Welcome to a Magic Monday edition of the Sweet Spot at Win Daily Sports. The Phillies salvaged the day and got us to 2-2 with a +/- 0 units. Our two dogs were both winning in the 8th inning, but the bullpens collapsed. But we have a good slate of MLB games ahead of us today and look to get back on the winning streak we’ve been riding.
Both Jared and I will be posting articles during the week and have a central focus on both MLB betting and DFS. Today is my turn and I will provide you a centralized focus on betting, props and DFS plays.
GAME BETS & PLAYER PROPS
TAMPA BAY RAYS -175 vs CHICAGO WHITE SOX
Rays are 11-7 ATS at home. They’re playing better as they swept the Mets over the weekend. And they have revenge on their mind as the White Sox swept the Rays just 10 days ago.
CLEVELAND GUARDIANS -120 vs DETROIT TIGERS
The Tigers suffered 3 tough losses in NY to the Yankees. While the Guardians are playing well winning 7 of their last 9 home games. They are also 4-2 in Triston McKenzie starts.
DOG OF THE DAY: LOS ANGELES ANGELS +135 at PITTSBURGH PIRATES
Pittsburgh is 5-9 ATS as fave. And they are just 4-5 ATS as home fave. Pittsburgh 3-4 ATS in Keller starts.
The Angles are just 2-4 in Tyler Anderson starts and 2-4 since Trouts injury.

Top Pitchers to Target:
LUIS CASTILLO ($9600 DK):
Castillo has straightened things of late. He has 4 straight quality starts with a 1.38 ERA in that stretch. He’s facing a hot Twins team but one he had great success against last year. In 2 starts he struck out 20 Minnesota batters.
COLE RAGANS ($8800 DK):
Outside of one terrible starts, Ragans has been great this year for KC. He has allowed just 7 runs in 6 starts when facing everyone but the Astros. Tonight he gets Milwaukee who just got shutout by the Cubs on Sunday.
YU DARVISH ($8400 DK):
Darvish is having a solid year even though his K numbers down. He’s coming off his best start of the year when he threw 5 shutout innings against the Reds.
Value Pitchers to Target:
SIMEON WOODS RICHARDSON ($7000 DK)
The Mariners have the highest K rate in baseball so that automatically qualifies Richardson on this short slate. But even better, his advanced metrics show a big positive regression leap is ahead. His 4.83 ERA has a 2.20 FIP.
