BMW Championship Ownership Report

BMW Championship Ownership Report

This week is the second leg of the FedEx PGA championship, which culminates next week in East Lake. The top 15 in this tourney will be scrambling for those bonus points which awards the PGA’s top golfer with -10 at the start, and slides down to golfers 26 thru 30, who must start at even par, 10 strokes down to the leader. Golfers 31st thru 69th will be jockeying for that 30th position or better. Webb Simpson has withdrawn from the BMW to rest for the championship, he sits in 3rd place at present, and is in no danger of losing a spot in the final. This is a no cut event, ownership will play a more crucial role this week, you want to find that combo of low owned, good value and high upside golfer X 6. Easy ! Let’s get to the projections for the DraftKings Half a Milly Maker BMW Championship Ownership Report.

The top golfer this week is Daniel Berger at 21.3 %. It seems he is finally getting some public recognition for playing lights out golf ever since the return, let’s hope the Masters committee sees the same and sends him that coveted invitation to Augusta since he doesn’t qualify, which is mind bending. Next up is Xander Schauffele at 19.8%. Collin Morikawa is next at 19%. He missed the cut last week for only the second time in his career, Patrick “Sharps” Scott petitioned the U.N. to nullify the results claiming Collin just had a tough day. It is rumored the UN responded with, “Dear Patrick, we have absolutely no clue on how to address this, as we have no jurisdiction over your American golf, we do wish you and Collin well, and please ask Donnie to send us another check.” Nice try Patrick, guys make sure you check out Patrick’s article later tonight, it will be out as soon as the new wallpaper of Collin accepting his PGA trophy goes up in Patrick’s bedroom.

Next is Harris English at 18%. Victor Hovland at 17%++ (+ is moving upward) followed by Justin Thomas at 17.6%, Jon Rahm is 16.9%, Tony Finau has climbed to 16.5%. Dustin Johnson and Adam Scott are steady at 15.7%, Scottie Scheffler  and Tyrrell Hatton are at 15.5% followed by Russell Henley at 15.4%. Matthew Wolff  has moved to 14.3%, Patrick Reed is 13.5%, Hideki Matsuyama is 13.2%, Rory McILroy is 13.1%, Bryson DeChambeau is 13%, Patrick Cantlay is 13%, Jason Day is 12.4%, Abraham Ancer is 12.2%, Kevin Kisner is 11.7%, Tiger Woods is 11.3%, Sungjae IM is 10%, Alex Noren is now 9.6%,Paul Casey is 9.5% Ryan Palmer is 9.4%, Cameron Champ, Brendan Steele, and Taylor Gooch are all 9.3%. Matthew Fitzpatrick is 8.8%, Kevin Na is 8.5%, Billy Horschel is 8.4%, Gary Woodland and Joaquin Niemann are 8.1%, Kevin Streelman is 8%, Corey Conners, who I like is 7.7%, Matt Kuchar is 7.6%, Jason Kokrak is 7.5%, Louis Oosthuizen and Brian Harmon are 6.9%, Mark Hubbard is 6.4%, Joel Dahmen is 6.2%.

The following golfers are at 5% ownership or lower:

Bubba Watson is 5%, Lanto Griffin and Robby Shelton are 4.9%, Adam Long and Dylan Frittelli are 4.6%, Cameron Smith is 4.5%, Marc Leishman is 4.3%, Adam Hadwin is 4%, Sebastian Munoz is 3.8%, Brendan Todd and JT Poston are 3.7%, Danny Lee is 3.6%, Max Homa is 3.5%, Maverick McNealy is 3.4%, Nick Taylor is 3%, Tyler Duncan and B.An are 2.6%, Richy Werenski is 2.4%.

The following golfers are at 2% ownership or lower:

Carlos Ortiz is 2% owned along with Charles Howell lll. Michael Thompson is 1.1% along with Tom Hoge and Andrew Landry. Any others in the field are at less than 1%.

Picks for the BMW:

In the upper tiers I like Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas.
In the mid tiers I like Scottie Scheffler and Kevin Kisner
In the lower tiers I like Ryan Palmer and Corey Conners.

Last week my out in left field play was Denny McCarthy, he made the cut, finished 48th at -7.

This week my out in left field play is Sebastian Munoz (6300) who has been trending in the right direction with his metrics and at his price a top 20 would bring value plus. My honorable mention player is Adam Long (6300).

By now you should know about Sia’s Secret Weapon, a play so powerful it has blown out the competition going into its 3rd month ! Every single week Sia picks a low owned, (under 5%) and a salaried golfer in the 6000 range, and for the umpteenth time this pick hits, week after week after week. You can ONLY get this play in the Discord channel tonight, so stay tuned and be on the lookout for the knockout play: Sia’s Secret Weapon.

I’ll be in the Discord Channel after this report is published answering questions on ownership and team construction and rostering. Look for articles by our other writers Patrick Scott and Isaiah, who by the way are among the top 750 players in DFS golf on DraftKings, and Joel is in the top 650. All of us work together starting Sunday nights after the last tourney ends to bring you the information and player stats that will help you reach higher placing  in the tourneys and hopefully hit the big time million. Don’t forget to read the articles, and check out the live stream tonight with special guest Robert Griffin III, all on Win Daily Sports !

As always, I hope to see you, in the money.
