NHL DFS Top Plays (Apr. 9)

Some late news is leading into a dramatic Friday in terms of approaching this slate. Colorado has announced that its morning skate was cancelled, due to a positive Covid-19 case. If this game plays, stack the hell out of the Avalanche! If not, there are other areas where we can find smash spots! Let’s dig into the 4/9 NHL DFS Top Plays on WinDailySports.

4/9 NHL DFS Top Plays

1. Colorado Line 1 – Rantanen-Mackinnon-Landeskog – Note, this has Covid cancellation potential. If it plays, love it. Play the whole line. If not, act like this isn’t even here.
2. Washington Big Boys – Ovechkin & Carlson – Not looking to overthink this, but they’re playing Buffalo. You don’t need the whole line, just the two big guys. However, see below in the top one-off plays for one of my favorite “Value-esque” plays tonight.
3. Pittsburgh Line 1 – Rust-Crosby-Guentzel – Rust & Crosby would be my top two out of these three to play tonight, as they face the Devils. The Devils have been playing better, but for a team that is fighting for the top of the conference, they should beat them.
