The English Premier League is back in action this weekend. A lot of the top teams played mid-week in Europa League or Champions League, so we will be getting a lot of mid-table matches Saturday morning! FanDuel and DraftKings are featuring the late English Premier League soccer matches so let’s break this slate down!

Burnley vs Newcastle – With both teams separated by a mere four points in the English Premier League, this is an important matchup especially for Burnley as they sit 4 points above the relegation zone. Unfortunately, neither team really has a knack for scoring goals, but with the way this game should play out, I see a 2-1 Burnley victory. Ashley Barnes is questionable tomorrow, but I prefer to go with Charlie Wood on the Burnley side on FanDuel, and Dwight McNeil on DraftKings (great play as he provides set pieces). As for the Newcastle side, Jonjo Shelvey has been incredible in the English Premier League, with goals in his last 3, and is in play on both sites.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Chelsea is flying high once again in the English Premier League and looking fantastic while doing so. They’ve got a great match-up against Bournemouth, and it puts all of their attacking threats into play. Tammy Abraham will be leading the charge and should be in play on both sites, and Christian Pulisic and Willian are great secondary options. Willian takes the majority of the set pieces, so he is a great DraftKings play, and I would prefer Pulisic over Willian on FanDuel. Their defenders are also providing a load of fantasy points, with Emerson and Azpilicueta racking them up as of late. As for Bournemouth, look at set-piece taker Ryan Fraser as a potential punt play on DraftKings, but I do like all Bournemouth defenders on FanDuel.

Leicester vs Norwich – Jamie Vardy and James Maddison. This will be the chalk of the slate with Norwich’s defensive record, and with how incredible these two have been, it’s very easy just to put them in immediately. Norwich is in for a tough match, and I don’t see them getting too many chances with Leicester’s impeccable defensive record. Kasper Schmeichel will be a high owned chalk goalie on both sites and should be in some of your lineups with the best clean sheet probabilities.

Sheffield United vs Aston Villa – This will be a highly defensive English Premier League match, with neither team scoring much all year. I still think Sheffield is the better side, and I look towards Oliver Norwood on DraftKings and McCormick on FanDuel. If you want a piece of Aston Villa, Jack Grealish is your top target.

Southampton vs West Ham – The Hammers have been struggling as of late in the English Premier League, and Southampton is on the rise. After a tough loss last week, I expect them to bounce back, and Danny Ings is the main man to do so. James Ward Prowse takes a majority of their set pieces, so he will be in play on DraftKings, and West Ham has been a weak side as of late so I will only look towards their defenders on FanDuel.
