UFC FIGHT NIGHT.
SANTOS VS. TEIXEIRA.
We have an action-packed UFC fight card tonight! UFC Fight Night SANTOS VS. TEIXEIRA starts with seven preliminary fights, followed up with five excellent fights on the main menu at the Apex Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a fight card with 22 fighters scheduled to go to battle. I cannot wait to watch this massive ELEVEN fight combination!
In my UFC DFS lineups, I normally have 100% exposure to the Main Event, but this fight is different. I will only have about 90% exposure because I feel that this fight will end with a mid-fight TKO, with the possibility of not reaching the optimal lineup. More times than not, a TKO will end up in the optimal lineup, but just in case, I will have 10% of lineups without the main event. The Main Event is a five-round fight. The Main Event WILL NOT be featured as one of my top three plays (Top Value Play, Locked In-Play, or Top Scoring Play) but WILL be featured in my Honorable Mention category. Now let’s get ready to make some money!
Tonight I’m here to give you my top three favorite DFS and Sports betting picks for UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Teixeira.

MY UFC VALUE TARGET (CASH&GPP):
Max Griffin -135 (DK 8700) (FD $19) vs. Ramiz Brahimaj +105 (DK 7700) (FD $12).
Griffin comes into this fight with an overall record of 15 wins and eight losses. He has a UFC record of three wins and six losses. Griffin has mediocre wrestling, decent kickboxing, and is an all-around decent fighter. Nothing to write home about. Since entering the UFC, he has struggled to come out on top. Max is starting to show everyone that he might not be UFC worthy. Even in close matches, he does not seem to convince many people. Max is facing off against a newcomer in Ramiz Brahimaj.
Ramiz comes into this fight with eight wins and two losses in his professional career. He is making his UFC debut and is going to attempt to do what he does best to Max Griffin, that is to grapple and take him to the mat. If Ramiz can get Max to the mat, he will have an easy day ahead of him. Griffin tends to give up takedowns quite easily. Brahimaj should have no problem taking him to the mat and forcing an early stoppage with a nasty submission. In my opinion, I believe that the Vegas odds for this fight are way off, and I am going to jump on the opportunity to take a win.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Ramiz Brahimaj +105 (DK 7700) (FD $12). FIRST-ROUND SUBMISSION.
MY UFC LOCKED-IN TARGET:
Alexandr Romanov -445 (DK 9000) (FD $22) vs. Marcos Rogerio de Lima +345 (DK 7200) (FD $9).
This is one of my favorite fights to target. Lima steps into this fight with six wins and four losses inside the UFC. Marcos has chosen to fight at Heavyweight while he is still at the Light Heavyweight weight. He is a decent fighter who tends to strike first and ask questions later. Unfortunately for him, he is facing off against an absolute animal in Alexandr Romanov.
Romanov comes into this fight with an undefeated record of twelve wins and no losses, fighting his second UFC fight. Alexandr is a monster. He has extremely powerful hands, extensive grip, and can grapple just as good as anyone. He will exploit every mistake Lima makes, and I can almost guarantee it will happen extremely fast. Romanov should immediately come out swinging and force Marcos into challenging situations that he can not get out of. I believe Romanov end this early in the first round. Alexandr will be in the majority of my UFC DFS lineups.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Alexandr Romanov -445 (DK 9000) (FD $22). FIRST-ROUND TKO.
MY UFC TOP SCORING TARGET:
Andrei Arlovski +250 (DK 7300) (FD $10) vs. Tanner Boser -310 (DK 8900) (FD $21).
This is a traditional matchup of the old-timer and the new-comer. Arlovski has fought pretty much everyone in the UFC by this point. Andrei has 18 wins and 13 losses inside the UFC, and he continues to keep plugging away even though he has hit a massive rough patch in his career. Arlovski has turned into basically a gatekeeper of the division, and now it is Tanner Boser’s time to march right through him.
Tanner Boser comes into this fight with three wins and one loss inside the UFC. He has made a quick name for himself as of late. Tanner is exceptionally agile and can move very fast for a Heavyweight. If given the opportunity, he will load up and release all of his force into one shot. Coming off of back to back KOs in his two previous fights against Pessoa and Lins, he is looking to keep the streak alive. Boser is going to use his fast footwork and strong hands to lay into Arlovski early and often. In my opinion, Andrei should not be fighting anymore, and Tanner will show him exactly why.
MY UFC DFS PICK: Tanner Boser -310 (DK 8900) (FD $21). FIRST-ROUND TKO.
UFC HONORABLE MENTION:
(No specific order unless noted)
(GREAT VALUE PLAY) Brendan Allen -115 (DK 8400) (FD $15) (CANCELLED)
(GPP ONLY) (RISKY VALUE) Luis Eduardo Garagorri +195 (DK 7500) (FD $11)
(GPP ONLY) (RISKY) Khalid Taha +300 (DK 7100) (FD $8)
(MAIN EVENT) Glover Teixeira +200 (DK 7400) (FD $14) (60%)
(MAIN EVENT) Thiago Santos -260 (DK 8800) (FD $21) (40%)

SUMMARY:
On Saturday’s ELEVEN bout MMA UFC DFS slate, I will be building 20 GPP lineups. I will be focusing on the three targets and my honorable mention fighters listed in my article to be a part of about 75 percent of my lineups. This slate is very tough to predict a winner and all fights are pretty close in skillset. I will use a hedging technique on the fights that are closer in odds. I’m focusing on building a GPP winning lineup.
I’m building lineups that can variate from the field and taking bigger risks tonight. I will use my core fighters (Value, Locked-In, Top Scoring, Honorable Mention) to be a staple in my DFS lineups, and I will build around them using the available salary with the remainder of my predicted winners. Remember, to take down a GPP; you have to be different and take risks. Scared money doesn’t make money in tournaments. For any further questions, I will be available until lock in our WinDaily Discord chat or you can find me on Twitter @JThomsonDFS. GOOD LUCK and don’t forget to come back and Win Daily!
