NCAA Football is back, and several games are on tap for Thursday night. 15 College Football games are on the schedule and not all of them would be considered a sound investment. And making the Best Bets each day is what we are after. Here’s what I have for you for Thursday, August 29, 2019.
NippertStadium, Cincinnati, Ohio 7:00 pm ET
Best Bet:Cincinnati -2.5 points
Wager: Three-Unit Play
Cincinnati returns 14 starters to a team that went 11-2 and ending their season with a win over Virginia Tech at the Military Bowl. The Bearcats have won 17 straight home openers and began last season with a win over UCLA in Los Angeles. The Bruins return 19 starters to a team that went 3-9 under then first-year Head Coach Chip Kelly and has lost 14 of their last 15 road games. I saw those trends I think might be helpful for Thursday night.
Cash with the Flash lay the wood and play the Cincinnati Bearcats as one of your best bets to cover the spread against the UCLA Bruins.
Sun DevilStadium, Tempe Arizona, 10:00 pm ET
Best Bet:Arizona State -24.5 Points
Wager: Three-Unit Play
The Sun Devils return 15 starters to a 2018 football team that went 7-6 and ended their season with a 31-20 loss to Fresno State at the Las Vegas Bowl. The Sun Devils have won 19 straight home openers by at least 32 points per game. Sun Devils running back Eno Benjamin returns from a 2018 season that saw the junior rush for 1640 yards last season. Kent State returns 15 starters from a 2-10 tackle football team under Head Coach Sean Lewis first year. Kent State is just 2-28-1 in season openers on the road and has lost 11 consecutive road openers by an average of 32 points.
Cash with the Flash lay the wood again and make one of the best bets of the night by playing Arizona State to beat Kent State on Thursday night.

Kyle Field,College Station, Texas 8:30 pm ET
Best Bet: Texas A&M -33.5 points Three Units
The Aggies have seven returning offensive starters and four defensive starters for a team that went 9-4 under and a 52-13 Liberty Bowl win over N.C, State under then first-year Head Coach Jimbo Fisher. A&M holds a 2-0 series lead over Texas State and has won their last six home openers. The Aggies lost All-American running back Trayveon Williams and Tight End Trayce Sternberger to graduation. The Bobcats return 19 starters to a football team that went 3-9 in 2018 and replaced Head Coach Everett Withers with Jake Spavital. Texas State is 0-5 against SEC teams and 3-4 in road openers over their last seven seasons. These trends seem helpful for making a solid wager on Thursday;
- Aggies are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games.
- Aggies are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Play the Aggies as one of your best bets to cover the spread against the Bobcats.
