Welcome to week 4 and this is the week I’ve promised myself to take my own advice… ha ha. LFG. I’ve done some serious digging in this week, and I’ve got some great plays at the Wide Receiver position for the family. Its looking like the most popular games being targeted will be KC@PHI, CAR@DAL, SEA@SF, and of course ARI@LAR . I really like targeting guys in those games, targeting the high owned guys in my cash games, and pivoting off those high owned players in GPPs. Let’s dive in to this Week 4 NFL DFS slate and talk some Wide Receivers.
DAVANTE ADAMS, GB $7,900 DRAFTKINGS, $8,100 FANDUEL
Davante Adams was targeted 18 times last week, while throwing up 12 catches for 132 yards, and got his first score of the season. The Steelers have allowed 5 TDs already this season to the WR position and Chase smoked them last week for 2 scores. I get the feeling that Rodgers is pissed off and he’ll be peppering Adams with targets again this week. Adams is a guy that I am close to locking in to all my builds this week.
COOPER KUPP, LAR $7,800 DRAFTKINGS $8,600 FANDUEL
Cooper Kupp is a great play this week, shocker!!! His price tag has jumped way up, so it’s hard to squeeze him in, BUT he’s going to go off again, and probably grab another 2 scores this week. I know it’s crazy…. but is it?? The trend will continue here as Kupp ranks 1st in end zone targets for all WRs. This game has a lot of fantasy appeal having the highest point total on the board tied with the KC game. If you decide to play Kupp, I would try and run it back with Kirk to add a little value to your lineup construction.
DK METCALF, SEA $7,200 DRAFTKINGS, $7,700 FANDUEL
DK did it last week, and he’ll do it again this week. This game has Fantasy Fireworks written all over it, and it might be my favorite game on the slate… it’s close. Last week DK caught 6 of 9 targets for 107 and finally got into the end zone. Jealously over Lockett is a thing, and Lockett is a little banged up but practiced on Friday, and seems good to go. But I do think they spread it out more in this game, and DK will get his share again, and my prediction is he catches a bomb down field early in the game. LFG
DEEBO SAMUEL, SF $6,500 DRAFTKINGS, $6,900 FANDUEL
Deebo is a guy I want to target in a lot of my builds this week. His production has tailed off week to week, but I think we get back on track here with a big game. Aiyuk is back in the picture it seems, which only has me liking Deebo that much more. Everyone will be playing Trey Sermon this week and for good reason. I see a shootout coming here in this matchup, and I love building with Russ/DK and running it back with Deebo. Seattle is giving up good production to the wide out position and they get crushed out of slot. Deebo is a lock for me this week. I love this play.
JAYLEN WADDLE, MIA $4,900 DRAFTKINGS, $5,400 FANDUEL
Waddle was a guy I played a couple weeks ago, and it just wasn’t there. But he is seeing a ton of targets, even for a rookie. In fact last week he was targeting 13 times, and the Indy defense is nothing special with their BS mixing up between Cover 2 and Cover 3 schemes. It seems almost a lock at this value that Brissett will continue to look Waddles way for a safe passing option this week, and for that I’m in on him. Miami has the 4th highest passing rate in the league right now, and that might surprise you. I like Corey Davis a little bit more, but I’ll be looking to grab some value here with Waddle this week.
COREY DAVIS $5,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,700 FANDUEL
I heard someone call them… the New Jersey Paper Planes….LOL, I really hate the Jets… Sorry 2Lock. But this is a REVENGE GAME ALERT!! With Elijah Moore and Crowder still out, there is really no one else to throw to other than Davis and Berrios. I really like playing Davis in cash this week, but the Jets make me super nervous, so I’m kind of on the fence about this one, but it seems right based on script and volume potential. Zach Wilson has said that Davis is his guy and the TEN defense has allowed the 3rd most FPG to the WR position. Cash game and GPP Value for me here.
