Welcome to the NASCAR DFS Pit Stop for the NASCAR Cup Series. Below you will find my rankings for the drivers in this race.
A Group: Drivers I will have the most exposure to and are high-priority
B Group: This group is drivers I feel have a high upside and are great filler pieces to pair with the A Group
C Group: The drivers in this tier are risky but could still be optimal. This group should be used in GPP’s
F Group: These drivers are on my do not play list
(Starting position in parenthesis)
Drivers in BOLD are potential dominators

DFS NASCAR – Driver Notes
- Welcome to the REAL spring Bristol race, baby! No more dirt on the track and we get good racing again for the spring race. This is a race where you NEED to get the dominators right to hit big. We have 500 laps of racing and there will be some incredibly high scores in this race.
- Speaking of dominators, I plan to roster at least 2, but maybe 3 if I can feel comfortable with my lineup. I want at least one of the early lap leaders in every lineup (drivers starting in the top 5) paired with one of the drivers I highlighted starting further back.
- Josh Berry does offer some good dominator but the risk is too high for me to run him out there in my lineups. If you like living on the edge, do it, but remember that he has a greater chance of sinking your lineups than he does to help get you to the top.
- Brad Keselowski is one of my favorite pivots off the chalk. People will plug in Buescher and Chastain in this price range but Kes is less likely to get caught a lap down early and has plenty of speed. I expect Keselowski to work through the field and hang around near the front all day.
- Carson Hocevar will be the value play de jour on Sunday, but there are options just as good in his price range. All three of Austin Dillon, AJ Allmendinger, and Ryan Preece have similar upside to Hocevar and will be significantly lower owned than he will be.
- Do not worry about how chalky your dominator plays are. You can be different elsewhere in your lineups, you will need those points from the dominators to cash today.
