UFC FIGHT NIGHT.
HALL VS. SILVA.
We have an action-packed UFC fight card tonight! UFC Fight Night Hall vs. Silva starts with seven preliminary fights, followed up with five excellent fights on the main menu at the Apex Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a fight card with 24 fighters scheduled to go to battle. I cannot wait to watch this massive TWELVE fight combination!
In my UFC DFS lineups, I normally have 100% exposure to the Main Event, but this fight is different. I will only have about 60% exposure because I feel that this fight will end in a low scoring decision, with the possibility of not reaching the optimal lineup. The Main Event is a five-round fight. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. Now let’s get ready to make some money!
Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Fight Night Hall vs. Silva.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):
Miles Johns -160 (DK 8400) (FD $18) vs. Kevin Natividad +130 (DK 7800) (FD $12).
This fight is a very interesting matchup. Miles has a record of ten wins and one loss with one win and one loss in the UFC. Johns is coming off of a knockout loss to Mario Bautista, where he was caught with a flying knee in the second round of the fight. He is a fighter who wrestlers more than he likes to strike, and I feel that could backfire on him here.
Natividad is making his UFC debut with a record of nine wins and one loss in his career and is on a five-fight winning streak. Natividad is primarily a stand and bang puncher who could outproduce anyone that is put in front of him. I believe Natividad will completely outwork and out-strike Johns in a close but high scoring fight that is determined by a decision.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Kevin Natividad +130 (DK 7800) (FD $12). DECISION.
MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET:
Maurice Greene +255 (DK 7400) (FD $10) vs. Greg Hardy -330 (DK 8800) (FD $20).
Maurice Greene is in a spot that does not favor him. He has an overall record of nine wins and four losses, with four wins and two losses in the UFC. Greene is a great striker and has decent Jui-Jitsu, but the problem he will have is trying to avoid the power shots of Greg Hardy.
Greg Hardy is a unique fighter. He has power, unlike anyone you have ever seen, but can also move like he is a lightweight fighter. He will corner his opponent and throw a ridiculous amount of shots their way. Hardy has the agility and the ability to avoid submissions and takedowns. Greg is a heavy favorite, and for a good reason. He will do everything in his power to produce a finish, and I see him taking out Greene very early into this fight.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Greg Hardy -330 (DK 8800) (FD $20). FIRST-ROUND TKO.
MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET:
Adrian Yanez -465 (DK 9200) (FD $16) vs. Victor Rodriguez +340 (DK 7000) (FD $???).
This is one of my favorite fights to target. Yanez comes into this fight with a record of eleven wins and three losses, making his UFC debut. Yanez last fought in the contender series, where he was very impressive in his victory, sending his opponent into outer space and leaving him with a long-lasting reminder of who he is—destroying him in the first round. Adrian is on a little winning streak, basically decapitating three out of his last four opponents. If he continues his powerful strikes, he will finish Rodriguez very quickly.
Victor Rodriguez comes into this fight as the clear-cut underdog with a record of seven wins and two losses, also making his UFC debut. Rodriguez is an animal, but he has not experienced much of a challenge in his career. He has finished or been finished in ALL of his career fights. Rodriguez has a potential shot here, but in my opinion, Yanez will eat him alive. If he goes all-out and forces his strikes as he has in previous fights, Adrian will catch him with a smooth upper or overhand in a very quick fashion.
I do believe Rodriguez continues to fight the same way he has in the past and will get knocked out at the end of the first round, after being punished for over four minutes.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Adrian Yanez -465 (DK 9200) (FD $16). FIRST-ROUND TKO.
UFC HONORABLE MENTION:
(No specific order unless noted)
(Update**)(Risky GPP Play) Justin Ledet +280 (DK 7300) (FD $9)
(Another Top Play) Cortney Casey -260 (DK 8700) (FD $18) (CANCELED)
(Great Value Play) Kevin Holland (DK 8200) (FD $17)
(GPP ONLY) (RISKY) Cole Williams +145 (DK 7900) (FD $15)
(MAIN EVENT) Uriah Hall -225 (DK 8500) (FD $17)
SUMMARY:
On Saturday’s TWELVE bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 20 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 75 percent of my lineups. This slate is very tough to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset. I will use a hedging technique on the fights that are closer in odds. I’m focusing on building a GPP winning lineup.
I’m building lineups that can variate from the field and taking bigger risks tonight. I will use my core fighters (Value, Locked-In, Top Scoring, Honorable Mention) to be a staple in my DFS lineups, and I will build around them using the available salary with the remainder of my predicted winners. Remember, to take down a GPP; you have to be different and take risks. Scared money doesn’t make money in tournaments. For any further questions, I will be available until lock in our WinDaily Discord chat or you can find me on Twitter @JThomsonDFS. GOOD LUCK and don’t forget to come back and Win Daily!
