NHL Betting Picks Wednesday 4/28
Welcome to Keith’s NHL Betting Picks Wednesday 4/28. The Model had a monster night going 3-1. The only loss was the Isles who lost a 1-0 game to the Caps who scored on the first shot of the game. No offense for them, could be a problem come playoffs. The two overs hit with ease with both games ending up 7-4. And the Hurricanes did exactly what I thought and bounced back in a big way from their loss on Monday with a 5-1 domination of Dallas. It feels good when we get pretty much everything right. Let’s keep it rolling today.
We have 7 games on the NHL slate tonight. Let’s take a look at the updated profitability and over win percentages for the teams playing today.

My Picks
Sharks/Coyotes Over 5.5 (-110): I expect the net to get pounded tonight in the Sharks and Coyotes game. Neither team has solid goatending, especially if the Coyotes roll with Adin Hill tonight. The Sharks average 6.21 total goals/game, and the Yotes are at 5.88. Both teams are > 50% on their overs this year, and these teams have even more goals in their environment tonight (Yotes 6 goals/game on the road, Sharks 6.32 at home). Not too much juice and love rooting for some goals.
Golden Knights ML (-136): Vegas is currently rolling right now. The Avs are a little banged up with Rantanen injured and Grubauer just activated from COVID list but probably not playing tonight. Vegas is currently sporting a 9-game win streak and while all good things eventually come to an end I don’t see that happening tonight. On 3 days rest too, with the Avs coming off back-to-back losses to St. Louis, look for Vegas to get 10 straight tonight.
Wild -1.5 (+172): This one is a bit of a risk, but calculated nonetheless. The Wild are on an unreal run of 5 straight puck line hits. And the Blues have just beat the Avs in back-to-back games. The Wild have a good rest spot here with their last game on Saturday (Blues was Monday). The Wild have one of the best puck line profits this year (12.67) and the Blues one of the worst (-15.67). The value on this is too good to pass up so we are riding.
