Just like that and we are already in NFL Week 15. We have had a good run on tight ends and hope to continue providing value each week in my NFL DFS Tight Ends article. Tight ends are sometimes forgotten and left to the last pick in your lineup and that can easily leave you with an outcome of 0-2 points. This could be devastating for your chances of a takedown or simply cashing. Each week I will lay out my favorite options up top and the best value plays on the board as well. Let’s take a look at our NFL Week 15 DFS Tight Ends!
GEORGE KITTLE, SF $6,900 DRAFTKINGS, $7,100 FANDUEL
Kittle is not just in the game to make key blocks and open up the run game. Kittle has burst onto the scene since Week Kittle is not just in the game to make key blocks and open up the run game. Kittle has burst onto the scene since Week 9 and has reclaimed his title as the Leader of Tight End University. If the game log trend continues we can see another 37-42 point game out of Kittle this week against the weak defense of the Falcons. Kittle had a 9 reception 181 yard game followed by a 13 catch 151 yard game in back to back weeks. As long as the Falcons can keep this game competitive we should see another big day this Sunday from Kittle and the 49ers. I do think I will be paying down at tight end though with all the value that follows and guys I want to spend up on at wide receiver.
MARK ANDREWS, BAL $6,400 DRAFTKINGS, $7,400 FANDUEL
As the team’s best and most consistent receiving option Andrews will find his way onto some of my lineups on Sunday. I’m not in love with the Ravens offense in its current state but after seeing the Bears gash the Packers the Ravens should be able to score enough points here for Andrews to pay off. The Packers defense is good but not great and off pure volume alone Andrews will find a way to double digits in Week 15. Averaging 16.7 points as a tight end is not an easy feat and the safe floor he provides goes a long way in cash games and your single entry tournaments. With so much value available at tight end I won’t be loading up on him but in Packers/Ravens game stacks and tournaments I will have my shares of him.
ZACH ERTZ, ARI $5,400 DRAFTKINGS $5,300 FANDUEL
With the Cardinals at full strength Ertz has been getting more and more involved each week as a real threat in this offense. Now due to the unfortunate injury to Hopkins, Ertz’s role should expand even more when they head into Detroit this weekend. The price is right on Ertz with the $1000-$2100 discount you get on both sites when dropping down from Kittle and Andrews. Combine that with the fact that the Lions are an average at best defense and you have all the making for high value play on Sunday. On DraftKings I prefer the even great discount of Higbee and on FanDuel I have them both rated near identical as far as output goes.
TYLER HIGBEE, LAR $4,000 DRAFTKINGS, $5,200 FANDUEL
The Rams will be missing skilled players across the field due to injuries and Covid-19. Similar to what we saw last week when we loaded up on Chargers, the same strategy will bear fruit this week. After Kupp and Reynolds (who is more of a field stretcher) Higbee should be the second most targeted player on the field come Sunday. The matchup is good, the price is right, and the targets will be there. As much as I like Kittle, most of my lineups will have Higbee in order to take advantage of the price saving and thus allowing me to pay up at other skill positions.
KYLE PITTS, ATL $5,500 DRAFTKINGS $5,800 FANDUEL
The price on Pitts has finally come down to the point where I will be taking some shots in a matchup which should have the Falcons airing out the ball playing from behind. The targets have always been there for Pitts and that is not going to change in Week 15. Pitts and the Falcons in general are just not scoring enough points. Pitts only has one touchdown on the year and we can’t expect this week but boy would that be nice at this price. Give me 10+ points of a floor and I will kindly resort to the rest of my lineup going off with guys like Cooper Kupp dropping 35+.
