KC is going with a reliever in Sparkman today. He does have one start this year in which he was very good, but I’m leaning toward the fact he’s more like his extremely poor Statcast data.
A three phase edge with positive splits plus the home field advantage is always a good combination for a win. The Royals bullpen has been extremely generous, posting a 5.52 ERA over their last 43 innings pitched, so even if it ends up close late I think the Sox come down with the W tonight.
