Sunday Night NBA DFS Positional Breakdown with BCW

Yes, NFL Divisional Playoff action grabs the attention, but there are still five games for the Sunday Night NBA DFS Positional Breakdown to handle. We also get the return of Kyrie Irving.

1/12 DFS Positional Rankings

1/12 NBA DFS Point Guard

  1. Kyle Lowry ($8300)
  2. Kyrie Irving ($7700): Well, look at who’s back? I don’t expect him to be limited, especially against a Hawks defense ranked 29th in scoring defense and 26th in defensive rating.
  3. Trae Young ($10,200): Hamstring issues make him a GTD. I’d explore Brandon Goodwin as a punt play if Young is out.
  4. Ja Morant ($7500)

1/12 NBA DFS Shooting Guard

  1. DeMar DeRozan ($7400)
  2. Devin Booker ($8800)
  3. Devonte’ Graham ($6800): Comes off a rock bottom-like 11.9 FDP outing against the Jazz on Friday. I’m banking on a big rebound against the Suns.
  4. D’Angelo Russell ($7700): Back in the lineup. Ranked here because of uncertainty about minutes restriction.

1/12 NBA DFS Small Forward

  1. Kelly Oubre ($7000): His numbers since late December translate into a top-10 Fantasy producer.
  2. Will Barton ($6700): He’s become the third cog behind Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in the Nuggets’ offensive machine. Clippers will make this a more fast-paced game than Denver likes, which should play in Barton’s favor.
  3. Taurean Prince ($5000): Honestly wouldn’t be shocked if he comes up with 40 FDP tonight against his former Hawks teammates.
  4. Alec Burks ($4100): Should still maintain a high usage rate even with D’Angelo Russell’s return to the lineup.

1/12 NBA DFS Power Forward

  1. Kawhi Leonard ($9700): Closest to an Anchor that’s offered for tonight’s slate.
  2. LaMarcus Aldridge ($7400)
  3. Serge Ibaka ($7500): Something of a sleeper play to me.
  4. Jarrett Allen ($5500): Value play.

1/12 NBA DFS Center

  1. Nikola Jokic ($9800): Not feeling him as an anchor, but will deliver solid rate of return.
  2. Deandre Ayton ($7800): Keeps teasing with the prospects of a 50+ FDP night. Just a hunch, but…
  3. Jonas Valanciunas ($6500): Continues to be a solid play. You can plug him in and still have enough salary to roll the dice with a bigger play.
  4. Willie Cauley-Stein ($4400): Grizzlies are 29th in Fantasy points per game allowed to centers. Good sleeper potential.
