Welcome to The Wells Fargo DFS DraftKings Ownership Projections. This week we are at Quail Hollow in North Carolina. This course has been used 4 times for this tourney since 2016 with the PGA Championship and President’s Cup in between. This is a championship course and plays like it, as well as being an elevated event. The Wells Fargo DFS DraftKings Ownership Projections are intended to give you the metrics and numbers you need for leverage, pivots off high chalk, and value golfers to propel you to the top of the contests.
The Course and it’s Horses
This course will have slightly more room on the fairways than a major. You will still need accuracy with long approach shots, above average scrambling, and still face lightning fast greens. The Par 4s are the key to doing well here. The median score here is par and has averaged that for the last 10 years. Rory is the course history king by a longshot. He has won here three times and finished in the top 10 the last eight years. The only exception was a T16 in 2018. With Rahm and Scheffler resting due to “workload management”, Rory is the prohibitive favorite. Other notables include Morikawa, Spieth, Cam Young, Xander, Fowler, Day, and JT.
Recent Results
Last week we offered two Frisky Biscuit golfers, Grant missed the cut and Tosti, at 6500 salary, finished T10 at 13 under and brought great value. All my plays (listed below the ownership) made the cut last week. This brings our overall record to 42-10. Our record since the Sentry in January is 22-4.
