the Texans and especially against the Saints and future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees. And I don’t think Brees is going to mind not seeing Clowney on the other side of scrimmage either. I know I wouldn’t. And Brees and his crew of highly skilled offensive players should be able to take advantage of this weakened Texans defense and put up solid numbers on the board.
Houston hasquarterback DeshaunWatson slinging for them and he also has a nice set of offensiveweapons at his disposal. The Texans have an explosive offense but are upagainst a Saints defense ranked fourth against the run and sixth-best againstthe pass.
This game isgoing to be a back and forth and likely high scoring one at that. The Saintsare the better football team and should cover the 6.5 points. This total openedat 54 points and is now currently available at most shops for 52.5 points. Thatnumber is ABSOLUTELY in play tonight and Cash with the Flash Best Bets suggestsplaying the OVER in this game in addition to the Saints at -.6.5 points.
Denver Broncos(-2.5) @ Oakland Raiders(+2.5)
RingCentralColiseum 10:20 pm ET
Cash withthe Flash Best Bets: Denver Broncos -2.5 Points
Denver signedquarterback Joe Flacco this offseason in the hopes he could lead the Broncos totheir first playoff appearance since 2015. The Broncos also hired formerChicago Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio to replace Vance Joseph as HeadCoach. The Broncos offense may be a work in progress, but the defensive-mindedFangio takes over a Broncos defense ranking 13th in points allowedand were fifth last season in defensive DVOA according to Football Outsiders.
Trading this offseason for All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown was supposed to be a shot of adrenaline for an offense Football Outsiders ranked as the 30th worst offensive DVOA in the National Football League. Instead, he was a constant distraction and eventually released from his contract this past Saturday morning. Veteran quarterback Derek Carr returns behind center and has a revamped offensive line and a brand-new receiving corps that will have to step up considering all the drama surrounding Brown and his departure.
Denver should be able to cover the 2.5 on the road against an Oakland Raiders team without many offensive weapons and a very bad defense. The Broncos have a Top 10 defense and should be able to contain Carr and the Raiders Monday night.
Cash withthe Flash Best Bets suggests laying the wood and go with the Broncos to beatOakland on Monday night. This was a “pick-em” game before the Brown news andnow it’s Denver -2.5. That means it was going to be close either way and Cashwith the Flash Best Bets is siding with the Broncos to cover. We are alsosuggesting playing the UNDER in this game as it shouldn’t get anywhere near the43-point total on Monday night.
